Best blush for brightening? Bronzer :)… I’m really digging Bobbi Brown’s Golden Lights for some post-summer glow.
Best eyeliner for brightening? Estee Lauder Double Wear Eyeliner in Pearl. It got a pretty bad review from Christine, but it actually quite works for me.
Best eyeshadow for brightening? I’ve been going eyeshadow-free these days. Just smear 😉 some CCB in Pearl on my eyelids if I look really tired (plus it’s my fave highlighter these days).

Best eyeliner for brightening? Clinique Quickliner for Eyes in Truffle
Best eyeshadow for brightening? bareMinerals BB Cream Eyeshadows (right now I’m using Candlelit Peach)
Your skin tone/coloring: fair/light warm (NC15)
Best blush for brightening? Both MAC Pinch o Peach (neutral-to-cool light-medium pink) and Peaches (light-medium true peach) give my fair warm complexion a bit of “oomph!” Neither of them have any shimmer or glow, but the colors give life back to my face.
Best eyeliner for brightening? L’Oreal Silkissime eyeliner in Highlighter. A really pretty pearly pale pink, perfect for the inner corner, and the Silkissime formula is STELLAR.
Best eyeshadow for brightening? Any number of eyeshadows will make my eyes seem brighter and more open, but the ones I find that really make my eyes seem richer, brighter, and more alive are Makeup Geek Cosmopolitan (golden peachy pink, dupe for MAC Expensive Pink), Makeup Geek Shimma Shimma (pearly vanilla, good for highlighting), and Urban Decay Half Baked (shimmery, coppery gold). There’s a ton more I like, but those really came to mind when I thought of “brightening.”
Basically peaches and pinks are the most flattering and enlivening on my complexion! 🙂

Best eyeliner for brightening? Milani Liquif’eye Liner in Aqua
Best eyeshadow for brightening? Whatever highlighter I use on my face, I put it as my inner tear duct to brighten up the eyes.
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair, cool
Best blush for brightening? lately, I’ve been enjoying IT Cosmetics blush that comes in the face disc. It doesn’t have a name except for “Brightening Blush” and it really does brighten!
Best eyeliner for brightening? Probably Surfer Babe from Sephora. My eyes are brown and so this shade really works well
Best eyeshadow for brightening? MAC All That Glitters, Stila Wheat, Tarte Barefoot (from the Aqualilies palette) – any beige or peachy beige shade with a bit of sheen really works for me
Your skin tone/coloring: NW5/10
Best blush for brightening? MAC Full of Joy
Best eyeliner for brightening? Sephora Blonde Ambition

Skintone/Coloring: Fairly light, very neutral; dark-featured.
Blush: NARS Multiple in Riviera, if I want some “color”, or Luxor; I have drier skin, and I don’t care for anything more than a slight flush, so these serve me well.
Eyeliner: I don’t rely on liner for “brightening”, but if I want my eyes to “pop”, I’ll use a red, which is basically Inglot Duraline with a MUFE loose red pigment these days (although I intend to pick up the Inglot gel liner in red).
Eyeshadow: NARS Ondine! For inner corner highlight, I love the long DC’d Revlon Pure Pearl (of which I have about 5 backups).

I rarely hear La Femme blushes or eyeshadows mentioned in here. The blushes, in particular are known to be highly pigmented and very inexpensive. I wish Kristine would review some of these. There aren’t many great reviews/swatches on them and I would love to see her review them as her reviews are so great, informative, and clear.
La Femme is my favorite blush formula (I think I mentioned that on a previous “Survey Says” entry). Yes! That would be amazing if Christine could do a post on all the La Femme blushes! I’ve watched a ton of YouTube swatch videos, but finding a video with great lighting and an in depth description of the blushes can be tricky. These blushes were amazing 5 years ago (that’s around the time I had learned about them), and they’re still amazing now.
My go-to blush is Black Radiance Toasted Almond, but I’m gonna have to check out Soft Honey!
Toasted Almond is my everyday blush, also. Soft Honey is discontinued, but you might find it either on eBay (that’s where I got mine) or Amazon.
Your skintone/coloring: Medium w/olive undertones MAC C4.5 SF Liquid Foundation, deep brunette, teal green eyes w/gold flecks.
Best blush for brightening: At the moment, I am loving my MAC Burnt Pepper blush for a bit of a wind-burnt rosy red cheek! Very fall appropros!
Best eyeliner for brightening: Sephora Contour Eye Pencils in My Boyfriend’s Jeans and Purple Stilettos wake my eyes up! I usually don’t line my lower waterline, but if I do, it’s Sephora Blonde Ambition, or Baby Blues (this one works fantastic with UD Naked Smoky’s bluish-gray shades).
Best eyeshadow for brightening: For me, because of my eye color, purples and bright coppers. Orangey or peachy shades, do too, especially used with burgundy plums like Deep Damson.

