Maybelline Colossal Mascara in Glam Black, it’s basically my HG, and Loreal Lineur Intense Liquid Liner! It’s amazing, and super easy to use!

Maybelline Volum’ Express turbo boost WP mascara, Maybelline watershine pure lipstick in Nudie Mocha,Revlon colorstay pencil liner & Revlon super lustrous lipgloss in Cherries in the Glow.

I use L’oreal mascara – the waterproof ones. This is the only mascara which holds my lash curled (after curling it with tool). I tried others, like Mac fibre rich, but very soon my lashes are all straight

Maybelline Colossal Mascara and I like the texture of the watershines lipsticks … but too many tints have glitter in them, that I dislike.

I absolutely agree!! GOSH products are amazing. I don’t know where to get them in the States though, currently I’m in Europe and that’s how I get my fix ๐Ÿ™‚

in the uk you can buy them in the high street branch of superdrug or there website superdrug.com!! and currently they have 3 for 2 on xx

Maybeline Pure makeup! it’s great for when you want a light coverage look! I also like that it’s 50% water. I also loooove Avon cream eyeshadow trios!! they make awesome bases!!!

Ok I know how you feel. I’m the same way. You should try Laura Mercier Oil Free tinted moisturizer. It won’t break you out and it makes your skin look perfect. Now if you want even more coverage then try Laura Mercier mineral foundation powder. This also won’t break you out at all (BTW, this is my favorite). Hope it works for you.

Thanks so much! Do you have any recs on a fuller coverage liquid? i know i should be wearing powder b/c i hve oily skin but i just prefer liquid!

maybe it’s because there are counters of Lancome in some drugstores. At least they have them in London drugs in Vancouver here..

I also love Maybelline Full ‘n Soft mascara and have a small stockpile of it. However, I’ve realized that they test on animals. Does anyone know of another mascara that goes on similar to Full ‘n Soft?

I swear by Clinique’s Naturally Glossy Mascara, it is a bit more costly, but it gives very soft, natural lashes.

I cant find any drugstores that carry NYX! its all NYC and i dont like that brand ๐Ÿ™ i know i can order online but it would be nice to see it in person. ( i live in Los Angeles)

unfortunately my answer is NONE. every drugstore item i have bought, whether it be mascara, liner, eyeshadow, powder, lipstick, etc., i have used once or twice, then thrown in the garbage. no “MUST HAVE” drugstore item for me ๐Ÿ™

Covergirl LashBlast Mascara, Wet ‘n’ Wild Creme Eyeleiner and Loreal HIP Creme Eyeliner in black…must haves…great finds!

CoverGirl Tru Blend is my HG foundation and their LashBlast in black/brown is my HG mascara. I do still try other brands once in a while just in case, but so far nothing has wowed me more (some were as good, but more $$)

i can’t live without loreal double extend beauty tubes mascara and max factor miracle touch foundation. when i use it with a beauty blender it gives a finish better than a lot of expensive foundations!

if they sold nyx in any drugstores by me, i’d say that but since they don’t i’m going to go with Nailtiques. formula 2 is my HG of nail strengtheners. i also really like olay moisturizers. but as for makeup, it’d have to be NONE. i stopped using drug store makeup when i could no longer find loreal mattique foundation. i loved that stuff. every time i go to the drug store i combed the aisles for products but nothing ever excites me.

Max Factor mascaras are great, no need to spend money on HE ones. Unfortunately I havenยดt found any drugstore eyeshadow with nice colour pay-off…

Not everything is good (exactly like in luxury brands!) but there are a lot of little gems among drugstore stuff! I’d hate being a snob girl saying that everything sold out of big brands is bad and deserves to be trashed. It’s totally untrue.

Here are some my favorites:
– Bourjois “Suivez mon Regard” in Bleu Swimming Pool. A loose eyeshadow exatcly like a Mac pigment. Bleu Swimming Pool has a medium blue base with a bright duochrome green reflect. Absolutely gorgeous over black paintpot.
– Bourjois “Suivez mon Regard” in Or Pรฉpite. Reflecting trasparent gold. It’s exactly like a water of gold over the skin, super luminous and transparent powder. Quite a unique effect I’ve never seen anywhere else, I love it.
– Bourjois nail polishes in general. They’re quite very good!
– Max Factor 2000 calories mascara is not bad at all. I have to purchase it online because it’s not available in France but it’s worth, imo.
– Debby Extra black 100% Volume mascara. 6โ‚ฌ and it makes a decent job.
– Agnรจs b. Khรดl extra black. Actually far better than the Dior Khรดl (that’s pretty much everything I’d keep from Agnรจs b, the rest is sadly full of garbage nowadays – I used to love this brand so much when I was a teenager).

I also own a baby pink shimmery powder from Yves Rocher released some years ago. I no longer can remember the name. A true little beauty and a fabulous effect on the cheeks at small price.

