Meh, all of Tarte’s palettes seem to have the same neutral shades and that Park Ave Princess bronzer seems to be in every palette

I know what you mean! I think the palette seems nice enough for someone who needs neutrals (not me though). And Park Ave Princess to Tarte is Laguna to Nars… It would’ve been nice to see another blush, or different bronzer.

Alex Avatar

It does seem to be the Laguna of the Tarte line.

You’d think a palette called “Empower Flower” would have colors reminiscent of flowers instead of the neutrals.

At least when you buy a NARS palette, you know you’ll at least get new eyeshadow shades! Tarte just recycles the exact same shades & renames them…

I’m a sucker for Tarte palettes and they’re coming out with so many beautiful looking ones this spring/summer! How am I ever going to decide which one(s) to get?

Halley Avatar

I am usually a fan of blush and eye shadow in the same palette but this looks to big to really be useful. What a weird shape! Maybe if they cut it in half and sold me a shadow and/or a blush palette I’d be more into this, but for that big honker, I’m going to pass.

I was thinking the same thing! Even the new round spring palette has park ave princess. They need to come up with different bronzer shades or include a blush instead.

I think the idea is to have everything in one palette, and since there is only the one bronzer shade, it gets included. Personally, I prefer my face products separate from my eyeshadows, as I don’t typically like the blush shades included in most. I’m more disappointed in the fact tarte literally uses the exact same eyeshadow colors, but simply rename them. At least PAP is a shade I’d wear, and if the eyeshadows were worth picking up, the inclusion of the bronzer wouldn’t bother me.

Even though I LOVE Tarte and I just got the other 2 palettes that were released, I think I am passing up on this one. Unless there is a 15% off sale happening somewhere soon, LOL J/K…. No but seriously it is not attracting me. If I get another neutral palette it might be the Kat Von D shade + light eye palette

BonnieBBon Avatar

Wow, I don’t really like this one either. At least it doesn’t give me childhood smelly shag carpet flashbacks like the new round one did lol

Nice, but I think I’ve got these kinds of colors covered with my other Tarte palettes. It looks like it will be huge in size. I love the floral pattern on the packaging.