Best blush for brightening? Hourglass’ Incandescent Electra
Best eyeliner for brightening? Probably Tarte’s Lights, Camera, Lashes Inner Rim liner as I tend to get really red there so it definitely perks my eyes up.
Best eyeshadow for brightening? Charlotte Tilbury’s Eyes to Mesmerize (her cream eyeshadow) in Jean.
Your skin tone/coloring: light to medium warm
Best blush for brightening? Sisley L’Orchidée Rose Highlighter Blush
Best eyeliner for brightening? Currently I’m really loving Bourjois’s Bad Girl Bronze
Best eyeshadow for brightening? Anything gold works very well on me for brightening
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair/Light, neutral (Too Faced Nude)
Best blush for brightening? Lancome Blush Subtil in Cosmopolitan Pink. But I only use this shade Spring?Summer. In Fall/Winter, I don’t use a “bright” blush – I do still use a highlighter.
Best eyeliner for brightening? Trish McEvoy Eye Brightener Pencil (I use Shell but I may also pick up Cream. This pencil is amazing and super blendable!)
Best eyeshadow for brightening? This really depends on the overall eye look I’m going for. Many brands have really good shades. Typically I use a matte shade over my shadow base and add a shimmer (or duochrome) either in the inner corner or in the center of my lid. Sorry, I just can’t pick a “best” here as I have favs in at least a half a dozen or more brands.
Your skin tone/coloring: Medium Neutral MAC NC 35-40 (still holding on to that summer glow)
Best blush for brightening? Clinique Peach Pop
Best eyeliner for brightening? Rimmel Nude or Mac I get no kick

Medium, truly neutral (N30)
Don’ have answers for blush and eyeliner, but I am obsessed with using Candlelight (darker color) from the Tom Ford Skin Illuminating Duo as a brightening eyeshadow. I use it all over my lid for a daily, low-key work look (my work environment is low maintenance). It’s perfect!

Best blush for brightening? Milani Rose Blush in Coral Cove, Sleek Life’s a Peach, Sleek Rose Gold, MUFW HD Cream Blush in 410 (Coral).
Best eyeliner for brightening? L’oreal Infallible Silkissime in Highlighter and UD Shadow Pencil in Sin for the waterline. In general, bright teals/blues or navies like UD Deep End, UD Mars, UD Chaos, L’oreal Silkissime in Cobalt, Rimmel Scandal Eyes in Deep Blue.

I switch up my eye highlighter colors. Most used: Essence Eyeshadow in Chill Out, Nyx Prismatic Shadow in Frostbite, BareMinerals Eye Color in Ice Queen, Notoriously Morbid Divinations Blush in Osteomancy, The Balm’s Mary Lou-manizer, and Southern Magnolia Mineral Silk Brow Bone and Cheek Highlighter Enhancer Powder.
I’m NC50.
Best brightening blush: Nars Taj Mahal, Mac mineralized blush Petal Power (I use this to highlight but in Summer when I’m more “bronzed” I use it alone) and Becca Blushed Copper. This highlighter I use interchangeably as a blush esp. thus time of year.
Best brightening eyeliner: for my complexion, teal, bright blue and bronze eyeliners. Fave bronzes: Mac power surge and Sephora’s Cocoa. Fave teals: omg l love everything – Lancôme Azure, UD mainline, Sephora waterproof retractable e/l in teal #16, Sephora Suede Shoes, & Loreal Silkissime in True Teal. I could go on…
Best brightening eyeshadow: imo, it’s not just colors, it’s texture. The latest shadows from MUFE and Kat Von D are awesome. Mac extra dimension shadows are great too. I love Havana and Sweet Heat. Drugstore faves are Milani e/s in Bronze, Copper, Espresso, Cafe, etc. The MUFE are my faves though.
