Skin tone/coloring: Cool porcelain with freckles and reddish brown hair.
Last lipstick I wore: The Bite Beauty Matte Lip Crayon in Glace. I’m trying to use up my old mini since I got a new one in my Sephora b-day gift this year. Luckily it’s a really flattering color on me!
Last eyeliner I used: I…. can’t remember. I haven’t been in the mood to mess around with eyeliner lately.
Last mascara I used up: NYX Worth the Hype, though it wasn’t so much “used up” as “threw out when it hit the 6 month-ish mark.”
Same here on Glacé! I got the mini in my Sephora birthday set, too, and just wore it for the first time. It’s a beautiful shade and I really like the consistency. It kind of reminds me of a super luxurious version of Colourpop’s Lippie Stix.
Also, I’m really loving NYX Worth the Hype. I hope I use it up before I have to toss it, but it’s so inexpensive that it’s not a big deal.

Last lipstick you wore? Currently wearing Lipstick Queen Medieval
Last eyeliner you used? I almost never wear eyeliner so I’m not sure. If I want to line my eyes I usually do it with an angled brush and some eyeshadow.
Last mascara you finished? Oh lord, it was from the drugstore? Blue packaging? Way too springy a brush? Okay I just spent several minutes googling and I can’t find it. I give up.

I started using my NYX Worth the Hype mascara middle-August and mine dried up so fast… I usually use only one mascara and throw it after 3 months mark. But 2 months in and I’ll just toss it as it’s almost to dried out to properly apply. I can’t even remember when this last happened to me. 😆
Side note: For me it was not Worth the Hype (although good mascara for the price point).

Last mascara you finished? La Roche Posay Respectissime waterproof Mascara
I didn’t know La Roche-Posay made mascara, I’ll have to check that out. I love their skincare products.
I really like their mascara, it’s formulated to be absolutely nickel free and after I’ve had an allergic reaction to a drugstore mascara it’s the only mascara that doesn’t irritate my eyes.
La Roche Posay also do Eyeliners, eyeshadows, lipsticks, and foundations but I have only tried the mascara. The whole range is supposed to be good for people with sensitive skin and allergies.
Do mascaras usually have nickel in them? This could explain why I have such an awful time with them. I’m terribly allergic to nickel.
Not as an actual ingredient but the black iron oxide pigments can be contaminated with trace amounts of nickel. I think that there is a limit to how much nickel can be in cosmetic products, but people with allergies can still react to it. La Roche Posay are the only brand I know of that advertises its mascara as nickel-free and hypoallergenic.

ThaTaylaa on YouTube recommends the Physicians Formula black liquid liner, says it’s pretty much dead on the same as Trooper.
That’s great, but sadly there is no way I can access Physician’s Formular here in Germany. I’ve read somewhere that NYX do a similar liner, so maybe i’ll check that out.
Physicians Formula Liquid Liner, Kat Von D Trooper, Fenti Flyliner and Stila Stay All Day are basically the same thing from my point of (re)view. 😀 Absolutely no difference on how easy they are to apply, on pigmentation and staying power (and I use hooded oily lids).
If I managed to get a mini liner as a Sephora perk, great! I grab one; if not, I’ll just order the Physicians Formula from Amazon.
Do they all have brush tips? I always had bad experiences with felt tip liners as they tend to fray easily and aren’t as flexible…
Physicians Formula and Kat Von D have a brush tip. The Fenti lyner is theoretically a `super-flex felt tip`, but from my point of view is very close to a brush tip as well. Stila is a felt tip, but it’s easy to work with and I feel that the application is quite close to a brush (I have most times troubles with felt tip eyeliners).
But in the end this is personal opinions, if you can get to a Sephora and at least swatch the 3 `high-end` ones you would get more sense if they work for you. I usually swatch eyeliners on the back of my hand to see how much they `bleed` into skin lines and if the tip is easy to work with.

Last lipstick you wore? Wet n Wild Mochalicious. I love to blot this lipstick on over lip balm. It gives me 90’s vibes on my pale skin without making me look dead.
Last eyeliner you used? It was a ColourPop liner that irritated my eyes. It’s a gorgeous purple/brown shades that made my eyes goop up

Last lipstick you wore? Tarte Birthday Suit liquid lipstick. This is not bad and not too drying if my lips are not chapped. I wouldn’t use any liquid lip on my chapped lips though.
Last eyeliner you used? Kiss Me Heroine Make liquid eyeliner. Not the best in terms of pigmentation. No smudging under the eyes but fade quite a bit. Honestly, no eyeliner stands up to my oily monolids so this is quite expected.
Last mascara you finished? Loreal LP WP formula. Pretty good for 2 months, and then went to a clumpy mess.
Thanks for telling that liner isn’t good, as the mascara is terrific; might have been tempted.

Last mascara you finished? A deluxe sample of Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes. I never use up full-sized ones. I have to throw them every three months or I get styes.

Last lipstick used: Boots No 7 in Honey Bloom (an excellent nude for me, sort of beige pinky brown). Before that (as I recognise that’s not a well known shade) Urban Decay Vice in Venom.
Last eyeliner: upper lash line, I’ve been playing with the very dark shades from my palettes that look rubbish on my skin as eyeshadow, but before that, Urban Decay 24/7 pencil in Corrupt. Waterline: Maybelline Unstoppable in Espresso (applied very faintly, just adds a little definition)
Last mascara finished: Maybelline Full and Soft
* I’m not sure where/ how to flag this (or if it’s that important given I gather the brand is less well known in the States), but every so often I’m asked to update my skin tone based on my foundation in my vanity. I can’t remember exactly what it says, but it’s something like medium-deep and neutral, which is definitely wrong (I’m of English/ Irish heritage and my skin tone reflects that, skin usually burns and occasionally tans, silver suits me better/ clearly blue wrist veins, and this foundation shade is bang on perfect for me). Thought it worth pointing out, in any case.

Lt to med P side: just reordered the ordinary P 2 and 2.1 serum, as Brandon finally imploded. And posted, of course. Sad all around. Lips: Liquid Courage, CP. Haven’t been using liner much, eyes intermittently inflamed, don’t want to wreck them. Plus some are still missing, though I have not hunted. I think the last one was Sephora strawberry macaroon. Mascara: It Superhero. Great at the beginning, rapid crash, then chosen to be thrown out when eyes improved. I guess I get a new mini from Ulta; somebody would like it.

Last mascara you finished? I’ve never finished a mascara. My eyes are sensitive and I throw them out as soon as they make my eyes burn. I’m using It Superhero right now because Ulta gave it to me for my birthday. It doesn’t burn, always a good sign!

Last mascara finished- Benefit Roller Lash in a trial size. I’ve gone through multiple tubes, both full size and deluxe. It was my HG until I tried the Wander Beauty mascara. I’ve never been able to achieve such feathery lash before! No smears, flakes or transfer and it is easy to remove.

Last eyeliner: Ulta brand gel eyeliner. Doesn’t seem too bad so far but I haven’t had a chance to play with it yet.
Last mascara I used up: mini Too Faced BTS. 🙂 I just tried Essence false lash effect and it’s so good for the price. I’m pleasantly surprised.
