It’s not a formula I use very often, though I really love the look and inky quality it can have on the eyes!

They’re my preferred eyeliner formula! I like that they take awhile to get through, and they seem to come in an assortment of colors and finishes. The downside are whenever you’ve found a great formula performance-wise but then it ends up prone to drying out too quickly over time!

As long there’s enough binder with the highlighter base so that the glitter disperses evenly and doesn’t fallout immediately, I’m good! I love some sparkle 🙂 Unfortunately, a lot of glittery highlighters have larger particle sparkle/glitter that just doesn’t stick to the skin.

I do appreciate the utility and what matte eyeshadows bring to the table, but I really, really love shimmery eyeshadow–especially sparkly metallics or smoother, shinier metallic shades. The only time I dislike them are when formulas are too thick/stiff or when they emphasize fine lines/lid texture.

I love the depth it can add to a look, and I think you can get a lot of intensity, too, that isn’t always possible with shimmer. The downsides is that matte eyeshadows are often not as blendable as shimmery shades or they can be too powdery/too stiff.

I find matte blush tends to be harder to blend out and can stick/adhere too strongly in places over bare skin or foundation unless I’ve set my foundation first, which isn’t my preferred method!

They can be drier and harder to blend or more reactive to any lingering moisture on my skin (bare skin, foundation, etc.), so they’re not my favorite. I prefer a semi-matte/satin finish.

I think they put out a lot of eyeshadow shades that are underrepresented by most brands (whether singles or not), and it’s a shame that their quality isn’t more consistent.

I love their promotional imagery so much; I feel like they take and share a lot of their shots, which reflect a diverse selection of models. Their more recent releases have become more consistent (and better), though they still are weaker with eye products.

I think the brand has a lot of great formulas that are fairly consistent from release to release, but they’ve definitely gotten to a point where they seem to repeat themselves often and have become less innovative over time.
