At those prices (I shudder to think what this would cost in Canada), I will pass. Most of this looks like it can be very easily duped.
The violet one is beautiful and tempting but it’s $155! ?
This has been going in and out of stock for some time now. It was also on his website as well. I feel like I can’t seem to see the hype for his products. None of the color stories look like anything that hasn’t been done before.
The Moss Agate which is the one most suitable for my skin looks like the Dark Star MTHRSHP from Pat McGrath. I can’t confirm this as I haven’t seen anyone talk about it. On a glance, they look similar to me.
What a dumb idea to combine the eyeshadows with the bronzer. I am only interested in the palette with the blue color, but what the heck am I supposed to do with that pitch dark bronzer/contour on my fair skin?!
Also, it sounds like the contour and highlighter are cream products – never a good idea to package them together unless there are covers of some sort for the cream products….
They are not, they feel like baked gelee.
I’m just going by Tom Ford’s own blurb, up above – they call them “highlighting and shading creams” so that’s what I figured they were.
The numbering is weird on those. I got the purple one. The highlighter shade is perfect for me, but the contour/bronzer is too dark. It might be ok as a blush or extra eye shadow.
Moonlit Violet is my jam! Because one of the few cool-toned colors I can easily pull off would have to be cool violets and lilacs. Oh, and I love all things purple! ?
I wish these were sold as shadow quads and separate contour/highlight duos. I would have bought two or three of the shadow quads. But the contour highlights would be so dark on my super fair skin. So I’m gonna skip these altogether.
