Favorite product this month? Oh, that’s hard to say! I’m liking my new MAC Studio Waterweight Foundation, partly because it’s unusual for me to meet a new foundation that meets all my requirements, that works for me and that I like. I’m still experimenting with which shade is best for me, but I’m really liking the application (easy, even with fingers), the finish (radiant/dewy), the coverage (buildable from light to nearly full), and the wear (with primer, but I always use primer unless it’s a super casual (and short) BB cream day).
Most used face/cheek product this month? an Hourglass ambient lighting powder for setting and finishing, every day — usually Dim Light, but I’m using Mood Light quite a bit, too.
Most used eye product this month? probably NARS Eye Paint in Porto Venere. I use it as a primer with powder eyeshadows, and often use it above the crease when I’m using cream shadows.
Skin tone: Very pale with cool undertones.
Favorite Product: I am really enjoying the Sulwhasoo cushion foundation. I have used several other Asian cushion foundations and really like all of them but the Sulwhasoo in addition to having some very pale colors with cool undertones also has a more luminous finish which I am enjoying at the moment.
Most Used: The above mentioned Sulwhasoo cushion and Guerlain Meteorites. I have used the Meteorites for a number of years but have been using them a lot more recently and am really enjoying buffing them into my skin as a finishing powder. Also, I can’t deny, I love the scent of the Meteorites.
Most used Eye Product: This is tough because I have been using a lot of new palettes but if I am pressed to name just one I would say Chanel’s fall Architectonic.
Your skin tone/coloring: light-medium warm leaning neutral, with dark brown hair and eyes. I use 3.0 in the Naked Skin foundation.
Favorite product this month: ABH Modern Ren palette. I’ve discovered that I really enjoy Buon Fresco all over the lid into the crease with Antique Bronze along the outer area of the lid, instead of my usual berry/red look with the palette.
Most used face/cheek product this month: H&M Beauty Pure Radiance Powder Blush in Rosy Brown. It just works with my colouring so well!
Most used eye product this month: UD Lounge single shadow. I love this for a 1-eyeshadow look, concentrating the pigment on the outer third of the eye. The green-brown-red duochrome really works for 1-eyeshadow looks.
Porcelain to fair with cool pink undertones. This month I’ve used the Sephora More than Meets the Eye and Too-Faced Boudoir Eye palettes. I use It CC+ with 50 SPF in Porcelain on my face over Skinn Orchid Primer.

Skintone/Coloring – Fair, slightly deeper than porcelain with pink undertones.
Favorite product – Mother from KVD’s Everlasting mini liquid lipstick set — I can’t wait to buy a full size! It wears flawlessly, easily one of my favorites from the set and from KVD’s range in general. So blown away!!!!
Most used face/cheek product – Cle De Peau’s Luminizing Face Enhancer in Delicate Pink. I was using Pastel as my go-to finishing powder, but I am loving Delicate Pink for a highlighter because it has a little more shimmery “oomph!” to it. I plan to start using Pastel to dust off my bake — wish me luck!
Most used eye product — Without a doubt, my answer HAS to be the MetalMatte eyeshadow palette from KVD. SO in love with the formulas of both the metals AND the mattes. I never like to see a brand get bad publicity, but I am kind of thankful for the negative reviews because if it’s in stock next month, I’m going to buy a backup during the 20% VIB Rouge event. I usually don’t like to do this because I feel it disrupts the true meaning of makeup (which for me is being part of the present, which isn’t as easy to do when you’re using the same palette for years on end) but this one has truly made me so happy I don’t want to be without it.
The luminizer in Pink is so pretty. Not that you need another, but you should try Almond (#16 I think) next. It’s in a similar vein to Pink in that it gives you the extra oomph but isn’t too dark for fair skin. Good luck with your bake experiment. I’d be curious to hear how the powder looks under the eyes, though I don’t bake myself. Just wondering if it gives you a brightness without looking powdery.
Using Pastel under the eyes is the only one I feel I can get away with as it has less noticeable shimmer than the others. I have set very light foundation with Pastel and the face looks very smooth, pore less and diffused. There is the faintest hint of an inner glow that shows through, and since I lean on the oily side, I just look like myself but better!
To be honest, I might buy Almond too later on. Ithe seems right in between two of my faves from the series so I’m in hog heaven when I see it! Thanks for the rec!

