Temptalia Asks You - What are you getting from MAC's Antiquitease? (or did you!)
What are you getting from MAC’s Antiquitease Collection? (or what did you!) It’s MAC’s first holiday release this year, and I want to know what products made you fall in love at first sight! What products didn’t? (psst, it comes out today nationwide.)
Me? Not sure yet! I never really know what I want until I go in, because I have so many products I really have to touch and play everything in person to make decisions on what I should be taking home with me.
Just Gilty Kiss lipstick and Majestic lipglass, since i alread have a big list.
Majestic is gorgeous!
All the mineralize eyeshadows and maybe 2 eyeshadow palettes.
Oh, what a haul that’ll be!
I just came back from the M.A.C counter with a surprising haul. I got Silversmith, Family Silver and Uppity. Of those three, only Silversmith was planned! Family Silver and Uppity blew me away with how pretty they were in person. The pictures do not do them justice.
Sadly, I had to leave Gilty Kiss and Your Ladyship at the counter. Oh woe is me, a starving student!

Im very scared because i always end up getting more that what was originally on my list. My must have list is: mi’lady, engaging, queen’s sin , red romp, all 3 pigments and uppity. Im trying to reassure that its ok because so far i dont seem to want any of the pallettes or brush sets
oops actually i just remembered i was planing on getting the lipglass and pigments sets , im in trouble now
I checked out this collection last week and liked it more than I thought I would. I only ended up getting Mi’Lady because the colors are amazingly intense and I wanted some of the lippies too….

Engaging Shadow duo!
I thought that one was quite pretty!
Just came back from my local MAC counter and used my birthday giftcard–picked up Sweet Sienna and Gold Stroke pigments, and Engaging and Earthly Riches eyeshadow duos.
Used up the whole gift card–aye yai yai! Next week–Keepsake and Viva Glam lip palettes, and just wait for the mini sets. lol awesome but expensive.

i got:
Sweet Sienna (im a sucker for pigments), the other two were not very original colors! I still tried convincing myself I needed the other two but I only ended up with the one and Im Happy!
Uppity its a very pretty gold! I have molten sol but I dont think they are similar
Mi’Lady I think it is such prettty colors and that red is very unique!
I’m a pigment gal, too! I got all three.

I brought Molten Sol to the counter to compare it to Uppity. They aren’t even close! Molten Sol is more of a dark coppery/gold and Uppity is a clean mid gold.
Yep, they are definitely different enough to have both!
Well I wont know for sure until Im there but my temp wishlist includes: all three pigments, mi lady, engaging, queens sin, red romp, trifle, & uppity 🙂

For now… Queen’s Sin, Antiquitease, Red Romp, all three pigments, Silversmith and Gold Veneer. The “maybe” pile includes Mi’Lady, Earthly Riches, Family Silver and Uppity. Depends on whether or not I get the funds for it all. Heh.
Isn’t Gold Veneer gorgeous? I thought it was so lovely, but I am a sucker for gold anything.

Earthly Riches. Blended together, the colors make the most beautiful gray, I’m in love.
Question: the mineralize shadows are wider than the regular ones, and they have a rounded top…are they also deeper than regular shadows? or are they not as deep as they appear? Just trying to figure out how much actual product is in the pot.

I don’t really know that answer, Carrie. I think there is about the same, if not a bit more, product. You might want to check the weight – that’s the product weight to compare to an eyeshadow!

I’m really loving this collection! I seen the collection in person and got a majority of it but some of your swatches are making me lem some of the other lipglasses and lipsticks now as they didn’t look like that upon seeing them and I didn’t bother to swatch!

I’m loving Mi’ Lady at the moment as a favorite and you had said it you were slightly disappointed it wasn’t the red you hoped for! I agree but it was a surprising twist of awesome that’s for sure!
I can’t wait to play around more with these!
You always gotta swatch! That’s how you can decide. It’s hard for me to buy anything without swatching it – especially lipsticks and shadows. I don’t like sheer products, ha.
I normally just look with my eyes because I get shy to actually swatch the product on my hand. I feel like I’m doing the product a disservice lol!
I gotta say some of the swatches actually look great when I seen them they didn’t look so fab!

I’m such a swatch girl 😉 I’ll have to check out the Givenchy and Guerlain collections in person if I can, maybe I’ll be more swayed to buy them if I do!
