Comments that do not adhere to our comment policy may be removed. Discussion and debate are highly encouraged but we expect community members to participate respectfully. Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Your skin tone/coloring: Light-medium, warm olive
Most used lip product this month? Iconic London Melting Touch Lip Balm in Sitting Pretty. It is pretty, but doesn’t sit very long on the lips. Nice colour, comfortable wear. Reminds me to the Hourglass Volumizing Balm.
Go-to cheek products this month? Bobby Brown Pot Rouge lips and cheeks cream blush in Fresh melon, set with a nice light coral KIKO MILANO baked blush.
Favorite eye palette this month? By Terry Terribly Paris. It is so beautiful to look at!

Most used lip product this month? A tie between Maybelline SuperStay Vinyl Ink in Lippy and my new tube of an oldie, but goodie, made even better, Urban Decay’s “new formula” cream lipstick in Ravenswood. In fact I liked the new formula so much I bought Manic as well.
Go-to cheek products this month? Daily? Maybelline’s Super Stay Matte Ink in 05 Loyalist. It’s a great color for daytime, the color stays true, it stays put and my sensitive zit-prone skin loves it. I looked horrid in it as a lip color, but as a a blush it’s A+
Favorite eye palette this month? ColourPop’s That’s Taupe.

Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair with neutral to cool undertones with grey hair and brown eyes.

Most used lip product this month? Hermes Rose Epice

Go-to cheek products this month? Chanel Fleur de Printemps duo. The highlight is a bit too deep for me to use as a highlighter but I have just been swirling the two shades together and using as a blush and then using Tom Ford Rose Irise for my highlighter.

Favorite eye palette this month? The House of Sillage Mickey Mouse Collab.

Most used lip product this month? MAC lipglass in Spite – is it being discontinued?!? * sob *
Go-to cheek products this month? Hourglass Mood Exposure.
Favorite eye palette this month? None – I find myself reaching for my LM Caviar sticks in Amethyst and Vanilla Kiss.

Skin tone: Neutral, leaning warm

Most used lip product this month: MAC Tres Blase, my MLBB, which is one of their Love Me lipsticks which have sadly been discontinued. I did buy a back up, so I’m happy about that. Runner-up is Merit L’Avenue, which is a lovely burgundy but sheer for those of us who can’t handle too much darkness.

Go-to cheek products this month: MAC So Natural. I got this for free in a birthday giveaway, and I would never have tried it on it’s own, but it’s currently my best natural blush.

Favorite eye palette this month: I’ve been using MAC Brule as a base color with only eyeliner and mascara, and it’s pretty much my go-to at this point. I went back to work and my makeup has to go on in 15 minutes or less, so my patience for fussy eyeshadow has evaporated. I’ve pretty much decided that neutral mattes are where it’s at, the simpler the better.

Favorite eye palette this month? Too Faced Pumpkin Spice. It’s one of my favourite because of its versatility and I can create so many different looks, topped with a good quality !

Fair-Light Rosy-Neutral
Most used lip color? It was a weird month, not in a good way. Just trying to tread water to avoid drowning.
Having said that, the rest of this will make more sense. Armani Matte Lipstick Color 400. Pat McGrath Full Panic. But really mostly The Body Shop Hemp Lip Balm, ELF Hemp Lip Balm, REFY clear lip gloss.
Favorite Cheek Products? Pyunkang Yul Ato Moisturizing Soothing Gel Lotion
Favorite Eye Palette? A bunch of Sephora Collection Eye Shadow Sticks that were on sale for $5. With the yaygifting code starting today they will be $4! They’re pretty great. 1 that I already owned previous to the sale called Cotton Candy is a light candy pink that settles down into an almost lacquer looking finish. Looks cool honestly. Waterproof. Not irritating. Soft Thistle is a taupe-purple with a quiet shimmer. I think a lot of people would really like that. And Beige and Silver Glitter are very high impact. All still on the Sephora website. Along with 2 Pat McGrath Mothership palettes, Sublime (the one with THAT green) and Midnight Sun which after the yaygifting code come out to $62 apiece with tax!!
