As of lately? Splurge is not even a word in my vocabulary. I might get a little something every few weeks…but it a LITTLE something. lol. We have to tighten the budget.

You know I look at videos on Youtube and I see these hauls that I know cost more than $200!! I wish I could spend that kind of money on beauty products….but I can’t. So when I do get a little bit of change in my pocket and try and spend no more than $50-$75 dollars a month or every two months.

After moving, and really taking stock of what I own in beauty products….I am not going to be splurging any more…because I DO NOT need anything! Seriously 57 bottles of lotion? INSANE! 98 tubes of glosss? GAH….my spluring needs to do on a diet.

I’ve been splurging quite a lot lately, but before November it had probably been a year since I’d bought anything other than a new mascara. So I don’t feel too guilty about it. I think it’s just that time of year where there are a lot of good deals and hard to resist offers. Plus, if I splurge on beauty products, I’ll limit my spending elsewhere (clothing, coffee, eating out).

I splurge quite a lot. I just spent $185 this morning alone and I am no where near done with what I need to get, which doesn’t even include the Dame Edna collection coming out at the end of the month.

I am really having to make lists of stuff. If I don’t I just go into the store and spend. I need to go in with a list so that I can actually get the stuff I need.

My latest spend is brushes. Just got the 182 Couture edition and now I must own every other brush by MAC.

Splurging for me is spending over sixty bucks at one time, and i usually do that about every 3 or 4 months, but I also buy alot of little things here and there that probably add up to sixty or seventy bucks. But on NARS and Chanel type of products about every three months.

I have spent a lot of money lately on Ebay, but also in stores. I live in a small town, so don’t have much chance to buy cosmetics here (only drugstore brands like Maybelline, L’Oreal, etc.) and I don’t get away much at the weekends to do much shopping. That’s why I use the internet so much nowadays, and I usually spend in the region of $750 a month! (OMG that’s too much when I write it down!). Must cut down.

I WAS supposed to be on a tight budget, and I did pretty good until November rolled around and everyone had their ff sales, and sephora emailed those 15 off 35 coupons too. Now I feel really bad for having no restraint. Worst part? My birthday’s next week and I already went on like 3 splurges, I have nothing left to buy, well I do (there’s always SOMETHING new to buy!). I think I’ll switch it up and gift myself clothes……maybe. 😉

I have a budget of $100 a week of “walking around” money and a good chunk of that goes on beauty products – I usually get a couple of things every two weeks or so. I have a big blowout and spend heaps every six months or so though!
But I have successfully curtailed the “See it, wnat it, buy it NOW!” impulse and will wait for a week or so – then, if I’m still thinking about it, I’ll go back and get it.

Whenever I’m at the mall and see something I like. I can’t usually NOT get something if I want it… But I haven’t had a reason to go to the mall in the last few weeks (final exams and work… I’ve been busy!) but I’m going tomorrow 🙂 Hoping to look at some Monogram items! And I’m really wanting the Mehron palettes right now!

But to answer your question: Whenever I see something I can’t go without!

I think a lot of girls buy outside their means these days. I am all for spending and slurgging as long as you have the money…

My opinion is: if you pay for it on your credit card and don’t pay it off within the time allowed, you don’t actually ‘own’ your haul. When you pay off you credit card in full you actually ‘own’ your stuff.

I am quite ashamed of myself…as I am into that retail therapy thing, except it’s makeup only therapy. I think I spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars for the last two months on it….I gotta stop I know….

Depends on what you call a splurge, I try to get myself a little something every paycheck. I gotta tell you though, Dollar Tree, Big Lots, & T.J. Maxx are my best friends. I love coming out of Dollar Tree with a great haul, I can get my cravings fulfilled there for under $20.00 most of the time. I too am doing alot more shopping on the internet though. Glad to see I’m not the only obsessed shopaholic out there with a million of each thing! Yeah, I gotta stop too, but that is not going to happen!!!

It was an occasional thing. I got myself in hot water ever since 6 months ago. Now, I’ve got no money in me bank and I rarely splurge. I learned my lesson and my empty pockets. But those holiday gift sets tickle me badly!
