Your skin tone/coloring: Light, neutral, MAC NC20
Favorite product this month? Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Lipstick in the shade Libre (discontinued, but I found a store that had one tube left). The shade, formula, and sleek push-button packaging are absolutely gorgeous.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation in Desert Beige was my most used face product; Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Paaarty was my most used cheek product.
Most used eye product this month? I could give the same answer for this question every month of every year: Clinique Brow Shaper in Charcoaled, because that hasn’t changed in 10+ years. Other than that, my most used product this past month was NYX Proof It Waterproof Eyeshadow Primer. I’ve also taken a new liking to a palette I haven’t touched in a long time: TF Sweet Peach Eye Shadow Palette.
♥ Your skin tone/coloring:
• Dark
• Warm/Golden undertone (touch of neutral)
• MAC NC44.5/45 or C7, MUFE 173, TO’s 3.0Y/3.1Y, IMAN Clay Medium/2
♥ Favorite product this month?
• Mizon Original Skin Energy Collagen 100 Ampoule
• CosRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence
❝ Both of these items have done wonders for my skin. I love them so much!! ❞
♥ Most used face/cheek product this month?
• Guerlain Terracotta Original Bronzing Powder in 09
• MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in PETTICOAT
❝ I’m just overly committed to my Guerlain bronzer. As for Petticoat, I had forgotten I’d purchased it. I found it earlier this month, and have been enjoying it on the regular. ❞
♥ Most used eye product this month?
• MAC matte² eyeshadow in BROWN SCRIPT
• MAC velvet eyeshadow in SMUT
• MAC matte eyeshadow in CARBON
• Coastal Scents matte eyeshadow in CHAMOIS NUDE
❝ I’ve probably worn this color combo nearly everyday this month. ❞
Love the skin choices. Might have to score the Mizon. Big Cosrx person, here. The snail is so light. Also like the Mizon snail cream gel…total ‘beginner’ KB product, but it is also SO good.
Thank you. I’m a big snail mucin fan. Prior to discovering CosRX’s snail mucin essence, I used to use Secret Key’s Snail + EGF Repairing Cream. My skin lived for that stuff! I wanted to try something new, so now I’m using Mizon’s All in One Snail Repair Cream (IMO, it’s just as good as Secret Key). I’ve been trying KB products for almost 2 years; one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Most of my skincare products, now, are from CosRX, Mizon, and The Face Shop.
Your skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Favorite product this month? Smashbox Legendary Cream lipstick
Most used face/cheek product this month? again it’s Dior Rosy Glow blush and Benefit Boing concealer
Most used eye product this month? I pulled out Bare Minerals The Magic Touch duo after not using it since I-don’t-know-when. So perfect for this time of year and a quick morning look; also Marc Jacobs Skinny Liner in Blacquer to tight-line and good old Sephora Diving in Malaysia to line.
I have lots of bareMinerals duo’s, quads and 8 pan palettes and they are so, so good. The Flicker shade in that duo is so perfect. Love it.
All of their eyeshadows are being phased out (or have been phased out) from Sephora stores here. All they have now is one larger palette but all the loose shadows (which were great and so reasonably priced), 2, 4 and 8 pans are now gone which is a real shame.
Oh, that’s too bad. 🙁 I love their shadows.
They are probably moving to Ulta. That happens. U now has all 3 14.0s that came out in summer, (theirs, the pink one, and the one that was Nordie’s Exclusive)and the 18.0 that came today. for me. The bottom row of the 18.0 is quite cool and the rest cool friendly. Will complement UDN2 quite well. Not such a great move for Canadians. Dk if Ulta shipping is more than the S increase to Canada prices.
Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair with neutral undertones; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.
Favorite product this month? Besame Snow White 1937 Storybook Palette
Most used face/cheek product this month? Face: Nyx Angel Veil; Sephora Tranquil (contour); Cheek: Tarte blushes.
Most used eye product this month? Apocalyptic Beauty (etsy) eyeshadows; UD Primer Potion in Enigma; UD 24/7 Eye Pencil in Perversion; Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara.
Dogette…I missed that palette, despite trying to sign up. Hope it reissues.
I got mine on pre-order. I heard a lot of people didn’t get their emails, though. I think the collection is supposed to be officially issued next month, if I remember correctly. I hope you can get it!

Your skin tone/colouring: Light neutral leaning cool : smoky silver purple hair
Favorite product this month? After finally getting properly matched for foundation, I’m so excited about EL double wear in Ecru and Bobbi Brown stick (touchups) in cool sand
Most used face/cheek product this month? I love blending surratt la vie en rose with la rosee du soir blushes and then a pop of barbe a papa on fleshy part of cheek. I have these 3 in a 3 pan and get a ton if use from the trio.
