LAST ONE I LOVED WAS MY ROLLICKIN PAINT POT(FAFI) STARS AND ROCKETS ON TOP OF THAT…BABY PETALS (?) ON THE INNER LID AND SKETCH ON THE CREASE…I USED BABY PETALS AS THE HIGH LIGHTER 🙂 I LOVE THE WAY THE ROLLICKIN CHANGES THE COLOR OF THE PURPLE
Ohh, that sounds lovely, Paola! I love Stars ‘n Rockets.
Bell bottom blue on inner corners into antique green in middle of socket up into crease and antique gold on outer corners blending into my crease with emerald eyeliner topped with antique green on lower lid.. light gold highlight.
🙂
That’s a pairing I wouldn’t have thought of, Lolli! Great thinking 🙂
I like all these questions you are posting on your blog!
My last great combo would be Nocturnelle with a gold colour from the Coastal Scents 78 colour palette.
I used the Gold on the inner corner, and Nocturnelle on the outer corner. To add some depth and crease, I used Top Hat.
For highlights, I used Dazzlelights on the browbone.
It is a bolder look than usual, but I like the overall results!
I bet Nocturnelle looked awesome with golds 🙂
nanogold on browbone, bold & brazen on lid, antiqued in crease, feline kohl power with antiqued smudged over it. an interesting smokey-coppery eye 🙂
Ohh, I love it, Courtney!!
Pink and green eyeshadow look:
Girlfriendly on inner/first half of eyelid, greeny-gold one (can’t remember the name) paintpot on the middle-outer half of eyelid, Stars n’Rockets eyeshadow over inner/first half of eyelid, green-gold eyeshadow over middle-outer half of eyelid, dark green in crease, Urban Decay Midnight cowgirl on brownbone to highlight.
You can also substitute Rollikin’ paint pot for the greeny-gold one and use a blue eyeshadow in place of the green-gold one and dark blue in the crease, instead of dark green, with a sparkly white to highlight – gives a great pink and blue eye.
Pink and green is a tough pairing! Glad you fouund a way to use them 🙂
OOO I just found a good one!
-the [lighter] purple mineralized e/s from Red She Said on the lid
-Climate Blue in the crease
-Shore Leave [or ne highlighter] to highlight
That sounds so lovely, Vivien!
Paradisco on the inner half of lid and Sketch on the outer half, with the same on my lower lash line. Dazzlelight to highlight and Feline Kohl Power to line.
Paradisco! I can’t get along with that one, but you make wish I could!
I’ve got two for ya….
Two with MAC Orange e/s ironically…
Orange on the lid with Violet Pigment on the outer corner and Tophat to darken the very outercorner. Orange and purple is a HOT combo!
The second is Orange layered with Coppering on top. It’s a very cool rusty color with a lot of depth. I used Mulch very lightly to on the outer crease, Black Tied to connect my Black Liner to the crease, and Rice Paper as a highlight. VERY COOL!
Nice! Good to see Orange getting some love 😉
Daisychain – under brow
Sumptuous Olive – inner lid
Humid – outer lid
Satin Taupe – around crease
Graphology – crease & outer v
Daisychain! Love that shadow 😀
Grape p/m above the crease, Fuchsia p/m all over lid, Violet p/m in crease to blend the two colours together, lined upper lash line with GOSH teal liquid liner (dupe for MAC’s Aqualine liquidlast eye liner.)
I can just see this! So pretty.
Here’s my latest ones:
1.Stilife as base
Lusterleaf e/s on lid
Mutiny pigment in the crease
Print e/s in the outer V
Solar White e/s as brwobone highlighter and on inner tear duct
Emerauld Green pigment wet to line lower lashline
2. Cash Flow p/p as base
Gorgeous Gold e/s on lid
Amberlight e/s in the crease
Cranberry e/s in the outer V
Solar White e/s as brwobone highlighter and on inner tear duct
Fuschia pigment wet to line the lower lashline
Those both sound divine! Great ideas, Sandy!
For a dailey look for going to school or work i use all MAC starflash, dreammaker on the lid, bold & brazen the the crease, and glamour check! in the outer V. I love those colors and have actually bought them for a few friends!
That’s an awesome daily look, Shannon 😀
At the moment I adore my Smoke & Diamonds in combination with Shroom or Ricepaper on top of the Painterly Paint Pot.
Smoke & Diamonds is gorg 😀
bare canvas paint, with parrot all over lid. then tempting in the crease and a brought up to the highlight of vanilla pigment. then use a bit of concrete in the outer corner.
Ohh, interesting use of Parrot with Tempting!
Today I wore, Moon’s Reflection on my lid, Mink & Sable in my crease and Shroom as a highlight. Quite Please was my lipstick. I wore this with a blue knitted sweater that matched Moon’s Reflection. I really liked the way this combo looked.
That sounds really nice, Beverly! I never would put those together.
french violet pigment the lid, mauvement pigment on the crease, with espresso e/s in the outer v.
Very nice! I wouldn’t have put those together!
I went really purple with Urban Decay, lol
I did a wash of Asphyxia on the lid and almost all the way up to my brows [i blended it into my skin so it was very light when I got to the top]. Then I used Ransom in the inner corner and Flash on the outer, pulled them together to blend, and then used Zero and made a thin black line almost right on my lashline. Topped it off with Lust eyeliner right on the waterline and a little below and it was perfect =] Purple makes brown eyes crazy pretty.
Haha, but purple is great 😀
I don’t have any gray colors , so i tried white frost(mac)on brow bone, scene(mac)on lid, and nehru(mac) in crease and as a liner.I wear nc42.
Ohh, I like that. Very cool and gray!
My last one was NYX’s Pacific on lids and the gold shade from Wet n Wild’s Ultimate Expressions in Sand Castle in creases and layered over Pacific. I got my first shadow compliment from that!
Ohh, that sounds lovely, Chynna! Nice work 🙂
I paired Lilac touch (Ungaro) with Vellum and Black Tied, I know it’s basic but it just looked so good!
Also, Wolf Pearlglide with Goldmine eyeshadow. The gold shimmer in the Wolf liner was just intensified by Goldmine’s golden shimmer and they paired so well!
I wish I could have gotten Lilac Touch to show up on me 🙁
Thanks for the trick with Wolf and Goldmine!
I did Old Gold on the inner lid, Mauvement on the outer, and Viz a Violet on the lower lashline, with Bobbi Brown Copper Diamond shimmer brick on the browbone. It was simple, but I received so many compliments on the color pairing!
I need to dig out Old Gold! I used to love it!
