Temptalia Asks You - What kind of makeup do you wear on the weekends?

What kind of makeup do you wear on the weekends? What is your weekend look? Hey, what are you wearing today?!

I’m all over the place, no real rhyme or reason! What I wear on Saturday is just as likely to be something I’d wear on Tuesday.

I tend to wear fun, pretty makeup on weekends. I work as a waitress every Friday and Saturday night (as well as Wednesday, but anyhow), and I figure it can’t hurt. 😀

I’m the same, everyday is random for me. Sometimes it’s bright and in your face, other times not so. For me it isn’t about the day of the week, more how i am feeling that particular day. Saying that however, if im going out in the evening (weekend or not) i’ll usually change my day makeup a little (change lips, add more to eyes.. etc).

on the weekends i don’t wear makeup if i’m not going anywhere (which i do alot cause i work alot during the week and usually need the weekend to catch up on sleep and laundry!), but when i’m out or working i tend to wear the same amount as i do for a regular workday (which is usually a full face LOL).

today, i’m back at the desk of doom, so i went with neutral eyes, a touch of Dame blush, and Twig-Twig lipstick. at least now i don’t feel like i look like a bum (even though i’m wearing my vintage Monkees tshirt and track pants……..i need to be comfy!!)

I usually stick with neutrals during the day (brown/beige shadows, mascara and Sweetie lipstick), but at night I really go all-out – false lashes and everything! I used to wear wigs a lot when I went out, just for fun, so the makeup had to be over-the-top to coincide. I love it.

That depends on what I have to do. Mostly it is no different from my everyday look.
Today I wear Vanilla, Hey and Cloudburst (as a liner on upper lashline), True Romantic Beauty Powder Blush and Frou l/s with Elaborate l/g.

I work in a very informal place, so wearing a full face of make up looks weird. That’s why on Saturdays I go all out! I mainly do it for myself, as I’m not doing anything special. Today I’m wearing YSL’s Perfect Touch foundation, with a little Touche Eclat around the eyes. Lâncome’s eyeshadows in purple and pink, a slick of Maybelline’s VolumExpress mascara and Chanel’s Rouge Allure in Desirable lipstick (blended in with Uriage lipbalm).

I don’t bother with makeup at the weekends unless I’m going out as usually I have to catch up on schoolwork etc, but if I am going out my makeup is the same as it would be any non-school day (we aren’t allowed to wear obvious makeup).

Today I went out shopping with some friends and I was wearing a pretty simple look as the outing was only confirmed this morning and I somehow ended up with only about ten mins to do my makeup so, after base etc. I was wearing a gold facepaint-thing that I use as a base over the lid with a light-green lancome eyeshadow and a touch of parrot on the inner-lid, goldmine on the outer, a dark brown in the crease and a creamy highlighter + brown liquidliner and mascara, with snob lipstick and the pink fafi blush (name escapes me!)

I like to wear more makeup on weekends since I don’t need to be at work. So I tend to go darker, smokier, more colorful.

I lOVE the eye combo I found today: Laura Mercier Vanilla Nuts all over lid to brow, line top lids with Mystery kohl power, then the dark blue from the Fafi 2 quad all over lid, blended up into crease with the peachy color from Fafi 2, then blend the peachy color with Fresh Corazon del Mar (golden-blue-grey) and blend this down to lashline again. I wish I had a pic. I will totally be doing this combo again! It’s a great smokey eye.

Even though I work on the weekends I never where make up to my job because I always wake up 10 min befoe I’m suppose to be on the train (I’m the keyholder). I would rather sleep in than do make up on the weekends!

I definitely wear more make up on the weekends. I have more time. On Friday nights or Saturdays when I go out shopping movies etc I do cute fun m/u. Sundays I volunteer or go to class so I do nice neutral bronzy make up.

Fun, creative, colourful. I generally wear more make-up on weekends and a lot of times it’s darker than my work make-up. Most of us don’t get to wear this type of make-up Monday to Friday, so I really take advantage of it when I can. 🙂 It also depends on my mood and what I’m wearing as well though.

I tend go more colourful at the weekend, firstly because I have more time & secondly because my work is so formal that loud eyeshadow probably wouldn’t go down too well with my boss :o)
I usually do neutral or smokey eyes for work (I once did bright green and gold and people kept looking at me like I’d lost the plot all day) and then get my rainbow colours out at the weekend.

I usually wear minimal makeup on weekends, but it largely depends on where I’m going. I like to go easy on makeup for weekends just to let my skin breathe. If I’m just going to the local, outdoors-y shopping center, I’ll pile on moisturizer and sunscreen, dust powder lightly, fill in my brows, smooth on a cheek stain and tap some blush on my cheeks. I’ll also pat Painterly paint pot on my lids and dot lipgloss on my lips. Usually on weekdays I wear natural makeup to class, but on weekends I’ll go even more natural. I’m an avid fan of the “you, but better” look.

However, if I end up going to parties or trendier malls, it’s an entirely different story.

Right now, I’m wearing Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Powder Foundation, The Body Shop Lip & Cheek Stain, Revlon Blush in Love That Pink, MAC Well Dressed blush (me and Well Dressed go way back. It was my first ever MAC product! My mom actually picked it out for me.), Painterly on lids, and Wonderstruck lustreglass on lips. I just bought Wonderstruck this morning, and I love it. I did not like the MA, though. Kind of unhelpful.

Depends all on how I’m feeling and how much time I have. Today I have on foundation, concealer and blot powder. The gold color of my Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Bronze for eyeshadow, LashExact mascara and a gold Lipgelee(forget the name).

It depends for me on what I’m doing and where I’m going. I traveled via plane today from CA to OK so I went minimum on the makeup – powder foundation, a little blush, and some neutral lipstick.

I like to play with my makeup on the weekend and if i like it i will wear it during the week. So its always a fun time in the morning of saturday and sunday:)

I may “kick it up a notch” on weekends if I’m going out, but I wear makeup everyday – it’s just like brushing my hair or my teeth – it’s a given! My inspiration for the day may come from a magazine, website or my wardrobe, but it’s the way I express my creativity.

If I’m going out, I tend to do bolder looks than I do during the work week. For example, on Friday night, I used the Heatherette Trio 1 – which is something I would never wear to work. But Saturday night, I used some shadows from the N Collection. So I guess there’s not much rhyme or reason either, LOL. I prefer doing more fun & bright looks on the weekends since I generally don’t get to during the week. But sometimes I’m lazy or not in the mood.