Most used eye product this month? I’m still with Naked 3, ABH Ren, and Coloured Raine QOH palettes as go to’s.. I seem to reach for Zoeva pencil in Myth as my fav for brightening.
Adding la vie at the S sale. Du soir is real invisible in summer. Hoping for better in winter. Nice trio. Btw, how did you go from olive leaning to cool? If that’s not too personal.
I went to big S for foundation match. I’ve got complex mix of undertones, but surprisingly ended up on cooler side. My skin is a lot lighter than it was 2 years ago (anti-aging and better sunscreen). Most fair, light olives are actually cooler., have beigey undertones. Olive skintone runs the gamut cool/neutral/warm in intensities from fair to dark. The green of the olive complexion can accompany other undertones (pink, rosy, peach, beige, yellow, golden, etc) When most people think of olive skintone, they think warm golden medium skin… and that is usually what you get with a foundation choice for olive.. hence the outrage from sisters who have various degrees of intensity, different accompanything tones and various degrees of green cast to their skin. It’s rightfully should exist as a category of its own.. picking a foundation is best to go with accompanying tones and mine are on the R side of the sephora spectrum and not Y.. more rose beige, not yellow beige or warm peach. IT cosmetics has an anti-redness ‘concealer’ and it is practically a dead match for my skintone 1R05.. but there are others in this category which don’t work at all and read too peachy.. the IQ system has its flaws. EL double wear in Ecru reads more beige and works. Bobbi brown cool sand works.
So many factors. The day I got matched I was wearing Mufe 120 with MAC NC 20 pro concealer to tweak.. anyhow you could really see in their lighting how the yellow in it was sitting on top of my skin not blending in with anything below my chin. I am apparently totally skintone blind. Apparently I’m not alone. The makeup artist said the mufe 120 combo wasn’t bad.. i didnt look like a freak..but it didnt nail my underlying tone. I had the right depth only.
Jeez.. exhausted ?.. long painful response, but the best I understand it at this point.
Finding a foundation that’s the right shade and formula is exhausting. I tried and tried, until I was fed up and very discouraged. Then, out of the blue, I accidentally found my shade. And, that is that. If they discontinue it, I’m slitting my wrists. I’m glad you found yours. It feels so good when you finally find it. For what it’s worth, I am fair with a slight pink undertone (so slight, that I know there’s green in there). A couple of MUAs in my distant past mistakenly read it as needing a golden base and I look terrible in anything golden-based. So, I’m not surprised at all you found something in a cooler shade.
I hear you! I’ve was told for years I needed yellow (years and years ago MAC gave me NC30! Lol ?).. It’s Donald Trump orange on me..and so now I shake my head at sooo many oompa loompa liver transplant candidate moments with foundations…. why warm colours are a struggle and not flattering.
Last night after all this duscussion I was thinking about olive and I feel it is a greenish overwash on top of underlying tone .. almost acting like a camera filter. While I was lifting my hair to light blonde, I went through that ugly brassy stage and my hairdresser and I were horrified what my skin lioiked like against it. I looked positively green jaundiced. I spent months toning the brass out while we lifted and used Olaplex for protection.. toner washes out with every shampoo so slowly the brass would return with a vengeance. Eventually found killerstrands and products to combat persistent gold and then got beyond the brass barrier.. phew.
The amazing part is how long I have ignored what makeup and my hair was already telling me: I don’t suit warm colours. So I’ve persisted.. I knew I must be neutralish since I can wear both silver and gild but most neutral foundations are peach based and many yellow peach which is totally wrong and too bright. I still consider myself neutral, since I am not strongly pink but definitely lean cool rosy beige instead of warm. There it is.
I was feeling inept .. how can someone get it so wrong for so long and then felt reassued by reading on Huda beauty website that most of the ladies at Huda beauty there had no idea on their undertones. We’ve been lead to think a narrow pink/yellow either or for years and our skin can be so much more than that.
It’s bliody complicated!
I’ve been looking at Classique, Chérubique and Guimauve for so long! One of these days. . .
Something to save for sale! I think the formula overall is top notch, and risk of sellout lower than other brands.
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair/Neutral
Favorite product this month? I’ve been trying to get a lot of use out of the Morphe 35O.
Most used face/cheek product this month? I’ve been doing warmer eye looks so I’m leaning more towards my TF milk choc. bronzer and I’ve been reaching for the KVD (DC) blush in everlasting.
