damn, I always want these SO much, but the price is insane… more now than ever before, so it hurts to consider!!!
That rose neutral quad looks amazing. I bet it’s an A+.
I have so much eyeshadow…regardless of how these score I’m just not sure I can justify an almost $90 eyeshadow quad. Maybe if the rose toned one turns up during the Sephora 20% off and at least I can return it if it is anything less than magical lol ?

Thank you! I went ahead and ordered the rose neutral which reminds me of Nude Dip somehow, though it’s a different color scheme. It just looks really promising, though that could be wishful thinking ?
They would have to be incredibly special to consider. Double Indemnity is the only one of interest for me, but the colours certainly do not look unique. Sometimes TF e/s’s have something special about them, but given the mediocrity of the brand lately, I’d probably be inclined to buy something else for less.
Double Indemnity is the only one that interest me, also, but given how crummy Tom Ford’s latest releases seem to have been and the fact that these are OVER $100 here in Canada added to the simple reality that I love neutral shadows so probably have dupes up the Wazoo, and I’m fine with passing on these.

$88 for 4 shadows and some junky sponge brushes (just because it has TF on it doesn’t make it a good tool to use for shadow – or do people actually use the sponges)? The quads seem very hit and miss with reviews here so hopefully the formula has changed for the better for those that do pick these up. I think the color stories are pretty, no doubt,… but nothing interesting since near every brand of quads (from drugstore, to HE, to luxury) has these colors available.
I have been using sponge brushes all the time when I travel. They work the best with natural/barely-there looks which are basically just a swash of color on my eyelids. I can’t expect them to be able to give me the blendability required by loud/dramatic eye looks. Tom Ford’s sponge applicators are not the best that I’ve tried (which is Suqqu’s BTW) but definitely better than most. Unfortunately, there are not many options for people like me who don’t use brushes when traveling, much less affordable options. That’s why I purchased TF in the first place and thankfully they are all hits so far so I’m in love with these quads.
I use them, I do!!!! Lauren, the “sponges” that come with Chanel’s quads are actually really good. I only learned this after tossing a few of them, which I now regret. They’re not like your typical sponge tipped applicators – they seem to have a covering of very, very thin flannelette on them and work better than many brushes for Chanel’s shadow formula!
Love the colors in Body Heat. But for me, this price is a non-starter.
Oh dear me, but Body Heat could be something special! The problem is that with TF quality being so wonky lately, I wouldn’t even consider buying a $90 palette of his before you’ve had an opportunity to review them. I just don’t trust the brand so semi-blindly anymore.
Double Indemnity looks like another recent one, White Suede, in the wet/dry formula

Are his eyeshadows really worth the price? For that price, they better apply themselves.
These look beautiful and the shades in all the quads are really on trend. I hope the brand is using the Nude Dip formula, as that was fantastic.
But you never know with Tom Ford, it could be stellar or average.

I love my nude dip quad! The formula and shades are very flattering ?. I am very much interested in the rose neutral quad… Double intimity quad is also lovely… If they perform like the nude dip formula, it would achieve such a soft smoky look!
I have just received the new rose neutral (Body Heat) quad. Immediately, 2 of the colors looked suspiciously like shades in Nude Dip, which I’ve grown to love.
Well, the good news is that it’s the Nude Dip formula. The bad news is that BH #1 swatches IDENTICAL on my NC15 skin to ND #2. And BH #4 swatched IDENTICAL to ND #4. To reiterate, 2 of the 4 colors of Body Heat are near perfect dupes to 2 of the Nude Dip shadows on my arm and I doubt they’ll look substantially different on my lids.
I don’t even know what to say… but I’ll play with it at least until Christine rates the palette and gives us her far more qualified opinion.
