The Spring Season: Benefit Zone Out Lipgloss

Benefit Cosmetics Lip Gloss Zone Out ($18.00) is an ultra sheer shimmering champagne with a touch of gold. This is really a gloss that’s best to enhance another lipstick or worn alone for a quick, everyday kind of lip that just sparkles a bit. It doesn’t actually add or change-up my normal lip color, so that’s why I like to pair it with a flatter lipstick to enhance the undertones of my lip color instead. Benefit Lip Gloss is a non-sticky, thinner gloss with a springy doe-foot applicator and no real noticeable scent from what I could sniff out!

I love Benefit lip glosses and Zone Out is a great color. Don’t Benefit glosses usually have that lovely lychee scent? I’ve always loved the consistency and the way these glosses smell. Not to mention, the colors are very pretty and wearable.

I think so. I just smelled Friends in High Places (such a pretty color) and it definitely has that pretty scent. It’s not overwhelming, though. Maybe some of them just weren’t manufactured w/ a strong scent??

Yeah, mine usually has that fruit punchy smell, too! I like it, but it can get a tad overwhelming, so perhaps they toned it down? I know that I have a mini of I’m With The Band, from the Celebutante kit, and it smells very strongly – just like the old Her Glossiness glosses. I saw from your review that you didn’t get a scent from that one either, though. Maybe they changed the formula. Could be that the mini versions were somehow different, too. Odd!

I love this color! On a side note, I love the glosses they use on American idol! How do we find out what they use on the girls? I love what Kara wears! Their lips are so glossy! Christine, this gloss is so pretty on you! Everything looks good on you!!! I seriously love everything you try!

So there’s a whole beauty section on the American Idol website, and while I don’t see what’s going on this season, there is lots from before… so you might see if there is consistency in what the key makeup artist uses on the ladies!