Most used eye product this month? no matter what eye look I’m doing, the Lorac pro matte palette is always involved. I’ve hit pan on half the palette!
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair/light with neutral undertones.
Favorite product this month? My favorite product has probably been my Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Radiant Lights. It’s perfect if I want a subtle highlight, but can also easily be built up.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Most used was probably my Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Paaarty!
Most used eye product this month? My most used eye product was probably my CoverGirl Supersizer.
Did you get Paaarty as a birthday gift from Sephora? That’s how I got mine, and I like it a lot.
Makeup Revolution Radiant Lights is a beautiful highlighter. I like it too.
Supersizer is terrific. Price is even better.
Skintone: MAC NC23! With prominent warm undertones, with warm brown hair and eyes!
Favorite product this month: jack black lip balm in grapefruit! My Sephora just got this flavor in, and I’m adoring it!!!
Most used face/cheek product this month: Make up forever artist shadow in ME512. it’s a metallic gold! And it’s my all time favorite highlight. So creamy and easy to blend!
Most used eye product this month: Sephora big volume mascara! It beat essence lash princess as my favorite mascara!
No way! I HAAAAAATED grapefruit! Lol. I really like the black cherry & shea butter ones. Lemon is okay but not preferred. I don’t like the mint either ?
How many MUFE shadows do you own? I’ve always thought about grabbing some, but the pans are so big and I’ve almost never hit pan on any eyeshadow.
LOL!!! I can def see how you can hate the grapefruit scent Joyce!!! I wasn’t sure on it the first day or two, then fell in love!!
Here we only have the black cherry scent at holiday time. So you better believe I stock up on a few during november/december!!! 😀
I own 6 of the full sized ones, and 9 of the mini sized ones from one of the artist palettes!!!
Here in Canada they’re $52 for a trio. So SUPER expensive. But if you get shades you love and will use every day. Then I think they’re HIGHLY worth it!!!! Iv hit pan on two of mine, and that took a lot of effort ahahaha!!!
Not sure, but think you might be able to hold off. They are reformulating (shades of UD Revolution, and I like the older ones!). There is a distinct possibility that they will get marked down at some point, but then S will probably take away trio pricing. Check C’s swatches and sort by editor’s favorite to pin down the ones you like. My faves are Viseart and mufe, pretty equally. You are right about the big pans. I’ll die with all of them!
Interesting. I have several MUFE eyeshadows and I’m utterly unimpressed. They are nothing special imo
Your skin tone/coloring: Dark
Favorite product this month? Sephora Make No Mistake Foundation Stick and High Coverage Concealer
Most used face/cheek product this month? MUFE Pro Sculpting Palette. I have been contouring a lot lately!
Most used eye product this month? Inglot Freedom Palette
Skin tone: light medium w/warm undertones NC-25ish
Favorite product this month: I hadn’t used them in awhile, so I pulled out the Stila Perfect Me, Perfect Hue palettes and they are as fabulous as I had remembered when I first used them. I don’t usually like palettes that are combos (eyeshadow, blush, highlighter) but these really are great grab-and-go products.
Most used face/cheek product: NARS Unfiltered 1 Cheek Palette
Most used eye product: No matter what other eyeshadow palettes I’ve used, I keep reaching for UD Naked Basics 1 & 2 to complete the look.
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair/neutral
Favorite product this month? Fenty Beauty lipgloss in Spacesuit
Most used face/cheek product this month? Tie between MAC’s Blushbaby and TooFaced Papa Don’t Peach blushes
Most used eye product this month? Some single shadows from Younique (I don’t sell this brand) and Lash Paradise mascara
Skintone/Coloring: Fairly light, very neutral; dark-featured.
Favorite Product: Illamasqua Beyond Powder in Deity (although OMG is a close second, especially if I’m wearing a warmer foundation).
Most Used Face/Cheek Product: aside from sunscreen, which has been Coppertone Clearly Sheer Faces SPF 50 (it plays well under any of my foundations), I’ve been using a mix of Lancome Teinte Idole Ultra in 140N & L’Oreal True Match Lumi in W1-2; I don’t love either alone, but they’re awesome together. Since I “tan” to a bit warmer undertone, I’ve been using Illamasqua Beyond Powder in OMG every time I wear makeup.
Most Used Eye Product: Sunglasses. It’s been really hot, so I haven’t really bothered much with eye makeup… Well, I do my brows regularly, but I kind of consider that separate…
Your skin tone/coloring: Light medium, yellow tones
Favorite product this month? Colourpop Take Five (freebie) liquid lip matte – it’s very flattering!
