Out of all of these I surprisingly love the Navy color the best, even though when I think of it I don’t think I’ve ever worn a navy eye shadow! These are all gorgeous, though 🙂
Really! No navy? You should try one sometime 🙂
that bright metallic blue!
It is very bold!
Four posts about MUFE Artist Shadows in one day? I felt dizzy and happy with so many swatches all at once.
Finally a darker navy blue. I love blackened blues.
Will purchase NAVY BLUE, PEACOCK and GARNET BLACK by tomorrow.
Awesome! Hope you’re loving your Artist Shadows 🙂
Yeah, I absolutely love my Mufe Artist Shadows and I’m definitely obsessed by the new range just as you. I have Black Diamond, Black Purple, Black Gold, Golden Khaki, Reptile, Olive Gray, Saphire, Peacock Blue, Azure Blue and Blue Cedar. And I’ll purchase Pine Green, Navy Blue, Peacock and Garnet Black by tomorrow (I’m still deciding if I purchase Pink Granite or not).
This year I became a more passionate fan of Make Up Forever because of the new cream blushes and these new eyeshadows.
And I OWE IT ALL TO YOU. Thank you very much for your hard job, high commitment, for your high level of overall professionalism, for your integrity, dignity, wisdom, respect, fairness, transparency, honesty, reliability. Thanks a lot for your impartiality, independence, responsibility and rigour. Many thanks for being so attentive, polite, kinda, courteous, engaging.
I feel forever grateful to you for everything!
Oh my goodness! I am overwhelmed with gratitude and humbleness from your incredibly kind words. I don’t even know what to say… Thank you so much for your kindness, but more importantly, thank you for your trust and continued readership. You can bet I will be saving this comment and coming back to it whenever I need a little boost 🙂
ME700 Amber keks catching my eye but I’m sure there are dupes. 😉
More than likely, lol!
Thanks so much Christine for doing this, I am a big fan of the new range and when you go to sephora, they don’t always have the entire range. So now I can easily shortlist the ones I want and order online 😀
Yay! Happy to help, Shivani 😀
I’m adding to my list of Navy blue, peacock and golden brown. So gorgeous. I hope they sell them in Australia.
I hope they will, too!
I think that’s the prettiest Navy I’ve ever seen. Almost a midnight blue. Garnet Black and Frosted Pink are beautiful. Again, I love them all.
Christine, how would you say Peacock compares to Too Faced Petals to the Metal? I have Petals, but I think the MUFE looks greener? Or are they pretty similar? Thanks.
I don’t think I have that shade (I couldn’t find it on Temptalia when I searched), but it seems to be the standard teal-red-brown duochrome, and MUFE is more of a green duochrome. MAC has something similar – they have Blue Brown pigment and Green Brown pigment, similar base, both duochromes, just one is blue-teal and one is green.

Yes, Petals is definitely brown-teal. I really like Peacock, but I didn’t want to duplicate a shade I already had. I don’t have a brown-green duochrome. Thanks so much!
I will also note that I did happen to wear Peacock yesterday, and it comes out rather dark on the lid – less of the duochrome is visible – I think due to how rich/intense it is… the darkness seems to eat the duochrome more than I’d like IMO.
Oh, good to know. Thank you. Definitely need to add to my “things to try on the next time I’m at Sephora” list. This definitely would need a test run before purchase.
All pretty picks!
I love the duo chrome in Peacock! Navy, Poppy and Magma are quite beautiful too. MUFE did an excellent job with this line!
There are a lot of nice shades in the range!
That navy blue is MAC’s Contrast taken up to 20. So beautiful!
Haha! Super rich!
I have the Garnet Black. Love it.
I like the intensity of that shade!
I’m really loving peacock, silver brown, magma, poppy and garnet! So hard to choose between MUFE artist shadows! I don’t own any, but they’re definitely on my wish list! As always, thanks for the swatches! 🙂
My pleasure, Meghan! xo
You.are.somethin.else Christine!! I don’t know how you have the patience to swatch so many shadows ,photograph them etc and on a Saturday at that but has off to you and they are soooo helpful so thank you very much 🙂 Im loving golden pink and Fairly pink right now but MUFE has out done themselves with this range !!
Happy I could help, Dee! 🙂
Christine, has MUFE given a description of what each finish is supposed to be like? From the swatches, I can’t really tell the difference between the Metallic, Diamond, and Iridescent finishes at times! Any insight about the differences in these finishes? Thank you for all your hard work with all these swatches! These new eyeshadows looks gorgeous, so I think many readers must appreciate the comprehensive swatches!
I feel like they surely must have done so at some point SOMEWHERE! But I can’t recall or find it. I just double-checked the initial press release for Artist Shadow, and it just mentions the technology behind the formula. The 30th Anniversary palette release didn’t cover it either, and the included pamphlet with the 30th palette didn’t have anything on it. I checked Sephora and MUFE’s website and no luck.
Diamond is more sparkly, metallic has a smoother sheen compared to iridescent, which is most similar to your traditional frost finish to me. Satin has a low sheen, and then matte has matte. Matte shades have a totally different feel in regards to texture compared to all the other finishes–they feel like regular powder eyeshadows to me, whereas the others are denser and almost gel-like.
Thank you! Very helpful!
Navy Blue and Poppy are stunning. Not colors I’d really get my wear out of, but still very lovely.
They are lovely!
I never go for blues of any kind, but that Navy! It’s just fantastic. I want it!
Thanks again for posting all of the swatches.
MUFE has done a fantastic job with these. And si have you, swatching and taking clear and good photos of all.
Aw, thank you 🙂
Another amazing set of swatches! Peacock is a favorite for me, been wearing it a lot. Navy Blue also looks gorgeous though, and I bet it looks amazing together with Peacock.
Peacock is really pretty – tough to get, constantly sold out here!
Have been looking for the swatches thanks alot dear but I also wanted to see the swatches for matte finish eyeshadows :)) did you post it or its coming soon
I don’t have the mattes ready yet – I am missing 3 shades fro that, so I’d like to get those first. I think one of them was sold out last I checked, so I am waiting.
Wow, navy and peacock are intense!
Peacock is really rich!
If you love these colors and products please purchase from this line. Rumor is this company isn’t doing well and they may be closing stores
Interesting – hadn’t heard that before!
Will you be reviewing the matte shades as well? 😀
I hope to post once I have the time to do so, and I also need to purchase three more matte shades but last time I tried to do so, one was sold out – I won’t post until I have all of them ready, though.
Oh Christine, why must you tempt us with all these pretty eyeshadows? I own 6 (I206, I212, ME232, ME912, I918 and S838) and plan to buy the Studio case and a trio of rose/brown. Sigh. 🙂
I’m feeling a deep need right now to own and create looks with Navy and Magma 😀 Navy and deep orange is a favourite colour combination of mine, and I think these two would be super striking! Perhaps highlighted with that turquoise one at the inner corners? ;-P
Christine you are dedicated. You are certainly taking the overwhelming confusion out of purchasing for so many colors. That ME828 Garnet Black certainly beats all from this grouping for me. The garnet color almost looks like it lays separate from the black in your swatch. It really is both at the same time.
It is a lovely color – full of depth!
That Navy is niiiiiiice. If I didn’t already know how little I reach for dark blue shadows, I’d probably be wanting it badly.
(It’s weird…blue’s my favorite color, but I reach for jewel tones of purple and teal or neutrals mixed into brights for shadow.)
Poppy would make such a perfect winter blush!
Agreed!
Peacock reminds me of a shade from Wet n Wilds “Comfort Zone” palette.
There are definitely some similarities! 🙂
