What makeup do you have stashed in your purse right now? Women are notorious for carrying more in than purse than need, and it got me to wonder just how much makeup are we keeping in our little (okay, big) bags?
Me? I hardly carry makeup with me, other than the lipstick/lipglass I used for the look of that day. I think all I have in my purse is Lil’ Sizzler lip gelee! So I think I might defy the norm in this respect.
I have now in my bag is the C7 studiofix, nightmoth lip pencil and chestnut lip pencil, viva glam ll,atmospheric lip glass, instant gold lip glass, jellybabe lip gelee, and my bronze powder.
Lots of lip stuff! 😀
I usually keep oil blotting sheets and studio fix powder and either a lipglass or lipstick sometimes both but I find that I never end up using anything except my lipglass lol but I like to keep the sheets and powder in there you know just in case! I think I’m comforted knowing that it’s there if I need it.
Not too much, Belle! I know what you mean, I always have Lil’ Sizzler in my purse as my go-to gloss if I need it, though rarely use it!
Right now, my makeup bag has Lipgelees in Amber Russe, Saplicious,Jellylicious and Who’s that lady, Lipglasses in Bazaarish, Pink Grapefruit, Pop Mode, Bare Truth, Flashtronic, Pink Clash, Viva Glam VI,Synched Up, Boundless, and Wondershine, Plushglass in Ample Pink, and Lipstick in Viva Glam V!, Barely Lit, and Rubia. I also have Christian Dior Gloss in 117, Stila Lip Glaze in Vanilla, and Sephora maniac Liner in 06. I have a serious gloss jones! I also carry Benefit concealer, Urban Decay 24 hours liner in Zero, and Clean and Clear Oil papers.
WOW! That is a lot, girl! Whew!
Hmm…I don’t usually carry makeup around with me. And probably just like you, I bring around the lipgloss/lipstick color I’m wearing on that day. But most of the time I’m lazy I just bring my Purring Tendertone around cos I loves it. 😛

Holy shizz, I just realized I’ve been carrying this around with me for the last TWO WEEKS.
(And there is currently more makeup on my desk, surrounding my keyboard ad my coffee cup.)
Geez, that’s a bit of stuff! I had a bunch of mattenes by my desk. Finally cleared those off!
I always carry MAC blot powder, lipstick (Touch, Twig and Rocker), Stila blush (Peony or Gerbera) and lip balm (mostly Kiehl’s or The Body Shop).
Great list, Tonee!! Gotta have lip balm myself.
I have the kitchen sink with me today, all crammed into a lovely metallic Sephora makeup bag. Not alot of MAC this time! Bare Minerals face paraphernalia, Diorshow, Benefit Get Bent, NARS Orgasm, Sephora 8-pan eyeshadow palette, assorted MAC & BM brushes, MAC blushes Peaches & Cheek, MAC Blitz & Glitz, an Olive Eye Pencil (great for almost any brow if applied lightly) Alison Raffaele Soft Gloss in Polished, Clinque Black Honey, a mini Lancome eyeshadow quad that has a muted golden brown eyeshadow that I love, Benefit lipstick in Good-to-Go, MAC Clear brow gel, Victoria’ Secret Eyeshadow in Gratify, Dior Gloss in Jersey Girl (which compliments none of the other makeup I have with me!), and some Bourgois lip gloss I got as gratis that’s far too metallic and shimmery for my liking.

All I carry is Jellybabe lipgelee (it’s really neutral on me so it goes with whatever look I wear) and a trial size mascara (I have super blond lashes, so I always need a mascara just in case!)
If I am going somehwere nice (a wedding, party, etc) I will also bring along some coverup and whatever lipstick/lipgloss I’m wearing.

I don’t bring any make-up at all in my purse except lip balm….but if I go to parties I usually just bring the lipstick I’m wearing for touch ups 🙂

I have a HUGE, HUGE purse so theres a ton of makeup in it in various locations- pockets, zippered sections and 2 makeup bags. But here goes:

MAC lipglasses:pinkular, adventuresome, malibu barbie, viva glam v, pink clash, sex ray.
Chanel: christalle gloss in #16, mini gloss in a shade i forgot the name of (ruby red w/gold sparkles), and mini lipstick in java.
bobbi brown posey shimmer lip tint mini, co bigelo liptint#1139, urban decay big fatty lip plumper mini, ulta dark brown eyeliner pencil, bobbi brown mini everything mascara, a small jar of my bare escentuals makeup, mac mini concealor brush, mac patternmaker 3 tan lips palette and smiths rosebud salve tin. thats all- PHEW!! 🙂

Since I usually go all out with my make-up during the weekends and not-so-much during the week, my bag is relatively light when it comes to make-up. I have a travel-size make-up bag (that I got from MAC because it was sold with a brush set :D) that usually contains the following:

-MAC 3D Glass in Synched Up
-Benefit Dr. Feelgood Lipscription Duo (Buffing Lip Beads & Silky Lip Balm)
