I love my Mac 239 brush – it’s great! I also use a few Jemma Kidd brushes (depth brush for crease, brush for highlighting brow bone), Body Shop brush for blending, big powder brush and a Clinique blusher brush.

Every morning routine….

190 (moisturiser), 187 (liquid foundation), 150 (powder on liquid foundation), 217 (for eyeshadow) and/or 266 (fluidline), 168 (contour cheeks with emote), 182 (blush).

I love the 239 for packing colour but I rarely have time to do that… so I use the 217 as my all around eyeshadow brush since it blends beautifully! =D

Sonia Kashuk brushes for the eyes (small/large eyeshadow brush, and blending brush)
MAC 266 (with fluidline)
MAC 109, I fell in love with this brush! Even though it’s a small contour brush, I use it for my Mineralized Loose foundation. It’s really good for buffing!

I use mostly MAC, then a few from Coastal Scents, and one or two from CVS brand. From MAC I use 217 and 182 with every application. I use the spoolie and the brow brush from CS with each app as well. I a small crease brush and a large crease brush from CVS that I use on occasion.

MAC 187 or 109 for foundation (Studio Fix Fluid NC25)
MAC 134 blush
MAC 168 contour
MAC 252 eyeshadow and paintpot
MAC 208 fluidline
…and also can u recommend me a perfect crease brush??.. i think the 224 its sooo big for my eyes.. im thinking 217 or 222…

Jessica Avatar

219 is really good to help define the crease. If 224 is a little too big you might want to go with 222. I rarely use my 217 for the crease but it works (but it’s as big as 224 in my opinion).

Cant thank my sweet hubs enough for getting me my first brush set from MAC few Christmases ago.

I don’t think I’d be able to do makeup without :

Face – 129, 187, 168 and 194
Eyes – 239 (fave of the lot!), 209 (great with the gel liner), 217 (best blending brush ever!), 219 (this is best used for smuding the lower lash line for that smoky effect), 224, 249 and 266 (great for the brows!)

Well, I plan to get the Costco brush set that comes out this year, and hopefully all three of the MAC brush sets coming out soon.. And maybe some NYX brushes and Everyday Minerals brushes..
But otherwise, I only have 4 brushes, all by SPAresources which I got at Wal-mart. They’re pretty good. 🙂
I have the concealer brush, medium eye shadow brush, small eye shadow brush, and eye contour brush, which I use all for eyes. 🙂
I need more brushes, ahahah!