Is Juvia’s Place something new or am I just out of the loop? I’ve seen a lot of chatter about the Nubian palettes, but I’ve never heard of Juvia’s Place before. Nubian obviously makes me think it’s designed for women of color (which is sorely needed), but it’s been everywhere the last month or two.
Miami, baby. Google it, not just m/u, and if you like depth of color, you’ll like their palettes. One of the nubians is what the kvd alchemy was meant to be. They have singles, too. And it certainly isn’t just for POC. I’m an old Caucasian broad who admires Juvia’s line, and also likes Nubian Heritage vetiver soap. Nubia was one of the great classical empires, so the associations are prima!
Thanks KJH. I wasn’t familiar with it at all apart from reviews from some vloggers. I had Googled the shadows, but it doesn’t say much about the inspiration and I was certainly curious based on how much I’ve seen the 1 and 2 palettes about.

Favorite product this month? This is a hard one for some reason, but I’ll go broad – bright color shadows. The ones I picked from Inglot to make my own MR palette and the Cle de Peau holiday palette have been my favorite things to add into my neutral office looks. Even the new Nars burgundy/grey whatever it’s called has been a nice addition. It was only briefly when I got home one night, but the Nars burgundy on the inner half of the lid and grey on the outer half, plus a small pop of the CdP light peacock blue in the outer corner was surprisingly pretty and maybe the first blue I’ve ever used on my eyes ever. I’ll try that again for sure.

Ooh, you did the C de P? Great excitement! Christine’s sidebar ads keep reminding me to buy it through Saks. But with that deco embossing, I’m surprised you can touch it. Whatta beauty. And doing inglot for mr is a stroke of brilliance, as is having ‘lish make a cooler version.
I have only toyed with the one color so far. I’m going to dive into it, but my morning have been so rushed lately that I haven’t jumped into anything new that I need to figure out where I’m going with it and I don’t wear a ton, if any, makeup on weekends if I’m running errands or just around the house. It’s a miracle I picked the blue to play with before washing my face! It’s my favorite holiday release in general and from CdP overall. As to MR and Beautylish, it’s because of Temptalia that I went through them. It was my first experience with them, but I remember the raves on customer service and help picking colors so I took a shot. Inglot can be hard to pick online with the sheer number of shades and finishes, so it really helped and is working for me so far!!

Most used face/cheek product this month? Chanel Joues in Golden Sun.. It gives me that lit from within look and it doesn’t look golden on me despite pan colour, it actually runs rosy against my complexion. It’s the boss of all my Joues (although I have 2 others on order right now..)
Most used eye product this month? See above. I cover the entire lid with the cream base, smoke into crease and intensify inner and outer corners with same product. I add a bit of ABH Venetian Red to inner and outer and lower lashline, and then tap the shimmer shade on centre lid with my finger and tightlight like crazy upper lash so I don’t look like a silly wabbit. The Estee edit product is very nice deep balanced red.
That blush turns rosy on me too! I was trying on golden sun and Chanel Jersey and was floored when it turned pink on my skin. Gotta be the olive tones. I ended up getting Jersey though…
It’s so weird.. almost like the golden part is just overspray :D. I like Chanel Jersey too, but Golden Sun is definitely that smidge better on me. I have Evening Beige on its way which looks like a redder Alezane… wonder what it is going to do ..ha!

I’m on this red and hot pink combo lately. The two together work so surprisingly well against my skin and eye colour without looking loud and garish. There is this great Milani shimmer colour ..just went and looked at the label..it is #19 Bella Rouge. It’s freaking beyoootiful. I add this as a final touch just in and above the outer crease and run a thin smoky line just below my lower lash colour and wow.
Oh thanks for the tip on Bella Rouge! I googled it, and it looks really pretty. I’ve been into red shadows too, and I’ve been building up my collection – my faves are CP Paradox (lighter and brighter red than EL Scarlet), UD Vintage Gash (rusty brown red), City Color Shimmer Shadow in It’s A Girl (metallic pinky red), and Tarte Metallic Shadow in Scarlet ( brownish plum with pinky red shift)
Paradox looks completely wow.. but I struggle with CP formula overall. I NEED that city colour shadow!!! Thanks for your rec’s 😀

Lt-md coolish, prob nw 20-25, when the tan fades. Fave product & cheek. The NARS di from the summer is right on the top of thefrequently used blush basket, and one of the last 3 shades goes with most of the colors I wear. It’s just so easy, with my boatload of NARS reds and brown reds. To think I brought it back, and a SA scrubbed at it w/more elbow grease than any product needs or deserves…so I took it home and started it up w/denser brushes. Now I cannot put it down. Idiot proof, warm or cool. I also had a neg impression of di in general, from the first eye palette, and thought it would be too shimmery. I feel as if I should write little Sephora a thank you note. Never overused a product so much in my life. Eyes: use fab triple duty remedy no matter what, even with no color cosmetics. Color/eyes: tend to use metal/matte if starting at night or on day off, though used~6 shades and 5 brands today. If day job, usually none, but have done the Ciate palette there a few times.