– Eau de Bleuet Christian Lenart. Simply a cornflower water sold in Monoprix. Cornflower water rules.

I love fiding good things everywhere. ๐Ÿ™‚

Covergirl LashBlast Mascara, Loreal Collogen induced mascara, Milani eyeliner in black and Milani lip liner in nude

Most of them test on animals so I don’t really buy anything, while more expensive brands usually don’t (I’ve checked, believe me).

I feel the same way as you. Although I have read in several places that the Proctor and Gamble company (Cover Girl and Olay and anything Clariol) has ceased testing on animals except when required by law. Unfortunately the law requires testing on “active” ingredients.

Covergirl Lashblast mascara and surprisingly Acne Free skincare. I accidentally forgot my makeup bag when I went on vacation and had to have something. My skin looks great and it’s only around $20. And to think I’ve spent thousands on Sisley, La Mer, etc!

I love Loreal HIP jelly balms! I go through so many of them. ๐Ÿ™‚
And Loreal’s new liquid pencils (regular and from the HIP line) are soooo good. They glide on so incredibly smooth and don’t smear on me.

me too! I looooooooooove their HIP Jelly Balms!! These are so moisturizing and non-sticky…more like…buttery and smell yummy too!!! they’re a perfect drugstore brand gloss for me. I don’t know why the word isn’t so “out there” on this great product :/

i love these too! they’re really great because even after the glossiness fades, there’s still pigmentation left on your lips. i adore succulent!

1)Rimmel sexy curves mascara black intense best ever masacara i have used
2)Rimmel Lasting Finish 16Hr foundation
3)ASDA(walmart) clear masacra (i use it for eyebrows and its only ยฃ1)
4)ELF conclear in light even thought im asian skintoned(nc40 for MAC)
5)ELF all over cover stick(used for foundation) colour light! and the medium one for concelar

Loreal HIP eyeshadows, MaxFactor mascaras, Styli-style eyeliner (good dupe for MUFE Waterproof eyeliner)

Sally Hansen nail strengthener and top coat
Tweezerman eyebrow tweezers
Vichey 3-in-1 milk cleanser
Neutrogena deep cleanser (I think thatโ€™s what itโ€™s called)
Clearasil acne treatment in invisible
Those little cotton balls and flat disc cotton pads ๐Ÿ™‚

St. Ives apricot scrub, CG LashExact and LashBlast mascaras, Carmex lip balm, Queen Helene Mint Julep mask…

CG lash blast (though I am concerned with animal testing as well), revlon colorstay foundation (since most h/e foundations give me terrible breakouts), burt’s bees lip balm.

Cover Girl Lash Blast is best mascara I’ve ever used.

I’m not a big drugstore makeup person but alot of my hair & body products are drugstore items.

Lash Blast and L’Oreal Voluminous mascaras. They’re definitely a drugstore staple for me. Maybelline Moisture Extreme lipstick in Nude Blush is a pretty nude peachy-pink color that I like, too.

I’m about to buy the second batch of my faves: Neutrogena Pore Refining cleanser which smoothes my skin without leaving it dry AND combats zits, Garnier Skin Renew Daily Regenerating CREAM – not the lotion! – in the green jar, which fills fine lines and softens skin until you can’t tell whether its your face or beige silk. ๐Ÿ˜€ I’m about to try L’Oreal HIP Black Kohl with that skincare haul, too, since I heard good things about the staying power.

UPDATE: MAN, the Kohls are FANTASTIC! Soo pigmented and smooth and easy to apply. I know some have complained that the applicator is awful and needle-like, but I smash it on the back of my hand and it softens it right up! I’ve yet to find the waterline/lashline wearability, but I’ve worn it for 2 hours so far and it’s still exactly the same as when I first applied it. I’ll be out until around nine so I’ll tell if it’s still there in another two hours! ๐Ÿ™‚

loreal volumious mascara in carbon black… (only mu item) otherwise I love cheapie nail polishes like wnw, sh and nyc

-Neutrogena makeup remover pads
-Volume Exact Mascara from Maybelline
-L’Oreal HIP shadows
-Nyx shadows

Rimmel’s Glam Eyes Mascara in Extreme Black, Maybelline The Colossal Volume Express in Glam Black, NYX Trio eyeshadow palettes, Ardell False Eyelashes in 116 and Wet n Wild nailpolishes ( but unfortunately I can’t seem to find Wet n Wild nailpolishes in major pharmacies anymore. BOO!) Oh and I also really love Maybelline Turbo Booster Mascara too.

NYX eyeshadows and lipsticks. So cheap & great colors! L’oreal mascara and Rimmel blush are great items too.

