Have you enjoyed the slow down of new product releases?

Have you enjoyed the slow down of new product releases?

Mostly! It’s a little weird not having as much “must review” items at a given time, but it has given me more room to explore new brands or to review brands that aren’t as high of a priority.

How do you feel about product pre-orders?

How do you feel about product pre-orders?

I don’t mind them, and for indie brands, it is sometimes easier to go in knowing that you won’t get it for awhile but you’ve locked in your place. I’d rather not have to get up in the middle of the night for a launch! I do think it’s important to try not to take on “too much,” and...

Does shipping cost or speed determine where you purchase products from (online)?

Does shipping cost or speed determine where you purchase products from (online)?

Absolutely! I prefer free shipping, but I’m more willing to pay $5-$10 for shipping if it’s going to be substantially faster. Sometimes, “free shipping” can end up taking almost two weeks!

How do you organize your complexion/base products?

How do you organize your complexion/base products?

This is one category of products that has some of the weakest organization in my stash! I keep some of my favorites in my vanity drawer, while the formulas I currently reach for the most are on top of the vanity. I keep my shades in various formulas in open bins on a near-by storage unit, but I find...

If you had to get rid of three products right now, what would they be?

If you had to get rid of three products right now, what would they be?

NARS Air Matte Blushes, NARS Air Matte Liquid Lipsticks, Sydney Grace Pistol Loose Pigment. They’re already in the bin of things to give away (to family/friends).

Do you like the trend of smaller eyeshadow palettes?

Do you like the trend of smaller eyeshadow palettes?

I love seeing smaller palettes! I think it’s a nice way to try different brands, color stories, and not have to spend a ton on of money. It takes so long to finish an eyeshadow, even smaller sizes (like 0.03 oz.), and even if I was someone who did finish, I’d prefer to buy a fresh replacement...