Favorite product this month?: I got a sample of a NUDESTIX lip and cheek pencil in the color Mystic a while ago (I honestly don’t remember when) and I decided to use it all of a sudden-I am so in love. It’s such a gorgeous color! It’s kind of nude/kind of purple/brown but in a way that’s so flattering on me. The color saturation is just enough that it looks like an actual lipstick, like I’ve put real effort into choosing and applying something, but it’s just the right color that it doesn’t try to compete with everything else that I’ve done and it takes no effort at all to apply. It does wear off pretty quickly, in as much as it has a gloss at first and that’s gone within the hour, although the color isn’t. I already almost have to sharpen it, which is kind of amazing because I try to use a different lip product every day so nothing goes to dust in my collection. I can tell I’m using it a lot.
Most used face/cheek product this month? I’ve been reaching for my Benefit Cheekathon palette a lot this month. Dandelion and Hoola are just so easy to use, as is Dallas. I’m still so thrilled I got that. I’ve also been trying to finally finish my Besame Cashmere Powder in Light. It’s such a small pan but I stopped using it for a few months. There’s just a small amount of product around the edge now.
Most used eye product this month? I’ve had a lot of variety with my eye products this month, but of that variety I’ve used these the most: Lancome Aquatique Long Wear Eyeshadow Base in Beige Ivoire, Lancome’s Audacity in London palette, Chanel’s Illusion d’Ombre in Emerveille, Burberry’s single shadow in Pale Barley and this mini five pan palette I got from Lancome as a GWP called Taupe Craze. It’s a mini of one of their regular sized five pan palettes and has a terrific matte brown shade for me for a simple one color eye look. I actually have a dip in that color. I can’t believe it. I’ve also been using a sample of Givenchy’s Noir Couture Volume Mascara in the color Black Taffeta. The first time I tried it I hated it-the brush is really weird to me. But now that I’ve been using it more it’s becoming a favorite.

Most used eye product this month?: I busted out my Clinique Black Honey eyeshadow single. I love it in the outer V with a light gold on the lid and UD Naked in the crease. It’s a great effortless eye look that still feels like fall.

Most used face/cheek product this month? I’ve been changing almost every day! One that I’ve used several times is the new Dior Lip & Cheek Matte Fluid Velvet Colour in Treasure.
Most used eye product this month? bareMinerals BB Cream Eyeshadow in Elegant Taupe.
Skin tone/coloring: light, neutral-ish undertones, brown hair, brown eyes.
Favorite product this month: Despite my rants about too many neutral palettes, UD Naked Ultimate Basics started to grow on me and I caved. I’m glad I did. Also, ABH Modern Renaissance has been getting lots of love lately.
Most used face/cheek product: UD Rapture blush and WnW Reserve Your Cabana.
Most used eye product: Amazingly enough, UD Naked Ultimate Basics and ABH Modern Renaissance.
Skintone/Coloring: Light with neutral undertones, NC20. It has been a stressful month for me so I am sensing a theme with the easy makeup choices.
Favorite product this month: The new NARS velvet lip glide in bound. Such a pretty everyday lip.
Most used face/cheek product: Tarte Exposed blush. My favorite goes-with-everything blush.
Most used eye product: Mac Mulch, an oldie but a goodie. It is one of the older products in my stash, and I am trying to pan it for a project.
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair with neutral undertones (NC1, NARS Sheer Glow in Gobi)
Favorite product this month? MAC Club eyeshadow. The quality is great and, since I do not own any eyeshadow palettes (thinking hard on how to fix this 🙂 ), this color is nothing similar to anything else I have.
Most used face/cheek product this month? MUFE Pro Bronze Fusion in i15 (love!) and NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer (I mix Alaska and Finland).
Most used eye product this month? MAC fluidline in Deepdown, MAC eyeshadow in Orb and… you guessed it MAC Prep + Prime 24-Hour Extend Eye Base

Favorite product this month? Wet n Wild’s Ultimate Match SPF 15 Foundation – it really goes on well and stays on forever for me with the perfect amount of coverage. Winner!

Favorite product this month: I am so happy I finnaly got the ABC Modern Renaissance pallet. It’s amazing and creates some really fun looks.
Most used face products: After fooling around with new foundations that I wasn’t too happy with I went back to MAC Face & Body. The best foundation for my skin and I don’t know why I stray.

Most used face/cheek product this month? not counting foundation or setting and finishing powder, My Pretty Zombie Reclusa blush — it’s the perfect no-blush blush for my skintone!
Most used eye product this month? the lightest color in the Physician’s Formula Shimmer Strips eyeliner trio “Warm Nude Eyes” — it doesn’t have a name of its own, but it’s a nice, shimmery, medium bronze color that goes well with warm eyeshadows and lays down nicely on my lower waterline
