I’m interested to hear how these preform. Especially the circle pans, I have the Tarteist pro palette and the (shimmer) circle pans are all around very lackluster and disappointing.

Someone who is all about the sparkle could take this row by row and have four really daring looks, with a real challenge awaiting them in the last row. It would take nerves of steel, I think, but I’d sure love to see someone give it a shot. 🙂

“Create” looks amazing in the arm swatches, BTW.

Is it weird that I wasn’t tempted by this palette until I read this challenge? Well, I took it as a challenge, anyway……….

I haven’t had good luck with Tarte eyeshadow in the past, so I’m unlikely to buy this, but now I’m almost sad about it. 🙂

I’d probably do something like:
pink – inner upper lid
purple – outer upper lid
gold – crease
red – deepen upper outside corner / outside crease, outer lower (smudged as liner)
silver – inner lower (smudged as liner)

Yesssss! On second look, what I took to be a silver is actually that duochrome a few brands do, red-brown against sharksilver green — Urban Decay “Lounge,” Colourpop “Wishful Thinking,” etc. I have a BareMinerals dupe somewhere.

Anyway, makes me think it’d be that much easier to blend into the red for the lashline! … hint, hint. :}

You know, I was so against this, because I don’t want to reward Tarte for releasing ONE pretty color palette when 99% of their palettes are brown and nude (though you could say buying it would encourage them to do more of these) and it’s so scattered (reminds me of the KVD palette that people were too confused to use because the colors aren’t in a placement that makes any sense) and the background, while cute, takes away from it a lot. But these swatches are REALLY beautiful. But then, they’re press release ones, they’re built up, etc. So I’ll wait for your swatches because those are always the best!

This is a hard pass for me simply because of the packaging. It doesn’t appeal to me at all. I can’t appreciate the colors of the shadows with all the splotches of paint in the background.

Tarte? And color? Wow it’s been at least 87 years since I’ve seen Tarte branch out into actual color. This palette looks promising, I hope it performs well.

Z Avatar

There are a handful of shades in this palette I don’t care about and wouldn’t use (yellow, pink, orange), but overall I really like Tarte’s shadow formula and this looks really appealing.

Jane Avatar

Almost looks like an Urban Decay palette (style) dupe. I can’t see needing any of these colors, but for those who only use Tarte palettes and thus are finally coming into my (our) world of color, duo chrome and pop, then I’m happy for them.

I am definitely intrigued… but am disappointed with the one Tarte palette I own (that everyone raves about) so not sure if this is something I would actually get. I have a lot of similar shades with my excessive UD collection. A few of these are very pretty and a bit different from what I have and if they perform incredibly well then who am I to say no to colorful shimmer 🙂 Can’t wait for reviews.