Most used face/cheek product this month? ABH Radiant blush kit
Most used eye product this month? Zoeva eyeliner in Rock N Roll Bride – it’s worn down to a stub!
Your skin tone/coloring: light and warm
Favorite product this month? Lorac Ocean Sunset palette
Most used face/cheek product this month? Tarte Exposed
Most used eye product this month? A shadow stick from Kiko in Golden Taupe
I just looked up the shadow stick from Kiko – and that Golden Taupe colour is absolutely stunning. No wonder you love it so much.
Your skin tone/coloring: NW45-47
Favorite product this month? NYX Butter gloss in Madeleine.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Exhibit A blush from Nars and Oh darling highlighter from Mac.
Most used eye product this month? Too faced better than sex mascara and Essence Lash Princess Mascara .
Your skin tone/coloring: Light/ medium, neutral
Favorite product this month?
* Loving everything I’m using, so no favorite. Dialed in at the moment.
Most used face/cheek product this month?
* Combo of EL Double Wear and Chanel Teint Ultrawear to match my tone that is in between summer and pale
* Illamasqua Gel Contour
* Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder
* Chanel Golden Sun Blush every damn day. I layer a more coral-y or rose tone over depending on the overall look, but that is the blush base daily and has been for months and months now.
Most used eye product this month?
MUG Crème Brulee as a transition. Every day lately no matter what else I reach for.
You reminded me to pull out the Illamasqua Gel Contour! I bought it last month, but I haven’t gotten around to using it yet… How are you applying it?
Hi xamyx!
I have just been using my fingers on all areas of my face. I like it quite a bit. Plus, you’ll see that it feels so nice to apply. Hope you like it too!
Skin tone: Very pale with cool undertones. NW5-10
Favorite product this month: Huda Desert Dusk e/s palette.
Favorite face/cheek product: Becca Chrissy Teigan palette.
Favorite eye product: Huda Desert Dusk and Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bon e/s palette.
I tried three of your links to purchase the Mac lipstick (I’m Glistening Limited Edition) but none of the links/vendors had the lipstick on their site.
Has it not been released to the general public?
I bought it at Ulta
Thank you Erica! I will try there next–

Favorite product this month? Laura Geller Diamond Dust Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator
Most used face/cheek product this month? As always, Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Paaarty
Most used eye product this month? Lorac LA Experience Venice Beach Palette
Your skin tone/coloring: Med. w/ olive undertones MAC NC37 or Lancôme Teint Idole N360, deep brunette, blue-green eyes w/ gold flecks.
Favorite product this month? I’m just really happy for the return to more shimmery eye and lip products after years of parchment dry liquid matte lipsticks and mostly matte eyes!
Most used face/cheek product this month? Slowly edging into using my autumn/winter blush shades, especially UD Noho and Quiver, MAC Burnt Pepper. MAC Whisper Of Gilt is in rotation again.
Most used eye product this month? Probably, since I was putting it to the test to see if it would work on me with glitter primer: Fenty Galaxy Palette? Also, Viseart Amethyst Theory palette and UD Urban Spectrum palette.
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Favourite product this month? A tricky one, but I love my new Elizabeth Arden lipstick in Bronze.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Nude by Nature BB creme in porcelain, La Roche Posay’s Ultra light SPF 50; Rimmel’s Match Perfection gel creme foundation in porcelain and Natio’s Sunkissed blush/highlighter mosaic palette.
Most used eye product this month? For neutrals, it has been the Sephora It Palette in neutrals – it has the best collection of cool toned taupe shades ever; the Lorac Pro Metals palette for bright shades and Guerlain’s Les Gris to work with when I am wearing navy.
See if you can google swatches of the Bare Minerals 18.0. It’s on the cooler side, with a goodly amount of Taupe. Not sure if it’s on Aus Sephora. The major complaint (of others) is that it has too many light shades. Think it will be a workhorse for me.
Skin tone-Light medium, leaning cool.
Favorite product- RMS Eye Polish in Aura. Perfect for light makeup days and is really helping my dry eyelids, even on days I don’t wear it.
Most Used face/cheek product- I finally decided to try the L’oreal Pro Glow foundation. In the past I have been greatly underwhelmed by drugstore foundation formulas but overall I am happy with this one. It won’t replace my favorites but it is nice to know I have a drugstore alternative that I like and is ideal for travel.
Most Used Eye Product-Besides the RMS in Aura I have been using 2 other shades, Magnetic and Siren (? an icy blue/gray) on my lids with Urban Decay Naked blended up out of the crease. In the past few weeks I have been going very light on my makeup and RMS is the perfect brand to do that with.
