I absolutely *cannot* live without:

1) MAC 187 – I use this for applying my Studio Fix Fluid, Stick Foundation AND MSF.
2) MAC 239 – I use this daily for e/s application.
3) Nars Large Domed Eye – To blend e/s
4) MAC 150 – For powder.
5) MAC 311 – I know this is really suppose to be a lip brush, but I use it as an eyeliner brush for my fluidline =)

How do you find using the 187 for powder and liquids work? I got sick of having one brush matted from the liquid, so I got two myself.

Oh, I use lip brushes for eye purposes all th etime, Jenny!

1. Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow
2. Bobbi Brown Eyeliner
3. Bobbi Brown Concealer/Blender
4. MAC 224
5. Sonia Kashuck Foundation

not in order
1. benefit hard angled brush for my browzing (i have very sparse brows
2. benefit get bent eyeliner brush for mmy fluidlines
3. mac 239 for my eyes
4. mac pencil (my number got rubbed off 219??) to deepen the crease
5. urban behaviour powder brush. softest thing ever!

mac 187
mac 150
l/c maxine mop
l/c angle brush
mac 217
japonesque brow brush

these i use everyday, even when travelling. other brushes are not so important. i do want to try the mac kabuki brush but have to save up for that. maybe when mac launches their mineral powder foundation, i might have to get that.

right now I’m loving:
all MAC
187 – foundation
182 – blush/ face powder blending
224 – blending eyeshadow
222 – best crease brush ever
239 – shadow applicator

wow. five that’s it. this will be hard but let me try:

Mac 208 for my liquid eyeliner
MAC 217 for blending eyeshadow
MAC 224 for blending as well (i know you’re not a big fan of this christine but it works well with my flashtronic and antiquitease mineralized eyeshadows)
MAC239 for setting eyeshadow
ELF brush that i use to spread my pencil eyeliner (for bottom and top)

p.s. good luck on your exam christine. i finished mine last week and it feels good to be free! happy holidays!

my stylistics blush brush (I forget the number) from MAC it really is the softest brush ever!
MAC 231 for eyeliner
MAC 213 for eyeshadow
Bare Escentials full coverage kabuki for foundation and mineral powder

oups I forgot my angle brush for eyebrows…I thought it was a MAC brand but looking closer I reaslized it wasn’t. Totally not sure what brand it is…but its really stiff and perfect for my brows.

MAC 209 for fluidline
MAC 129 for face powder and sheer blushes
MAC 187 for pigmented blushes and blush creme
Flirt eyeshadow brush (kind of like the 224)for every kind of e/s application (crease, lid, highlight)
MAC 252 for paint pots

Lately these are the brushes that I use often:

208 – for eyebrows
213 – for eyeshadow
217 – for blending and highlight

Of course there are still more brushes I use in my make-up routine but for the really basic stuff I can just make do with these.

MAC 187 – Foundation
Smashbox #1 – powder/blush/highlighter
Smashbox #3 – eyeshadow
Stila #28 – smudge and line (gel eyeliner)
Smashbox #18 – lip brush (gotta have a lip brush for all those red lippies…)
