Oh, Christine, every single episode of this eyeshadow saga has made me want to dump my current eyeshadows and get these instead!!! (Understand that I already have about 2 years worth of make-up to get through!!) 🙂
Hope you’re at least able to try one! 🙂
Why must I want so many of these? I see at least 5 shades that I want to add to my stash lol
Which five? 😉
Bottle Green, Pinky Copper, Creme Brulee, Frosted Peach and Fig. Love those colors!
Nice 😀
Dude, damn.. So pretty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who’s on drool patrol? Riki, I remember, had liked the green in the one MAC Simpson’s palette, and thst Apple green looks quite similar, but I’m certain better quality. I hope she found what she wanted! I’m not sure where to start… My goodness! They’re astounding! 😀
The range is really overwhelming – both in person and online (just looking at the Sephora listings)!
I keep eyeing Celestial Beige. The shade just looks so flattering and dewy. The wall they have at Sephora of these are intence. lol
When I was at the MUFE Boutique a month or two ago, I was soooo overwhelmed!
Holy cow.
These are all so beautiful. I already own one (Eggplant) and have 6 more coming to me in the mail at the moment and the price is killing me. Are they worth it? Absolutely but jesus. $3885 for 185 shadows. Giiiiirl, I hope they gave you a MAJOR discount. I understand of course this is for the website and review purposes and I truly appreciate all of your swatches and hard work but surely dropping that much cash must have made you feel slightly nauseous? I want to weep for you. I sure hope you’ve made it back in revenue from the website quick enough.
When you buy through the boutique, you can get them for $14.67~ a piece (the same price they are effectively via Sephora, but the boutique doesn’t limit or require you to buy cases to get that price). I also picked up 30 through the big palette and a few through their smaller Artist palette so that helped 🙂 Plus, I spread the purchases out over a couple of months, which makes it less daunting/scary! I buy about 50-70% of what’s featured on the blog so it’s not really new to do so. These are more of a long-term investment, as it’s a large range of permanent shades – in the way that buying and swatching through all of MAC or Inglot’s eyeshadows were – as they’ll be referred to going forward (dupes and the like) and don’t have a short window of time of usefulness. I think it will be worth it, but time will tell 🙂
So glad to hear you didn’t pay the full $21 a piece for them. I wish I could have gotten my hands on the big palette but I did get the smaller Artist palette and the formula is beautiful.
I can totally see what you mean about them being a long term investment, especially because they’re permanent. I think if they were limited edition you’d have been shooting yourself in the foot but it’s great to hear they should be useful long term.
Again, thanks so much for all that you do and taking the time to reply when you’re so busy!
Don’t give the companies ideas! Can you imagine a brand releasing 210 LIMITED EDITION eyeshadows in one go? Oh my god. The stuff of nightmares 😉
Always my pleasure, Caitlin! 🙂 The best part of blogging is interacting with readers, reading your comments and reactions to posts and whatnot.
Oh my god. That really would be horrific. Then again, MAC does it every year just slightly staggered, haha! Doesn’t feel like it though. I’ve mostly given up on them these days and just buy from other brands so as not to deal with the hype. So much easier and it’s really nice branching out finally!
True enough 😉
It is always really fun to see what other brands offer after you’ve spent awhile with just one (or a few).
I hope you’re also able to claim at least part as a business expense on your taxes. They look worth every penny you spent, either way.
Maaaaan, MUFE really did SUCH an amazing job with this collection 😀 I love love love the Artist Shadow formula. Another amazing set of swatches.
They really did!
Love love these swatches! I see a few of them being more versatile as blushes already!
Yay! 🙂
Love the Bottle Green colour. It is truly beautiful. I think I will have to get this one.
It is very pretty!
Bottle Green, Fig, Nitro Pink are my faves from this batch. But they’re all amazing. Thanks for swatching all these for us. It’s great to see how they look out of pan.
It is useful to see them swatched, I think, as the way the formula seems to work is that some finishes show up much lighter swatched than in the pan!
I deliberately ignored most of the current UD, Mac , Lorac, Anastasia, etc. assorted recent palette releases to focus on these e/s. The quality is great and I get to customize my palette for colors I actually use. What’s the point of buying a pre packaged palette if you’re not using 1/2 of the product? I have 15 of the MUFE shadows and I’m in love. I make sure to buy in the trio format to get the discount. In the Diamond finish I’m enjoying Taupe Platinum, Golden Khaki, and Golden Snake. I’m on a purchase hiatus (lol), but I have my eye on a few more.
Very true, Erica! I feel like that is often a lesson we learn after accumulating a bunch of palettes we don’t use.
Which shades do you think you’ll get next?
Fig and Bottle Green!
At the local Sephora they only had some of the collection. I stood there for ages and drooled while swatching away. It waws impossible to chose. When I finally had narrowed it down, the ones I’d decided on was out of stock.
I love seeing all the swatches. And a big thank you for getting them all. it makes it easier to decide. Not by much, but a bit eaiser.
Yes, it was very, very hard to narrow it down! I had the same issue – several I had initially picked out (from the first time) were sold out!
Bottle Green and Nitro Pink are my favourites here! 😀 The finish on the heavy swatch of Nitro Pink is incredible: it glows!
I think I’m the only person on this community that could not get these to work for me! I bought 3 with the palette a while back and found the application patchy on the two I tried. The finish did not work for me, and I tried more than a few shades, also as blushes at the counter. (Of course I always wipe off the top layer.) I love looking at most of these shades and swatching them on my hand, but they just didn’t work for me, argh!
I might go back to MUFE or Sephora and ask them to help me with some shades again.
I’m also disappointed in MUFEs shimmer lippies – soo drying.
I much prefer the texture and finish of Inglot and other brands.