Your skin tone/coloring: fair warm ~NC10, blue eyes, light brown hair w/copper highlights
Favorite product this month? As the air gets dryer, I’m using Bite Agave Lip Mask more often, and I’m really liking it.
Most used face/cheek product this month? NARS Taos blush. Nice for this time of year.
Most used eye product this month? Urban Decay Riff eyeshadow. Over last months I’ve bought Viseart warm mattes, UD Naked Heat, and Too Faced Peach Mattes palettes, and I like each fine, but I always come back to UD Riff. It’s just perfect on my skin tone, makes my blue eyes pop, and is so smooth and long lasting.
Your skin tone/coloring: dark tan / hello undertone nc46

Most used eye product this month? RBR Big Lash Mascara Amplitude in golden charcoal
Golden charcoal? Yes, please.
Your skin tone/coloring: Tan with neutral undertones, dark brown hair
Favorite product this month? The Nyx Birthday Palette I got at Ulta has been a pleasant suprise. I like using all of the colors, and the quality of the shades ranges from decent to great. It kinda reminds me of the ABH Mario palette in terms of color scheme.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer. I like how easy it is to blend in, but the color is a bit too light for my undereyes, so I’m gonna finish this one up in a month or so and move on to something new (maybe the Colourpop concealer).
Most used eye product this month? L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara. Lengthens my lashes, doesn’t flake, doesn’t irritate my eyes, fairly easy to remove — overall my favorite mascara I’ve used.
I find the CP concealer to be dry and drying, and i’m Oily/dehydrated, and use 2-3 layers beneath it. S.t I have to put the Becca brightener on then quick with the CP, bec it seems there is not enough carrier/too much pigment in the formula. It’s dry before I get it on. I haven’t Tried the age rewind, which is such a classic. iOS 11.whatever still hasn’t fixed capitalizing the word after, instead of the word. It looks so doltish.
Skin tone/coloring: Light to medium, neutral
Favorite product this month: Luminous silk #4 or MAC Pro Longwear Waterproof Foundation NC20 mixed with Luminous silk #6 and a drop of pure Jojoba oil (only when I use the Mac)
Most used face/cheek product this month? Nars Dolce Vita
Most used eye product this month? Tom Ford cream e/s from Midnight Sea, combined with MAC Artifact paint pot
Your skin tone/coloring: MAC NC15/ NARS Gobi
Favorite product this month? Benefit Gimme Brow #5 — I got a tiny sample in my Sephora Play! box this month and I’ve been absolutely loving how quick and easy it is to use and how good it makes my brows look.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Flower Beauty Shimmer & Strobe Highlighting Palette — I can’t believe these incredibly silky, buttery, pigmented, blinding highlighters are a drugstore product. This beats out every powder highlight I’ve ever tried, by a mile.
Most used eye product this month? Amore Pacific Moisture Bound Rejuvenating Eye Treatment Gel — I had a deluxe sample from an old Sephora order. This eye cream/ gel is phenomenal. It sinks into the skin and hydrates deeply without leaving behind any greasy residue. No wonder it’s $85 for the full size…
Your skin tone/coloring: Medium-tan with warm undertones (NC40)
Favorite product this month? Giorgio Armani Luminessence CC Cream. Been loving this for a few months for the gorgeous finish it has on my skin (combination). It’s smoothing, plumping, luminous, and lasts all day with powder even in a hot, humid Asian summer. I use shades 5 and 6 depending on how tan I am, and while they aren’t quite golden enough for a perfect match, they’re sheer enough so that it’s not noticeable.
Most used face/cheek product this month? NARS Liquid Blush in Torrid. Really nice and easy blush as long as you use a tiny drop for each cheek.
Most used eye product this month? L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Waterproof Mascara. Amazing curl hold, and gives a beautiful fluffy look to the lashes. My new HG mascara.
Skintone/coloring: light, MAC NC 20, med brown hair and eyes
Favorite product: ABH Prism palette and Benefit Hervana blush
Favorite cheek: Benefit Hervana blush
Favorite eye: ABH Prism palette
Your skin tone/coloring: Light-medium olive/neutral
Favorite product this month? Becca Ipanema Sun bronzer – perfect reddish/caramel undertone, and melts into the skin.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Other than the Becca bronzer – Dior Nude Air highlighting powder in 01, and either Becca Wild Honey or Hourglass Mood Exposure for blush.
Most used eye product this month? Still stuck on the Marc Jacobs Eye-Conic palettes, and have used Scandalust almost everyday for two weeks of October!
