Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair with neutral to cool undertones, grey hair and brown eyes.
Last nail polish you purchased? I purchased a Chanel Le Vernis in the shade Tuxedo for my daughter’s Advent Calendar.
Last nail polish you used? I haven’t worn nail polish since I had a mani/pedi when my daughter and I were headed to Europe in the fall of 2018. I just picked a color at the salon but it was a nice cool leaning red. I then spent the entire 5 weeks picking it off after it had started chipping. I hadn’t used any of my valuable “liquid” allotment to bring polish remover. We hadn’t really thought about doing the whole mani/pedi thing but we were seeing Ed Sheeran the night before our plane left so we decided it would be fun to do our nails for the concert.
Last nail polish you fell in love with? I like anything in a red/platinum/raspberry pink sort of shades. I am not a big lover of the duochrome or multichrome nail polishes as they just appear a bit juvenile or garish to me. I prefer what I would call “elegant” colors. I know, there are a lot of beautiful shades in those types of nail polishes but I guess I am old school and too staid to enjoy the more far out nail colors. I also think that all the gewgaws they put on nails are not attractive. I can see it if you are young but I look at these nails that are an inch long and covered with all sorts of flowers, rhinestones, plastic and just wonder how anyone does anything with those types of nails. Okay, I will get off my soapbox now, LOL. I guess that I am just too old to appreciate it and as I mentioned before, I didn’t wear nail polish for all the years I was a practicing RN and that was 45 years so didn’t have a real interest in nails.

Last nail polish you purchased? Honestly, it’s been such a long time that I cannot remember!
Last nail polish you used? A very old Revlon polish in the Brilliant Strength line called Inflame on my toenails two months ago for my Convention.
Last nail polish you fell in love with? Many a gorgeous Indie brand holographic or multichrome nail polish calls out to me. However, since I already know that I probably would only use it once, then put it away only to be forgotten, I don’t bother buying any.
Skin Tone: Pale pink undertone
Last Nail Polish Purchased: The currently available new collection from Bee’s Knees Lacquer called Hell Bent
Last Nail Polished Used: I’m currently wearing a skittle of Ethereal’s Coffin, Hourglass and Cloud Coffee. Lumen’s Stone Guardian and Glisten and Glow’s Living Free in ’23. They’re all shades of taupe with colorful shimmer.
Last Nail Polish You Fell In Love With: probably this one called Coffin, very dark taupe with red shimmer.

Last one I’ve fallen in love with – its actually a tie between Bitten and Shapeshifter from ILNP. Before that it was Eclipse from ILNP.
Last polish purchased: Not entirely sure, but I think it was Essie’s Semi-precious Tones. It’s a beige gold linear holographic with tiny metallic flakes.
Last used: The above, plus accent nails of Color Club’s Worth the Risqué (silver holo, not quite scattered but not nearly as strong as the one that’s over ten years younger!) topped with Inglot’s 207 (a golden holographic microglitter). And I actually did that mani this very month!
Last polish I fell in love with: As much as I enjoy those holos, what comes to mind for this question is actually China Glaze’s Choo-choo Choose You (from a fall 2014 collection, but I didn’t get it until late 2018!). Aside from the name that reminds me of “The Simpsons,” I love the fascinating shade; it’s the kind that’s kinda complicated and hard to categorize. Sure, there’s a purply indigo base color, but also this shimmer that shifts around and makes it look like all kinds of hues depending on the lighting and angle. It’s not even one of those more recent proper multichromes (the ones that look like car paint lol), but it’s still crazy dimensional.

Last used: ILNP Dakota from last year’s fall collection. It’s a burgundy base with pinky-red glitter. Gorgeous.
I fell in love with Virgoals because it’s a duochrome brown with gold and rose shifts, and it can be used either in 3 coats alone or as a topper over other colors. Super pretty for fall!
Your skin tone/coloring: Above, dark brown hair, though at the moment no hair, grey-green eyes.
Last nail polish you purchased? Essie Flirt with Freedom, OPI Emflowered, OPI Kiss my Aries.
Last nail polish you used? Essie Hard to Resist in the lilac tone.
Last nail polish you fell in love with? Probably OPI Emflowered, it’s such a pink pink.
I’ve been buying mostly Holo Taco. I have a long list of polishes from many different brands that I want. I got sick about a year ago, so I went from buying makeup to buying nail polish. I was really into polish in 2009-2014 and then I switched to makeup once I got a job in 2015. So I fell out of love with it but I got obsessed again in November 2022.
