I can get a little drier or at least, more prone to dryness, during the winter months, so if I’m drier, then I often reach for more medium coverage and less matte foundations.
I look at what time I have available and whether it is reasonable that I would be able to review/use it in a timely fashion!

I like tapered highlighting brushes overall, and ones I reach for often are: Hakuhodo B5521BkSL (also have other hair variations of this one), Chikuhodo Z-4, Wayne Goss Brush 10, Wayne Goss Brush 14. I usually pat the highlighter along the tops of my cheekbones and then lightly sweep to blend.
