TF continues with the adorable packaging… however, I remain just ambivalent to the Peach theme as I was last time! Certain palettes/releases I can see the draw and popularity even if I don’t personally like it (i.e., ABH Modern Renaissance), but the Sweet Peach palette really does not compute with me!
That being said, I hope everyone who tried to order again was successful. 🙂
I like certain things from Too Faced, but I’m pretty wary of their over-hyped, artificially limited collections that tend to be of iffy quality — I ‘m not buying anything without swatches or reviews first.
I couldn’t have said it better myself. I’m also curious if these are LE or if Too Faced finally made this stuff permanent.
Can they not come up with a new theme?
i haven’t bought any too faced products in a long time, don’y own any of the sweet peach, but i agree !! maybe a nature type, animals or something lol
Are you sure about the dates? There seem to be discrepancies. TF Instagram said available online 12/15 and stores 1/6. The eyeshadow palette re-release is 12/26. Ulta’s “coming soon” placeholder pages says in-stores 1/5.
Too Faced’s website says “Arriving 12/14” on all of the Sweet Peach products.
Ulta shows: Coming Soon 12-15! In Stores 12-26!
I did not see that it was different by product, so thank you for the heads up on Ulta’s info, but Too Faced’s actual website says 12/14. I am assuming that TF is releasing everything 1 day prior to retailers to gain more direct sales.
Thanks for clarifying about TF. I can see why they release online a day earlier.
On Ulta, they all say aiming soon 12/15. But while the es palette says in stores 12/26 and the other stuff is in store 1/5.
Do you know if this will be limited edition? I’m tired of the limited edition thing, making people go crazy to get a palette.
It wasn’t quite clear!
Hi Christine! Could you possibly do a full review and recommendation on the collection before it launches officially? I definitely can not afford to splurge on them all, so it would be SO helpful to get your honest opinion on the quality. Same with the Mariah Carey MAC one please!
Hi Cindy,
I’m sorry, but I do not have the products. I can’t review them until they are available for sale which is when I can purchase, and unfortunately, even though I will pay for expedited shipping, it will still take 1-2 weeks after that for me to receive, photograph, swatch, and test each item. Too Faced does not typically send product to me (I get a random package with Too Faced’s mascara maybe 2-3 times a year but rarely anything else) so there’s no way for me to obtain product earlier than I can purchase them. I’m so sorry to disappoint you!
I already reviewed everything from MAC’s Mariah Carey Collection.
That’s okay, Christine! Thank you so much for letting me know. I will most certainly keep an eye out on your upcoming post, but I think my best bet would be to purchase the eye shadow and highlighting palettes just in case. I have a feeling those 2 items will be the most sought after. Plus, I could always check in with you before deciding which ones to keep or return! 🙂 From my understanding of the given info, will the eyeshadow palette be launched at Sephora.com on the 15th as well? Or is 12/26’s instore release date the only time to retrieve it?
Whoops! I was looking for the Round-Up post of the Mariah Carey Collection but just found it!
I believe 12/15 is the online date for retailers (Ulta/Sephora) for the palette!
That blush/bronzer palette is really pretty, but awfully expensive for them, no?
Yes it is. More expensive because of the hype Kirsten!
Can’t wait……NOT! I have a serviceable papa don’t from ages gone by in cosmetics years, without the artificial scent or saccharine. Think I’ll hold in place. The first Peach issue was one of the most egregious hypes ever. Cannot support current tf. TOFTS. ( too old for this $#!+)
I only want the blush and highlighting pallet, but “want” is a strong word, because while I know they are my colours, I could find them for way cheaper CAD.
The only thing here that I *may* actually be interested in is the Lip Oils, as long as they are free from sodium saccharin. My lips could REALLY use something soothing like this right now!
Hi,
You may want to pick up Sephora’s brand lip balm called Mara Hoffmann Kalescape. It’s on sale for 11.00! Love it so much I bought two.
I am such a sucker, I want pretty much all of it!
I’m assuming that they will be limited edition but will the eyeshadow palette be limited also? If so I’m getting it the first day it launches. I missed out on it last year and was super disappointed.
Well I’m not sure about whether to get the shadow palette or not but I AM sure this article made me treat my hubby to an exceptional verse of ‘papa don’t preach’ so he’s thankful for that I’m sure!
Sorry, after the first launch fiasco I won’t be picking any of these up. I just am not interested in being part of the feeding frenzy.
I feel the same way. After refreshing my browser all day, by fluke I somehow managed to snag the Sweet Peach palette the first time around (at about 3 am). I ended up selling it later because the quality was meh, the shades were boring, and I just wasn’t reaching for it. The words “Too Faced” and “peach” strike a never now. I will be avoiding all of this completely.
I picked up the eye shadow palette last year and love it! My interest is piqued with the lip products and the highlight palette but want to see in person and want to read your review.
Is the blush in the highlight pallette the same blush selling separately?
I have Papa Don’t Peach already- and it’s pretty mediocre.
While this theme is cute I question if they are bringing anything exciting to the table.
I was on the fence about the peach palette but I was given it as a gift and I absolutely love it. I use it every day now! cant wait to see how the glosses swatch!
I love Too Faced but I hate orange eye shadow. The highlighting pallettes and brighter peach lip oils caught my eye, though. I would like to try those.
I will wait on the review and swatches to familiarize myself with this again. While I very much wanted the eyeshadow palette on its first release it was so very frustrating. I actually had it in my cart but it was pulled as I was shopping. I always was a bit concerned about the scent as well. Fresh peach aroma is wonderful but fake peach-like smell, I just don’t know… I guess you could say my ardour has cooled and I won’t be jumping through any hoops to get this.
Plus I have my eye on a few more of the Viseart eyeshadow palettes to wear with the neutral mattes, now those shadows excite me!
Re eyeshadows — lately I’m interested in peachier shadows as neutrals as alternative or additional to beiges, so maybe for me on this one, though I think the scent might make it a no-go. Will have to see in stores.
The Highlighting Palette looks cute, I think, but $42??? Wow, what happened? Is it giant?
I’m actually pretty excited about this. I’m not a huge fan of the chocolate scent in their other palettes (I like chocolate but not in my makeup) so peach should be a nice change. I missed the first release for the eyeshadow palette so I’m happy to get a second shot. The palette has a lot of variety and the colors look so versatile and actually wearable! So many palettes seem too geared for night looks or are fully of super bright colors I have no idea how I’d use. This looks like something I could use getting ready for work (professional office environment) but there are enough darker shades that it could transition nicely into night. The highlighting palette looks great but for the price I’m not sure it’s worth it.
Is the too faced sweet peach eyeshadow palette reformulated? I really want it, but i cant justify it if the shadows are bad quality
