What product do you covet so much you won’t touch it? What product do you just love, admire, and are afraid to use it for one reason or another?
Thinking about it, I don’t think there’s any product that I’m really scared to use. I don’t own too many incredibly expensive items, and I’ve always been a user rather than a sole makeup collector. Often, I recognize how many products I own, and that fact makes it nearly impossible to run out of anything!
I use everything. I like the bittersweet feeling of using up irreplaceable products!

at first i felt like that about my MSF’s, especially Petticoat and Porcelain Pink, but then i realized that i would NEVER used them both up, even if i wore them every day 🙂
So true, Courtney! By the time we would run out of one product, something else has already come along and grabbed our attention!

I always get a bit scared to start using some of my stuff. Examples?
Some of my Lunasol eye shadow palettes, one Dior Quint (Stylish Move), and the cute Shu Uemura palettes I organised myself.
My problem is mostly with eye shadows. I really take ages to use some of them, just because they look so cute in their palettes.

Shu makes some really darling designs and imprints in their products. I wouldn’t want to disturb them!
I guess it would be the Jean Patou perfume that my grandmother gave me when I graduated from college…I wasn’t familiar with the brand at all when I received it and I can’t seem to find this in any store so I definitely treat each drop like it’s liquid gold hehe. I hardly use it coz I’m scared I might run out.

I try to use ALL of the products I buy… I mean, I bought them for a reason right? And the reason wasn’t to just look pretty sitting in my traincase. I don’t think I ever worry about running out of a product until I hit pan on something (so far, anything I’ve done that with has been permanent)… I think there is always going to be something new that grabs your attention anyway 🙂
That’s good, Ariele! That’s my line of thinking, too. Though I try to avoid anything I’d be afraid of messing up and using, too!

I pretty much use everything I buy, and I’m quite proud because then I come out of the category of being a collector and more into the category of “artist.” 😛 The only things I try to avoid using too much are my quads. I have some really HTF ones and ones I paid a fortune for, making them either impossible or really, really hard to replace. So yeah, I’m really scared to use my quads too often. They’re my babies and I love them all so much… I’d use them every day if I wasn’t so scared of using them up. Heh.
