SIGH. So much for cutting back on my makeup spending! I’m eyeing African Violet, Supernouveau, and Photosynthesex (what a cheeky name!). What about you?

Bought Daydream which is awesome and plan to order Pretty Baby. A little fearful of African VIolet and Photosynthesex since the yellow in both looks harsh. I’d love feedback!! I saw Photosynthesis for a minute but didn’t try it, otherwise am not near stores that stock TF so buy online using discounts and points, etc…..

Those are certainly all lovely to look at but far too rich for my wallet. I hope you review them so I can admire them even more.

I see two or three that I really love the look of but I can probably dupe all or most of the shades readily from my collection. I find these just way too pricey but I hope they’re good quality.

I’m really looking forward to seeing these reviewed and also in person! ? I do want TF to come out and actually confirm which of the previous quads are being discontinued though — people are asking the counters and SAs they know and it looks like quite a lot will be gone. ?

p.s. Thank you Christine for reviewing the FF lipstick — I know the name is contentious with some (not sure if people are aware that this came from a fragrance of the same name and then extended out to a range of products, versus this name being put just on a lipstick randomly) but I also know a lot of people who like the cheekiness of it and looking around to see if it has been reviewed.

Oh my, if Virgin Orchid performs as well as Nude Dip (one of Christine’s faves), I’m so tempted! I’ve never tried TF e/s before.

As always, I’m super uncomfortable making any promises about reviewing something, even if I have purchased it or have it (I do not have anything from this launch at this time). There are very often times I purchase something but don’t end up getting to photographing it at all, or there are items that I have swatched and tested that never end up reviewed or take me weeks to review. Thank you Huaer! Unfortunately, we don’t have Nordstrom in Montreal/Quebec but your comment reminded me that that we have a couple of Holt Renfrew stores here and that they carry Tom Ford. Just called the HR store close to me and they have the quads. I will go to see them and swatch.

Oh boy! I had better shield my eyes, otherwise I *know* I will want one. Or two? Having just bought PMG Bronze Seduction, I think that put a deep enough dent in my m/u budget. Yet, Virgin Orchid….calls to me…. So does Daydream, even though I know periwinkle looks like h3ll on me.

“Virgin Orchid” reminds me of “Enchanted”, which was a limited edition palette released waaay back in 2012. Also, I know that Tom Ford’s quads come in two different formulations. Are “Daydream” and “Virgin Orchid” the same as “Nude Dip” and “Honeymoon”, whereas the rest are like the other (and in my opinion, inferior) palettes? If so, “Daydream” will make its way into my basket during the Sephora VIB Rouge sale! I’m a sucker for purples. ?

It’s a lot of money and am trying to figure out why I am feeling underwhelmed. I have Enchanted, Nude Dip, Lavender Lust, Lilac Dream, Safari Haze, Titanium Smoke. So by rights I should be in a “must have” for Daydream– perfect colors for me. But when I see swatches, I am just feeling: Meh. Oddly, am looking at Pretty Baby and wonder about it’s neutral reds. I’m looking at Photsynthesex and digging its color story, though in truth I would rarely use it.

I have Nude Dip, Titanium Smoke too. T.S. Is an original and not sold anymore. Suqqu has a similar one like T.S.. I bought the Suqqu version which is new for Fall 2018. So I am good with Tom Ford. I rather spend my money somewhere else now.

Not throwing shade at anyone else (we all have our limits), but you could not convince me to buy an $88 dollar eyeshadow quad AT GUNPOINT. Having said that, there are some very nice combinations in this offering … for someone else to enjoy.

Well, I might fork over the $88 at gunpoint…but that’s the ONLY way I’d pay that much for a 4-shade eyeshadow palette!

Heck, I’m still debating whether or not I should spend less than half that amount for a 14-shade palette (ABH Sultry)!!

If Virgin Orchid performs as well as Nude Dip it will be my first Tom Ford purchase. Of course I don’t want to spend $88 for a quad, but I’ve spent $22 or more for singles if I really love them…

I have ordered Daydream and the Virgin Orchid pre sale @ Nordstrom. Will you be doing swatches /review? I cleaned out my make up Area in my dressing room this summer and only have kept Iris Bronze & Honeymoon as they were recently purchased. I love following you!

I’m interested to learn more about the shade formula/finish and quality of swatches. I tend to focus on LE releases first at this time of year but could see a palette falling into my cart if there’s an exceptional deal, otherwise, I can wait.

I heard from reliable sources that the discontinued palettes are Silvered Topaz, Lilac Dream, and Starry Night. (There’s mixed opinion if Titanium Smoke might also be discontinued.)
