I’ve only tried one curling iron in my lifetime and it works perfectly fine. A $20 Ceramic Straightener by Revlon. It works very well, so I decided that it’s not necessary to purchase a $200 straightening/curling iron.

I have the 3/4 inch. It works well. The curls stay in well but it’s hard for me to curl my own hair in the back. I usually use it on others or have my sister curl mine. If you do purchase one, check the internet first. I found better deals vs. the mall kiosk.

I love my Enzo Milano wand, it’s seriously the best curling iron! I’ve even tested it on people whose curl “never holds” and with this curing iron their curls last into the next day! It’s major!!!!!!

hi, i ordered one online but had to return it. I loved the idea but without the clip my hair slipped and i had to hold close to my skin. They give you a heat safe glove but i would just use a regular w/ a clip.

Definitely the Conair Tourmaline Ceramic curling irons. They’re not expensive (you can find them at CVS, Walmart, Target..etc) and mine have lasted a while (i’ve had mine for 2 years..so far so good!). The ceramic is much better on the hair as well!

Revlon does a good enough job for me. I’ve found that unlike straighteners, you can go for the cheap stuff w/ curling irons which is great.

For really sexy beach waves I just bought a one inch curling iron and removed the lip/clamp and so I just wrap and inch or so of hair around it and bam… big sexy curl that relaxes to a wave. it’s so quick too! takes 20 mins on my incredibly thick hair. i love it

Well I have a Revlon one thats worked fine for years. I’m more of a straightener, so I use a Maxius that has also worked wonders for years!

The best curling iron: Flat irons!

I cannot get a nice-looking curl, let alone any curl, with curling irons, but flat irons do the trick. So any quality flat iron with smooth, rounded-off plates will work. I use my Paul Brown Hawaii for curling, but any flat iron with a thermal dial will work.

hot tools professional was a life changer…I have stick straight hair and it is the ONLY curling iron that has ever worked on me, and keeps my hair curly all day (versus for ten minutes).

Hot tools– the marcel irons. I love my marcel. when I did musicals I was never afraid of someone stealing it because no one knows how to use a marcel.

I had the opportunity to try many different curling iron brands and the one that best works for me is the Karmin Salon Pro Clipless Tourmaline Curling Iron