– Max Factor false lash effect mascara
– L’oreal true match minerals powder foundation
– Bourjois eyepencils

I love Full n’ Soft as well ๐Ÿ™‚
Also, Neutrogena Norwegian Formula hand cream and Neutrogena sensitive skin sunblock lotion. Every chemical sunblock makes my face BUUURN and this is the only sunscreen I’ve found that doesn’t do that because there’s only physical sunscreens in it. Yay!

I have not purchased any beauty products in a long time from a drugstore. I used to only buy my beauty products at Target or Walgreens. My friend introduced me to high end brands and that was pretty much the end of that!

The last time I bought lipgloss from Revlon I was really disappointed and just threw it in the trash. It reminded me why I stopped buying from specific brands or even bother looking. I do like the face wipes and almost bought some at Target the other day but then I researched around to see if high end brands make them as well ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m sure w/some the difference is small or none at all.

I love my boots oil/combo skin night time moisturizer! I’ve already used 3 bottles and that brand hasn’t even been available that long in the US!

I also have to say I can’t go without Maybelline’s Full N’ Soft mascara. I rarely ever try any other brand now because not only is this perfect, but so much more cost effective.

I love L’Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes. It is the only masacara that does not flake or smudge at all.

I also use Aveeno skin products (when I am not trying something new!). I like their ultra-calmiing cleanser and moistureizer and their Skin Brightening Daily Scrub.

The only drugstore brands i will buy are Physicians Formula, GOSH or Almay, as they are hypoallergenic, cruelty free and don’t cause burning or breakouts on my face. I like the quality of them as well.
Almay’s One Coat Thickening mascara is my everyday go-to.

Shoppers Drug Mart has some stores that carry high end makeup as well so I don’t miss out on much ๐Ÿ™‚

My must have drug store beauty products are:

-Foundation sponges! (forgot the brand but IMO they’re better than the ones sold at MAC)

-St. Ives Apricot scrub, I usually use this everyday or every other day, LOVE LOVE LOVE.

-Carmex Lip Balm (used it as a child, great great stuff, but had to get used to the scent, lol)

-NYX Blusher, l/s, e/s, jumbo pencils ๐Ÿ™‚

-Rimmel Sexy Curves mascara

-Burt’s bees lip shimmers

-L.A. Splash pigments/glitters (good stuff! sold for $2.50/ea at my local drugstore compared to the $5 – $6 online, yay!)

-Maybelline waterproof mascara (pink tube w/ black cap)

-Sally Hansen’s Hard as Nails polish ๐Ÿ™‚

-Clean & Clear morning burst face wash (Green or Orange wash)

loreal carbon liquid liner with the felt tip , it my favorite liqid liner besides mac and i use it the most………i hear tht they might discontinue them…is that true????????

Aveeno Positively Radiant Tinted Moisturizer and all of the products in the La Roche Posay skincare brand (esp the Toleriane line for really sensitive skin)

Also love all those Brucci Nail Hardener nail polishes (I’m wearing the Plain Black on my fingernails)! They’re cheap and well-pigmented.

These are my favorite drugstore products:

1) Neutragena Eye Makeup Remover
2) Physicians Formula Baked Trio in Baked Sands (my everyday look)
3) Maybelline the Collosal Volume Express Mascara
4) Max Factor 2000 calorie lash

I really want to try Revlon’s Colorstay foundation for dry-combination skin.

My mascara are all from the drugstore. I love Maybelline mascara but my favorites are Full N’ Soft and Define-a-Lash Length one. And I buy my Loreal Hip Jelly Balms.

Maybelline Line Stylist eyeliner in onyx. It gives me the most precise, absolute blackest line. Great for a mod look.

My HG mascara used to be MaxFactor 2000 calorie, but apparently they’ve stopped distributing it in North America. I’ve seen the ‘updated’ version called 3000 calorie in Hong Kong.
I tend to buy only drug store mascaras and eyeliners as I go through those rather quickly and there’s just SO MANY new ones that come out that I just can’t stick to one brand! I’m on a mission to find an eyeliner to replace my beloved MAC technakohl.
Heard so many good things about Lash Blast, gotta try that one out next!
So sad that NYX is not sold in Canada

The only thing I like from a drugstore is Covergirl’s Wetslick fruit flavored gloss. It is less sticky than Lancome’s Juicy Tubes and like $15 cheaper.

i live in the drugstore makeup section! i love Loreal Hip Duos…i think i have most of them…i like their cream liners too…

for foundation i like revlon colorstay with softflex…this foundation gives me the most natural look…i also like revlon matte lipsticks and their lipglosses especially pink pursuit! i also love revlon’s matte eyeshadows…they are super pigmented

for mascara…i love maybelline colossal…it makes my lashes super long and super thick

why do people have such a distaste for DS makeup…i hate when people on makeup blogs or forums are like i hate all ds makeup none of it is good…that’s not true…they are just to uppity to shop for makeup in a DS…there’s plenty of cheap stuff that are good quality
