Comments that do not adhere to our comment policy may be removed. Discussion and debate are highly encouraged but we expect community members to participate respectfully. Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Your skin tone/coloring: ^
Most missed discontinued lip product? UD Biker Lip Gunk and NARS Cherry Bomb liquid to matte.
Most missed discontinued palette? I feel like palettes kind of come and go so fast it’s not usually a big deal anymore?
Most missed discontinued cheek product? MAC Hushabye blush. So soft and pretty.

Thank you for mentioning Hushabye. I’ve not used it in such a long time and had it in the drawer where I store items when I have to make room to use other makeup more easily. I took it out last night to wear today. No one but me was able to see it but after I put it on this morning, I remembered why I’ve been in love with it since way back when I got it. I loved the Sheertone finish too but I loved Sheertone Shimmer even more…

Your skin tone/coloring: pale, cool
Most missed discontinued lip product? probably the BITE bullet lipsticks generally…. If I had to choose a specific lipstick, it would be a really old (30+ years) slightly-but-not-too-warm autumnal red shade from Estee Lauder. It might have been called Datenut Red. It was gorgeous.
Most missed discontinued palette? Urban Decay Naked (the original)
Most missed discontinued cheek product? MAC Sweet Sentiment blush

Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name (blue-green eyes, dark hair).

Most missed discontinued lip product? MAC Ultimate Lipstick formula, especially Márque! Also, UD Catfight in their Revolution formula and Broken in the Vice formula. I have b/ups in my fridge of Marque and Catfight!

Most missed discontinued palette? Not DC’d, but LE; Chanel Empriente du Desert. It SHOULD be a permanent quad. It is the most perfect marriage of sage green, pale gold, coppery bronze and deep, almost olive bronze. Makes my eyes look very bright and really brings out the green in them!

Most missed discontinued cheek product? Again. Urban Decay. Their amazeballs Afterglow Blush formula. Like, why UD???

I’m with you, sister – on Chanel E du D but especially on that entire line of UD blushes and highlighters too – that Afterglow formula was just divine and I also don’t understand why they scrapped the whole line.

Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.

Most missed discontinued lip product? Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipsticks

Most missed discontinued palette? Urban Decay Electric and Naked Basics Palettes

Most missed discontinued cheek product? Urban Decay Afterglow Blushes; Too Faced Love Flush Blushes

Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones

Most missed discontinued lip product? There’s been quite a few over the years, but the most recent one is Milani’s Cinnamon Spice.

Most missed discontinued palette? Tom Ford’s Emerald Lust palette (why he doesn’t revive this one, I’ll never know) and for singles, it would have to be Colour Pop’s Snakebite.

Most missed discontinued cheek product? I don’t really have a cheek product I’ve missed, as brands are always bringing out new and improved coral blushes for me.

I was just reading Nancy’s comment – and I absolutely agree with her about Chanel’s Empriente du Desert -I missed out on that and I wish I could have bought this one when it was available.

skin tone/coloring:
Most missed d/c lip product? Almost all Bite products in general. If choosing one, I might go waaaay back to Musk in the first run of bullets. And lip pencil #36. I know, that’s 2, but Bite discontinued EVERYTHING (and I hate them now). : P
Most missed d/c palette? None, really.
Most missed d/c cheek product? I still have some left, but I will honestly cry when my UD Afterglow in Rapture runs out. I loooove a plum blush, but all other plums turn peach on me. Rapture though… it’s just perfection.

Your skin tone/coloring: pale, cool skin (foundation matches: Fenty Pro Filt’r 110, Urban Decay All Nighter 2.5, NARS Natural Radiant Longwear 2.0 Mont Blanc, Kevyn Aucoin The Etherealist Light EF 02, L’Oreal True Match C3 Creamy Natural), gray eyes, brown hair with red highlights and scattered blonde/blue strands. My everyday base products are Fenty-Amber Match Stick as cheek contour and Pro Filt’r concealer and Soft Matte foundation in 110.
Most missed discontinued lip product? The Thin Lizzy shade of KVD Studded Kiss lipstick or the UD Pocket Rocket glosses with the clothed-to-undies lenticular male pinups on the wand handle!
Most missed discontinued palette? It’s LE, but the only thing I can think of is that I missed out on KVD Saint and Sinner-by the time I decided I wanted it, it was already sold out.
Most missed discontinued cheek product? NARS Satellite of Love highlighting blush-a gold blush/highlighter that’s actually pale enough for me to wear!

Most missed discontinued lip product? Bite Amuse Bouches. It was my first Sephora birthday gift when I was first getting into makeup so I didn’t have a lot of time with them before they were discontinued

Most missed discontinued palette? Rimmel London has started discontinuing some of their earlier Magnif’eyes shadow palettes, including Grunge Glamour, my first ever eyeshadow palette

Most missed discontinued cheek product? For the longest time I used this Clinique blush passed down by my mom and I wasn’t allowed to buy new blushes because I already had the one she gave me (she didn’t believe makeup expired). This was a super old blush (I couldn’t find anything about it, all I know is that it was a powder blush from Clinique with light jade packaging, probably 90s/00s) and I’m so lucky I didn’t break out or worse from it, but I used this blush for years so I remember it fondly

Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.

Most missed discontinued lip product? Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick in Musk and Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Virgo (my two most favorite lip products). Thankfully I still have a bit of Musk and a decent amount of Virgo left, but I will be SO sad when they’re finished.

Most missed discontinued palette? Urban Decay Electric palette. I didn’t appreciate that palette nearly enough when I had it, but I think if I had it now, I would use it a lot. It was so good!

Most missed discontinued cheek product? The Kaleidos Makeup Blushes they came out with earlier this year; I really wanted to try them, but never got a chance.

Luminous Creme! I couldn’t remember the name of the line. They had a BB for Lips too that I LOVED. Sigh! So many great products they senselessly did away with.

Your skin tone/coloring: medium, warm/golden
Most missed discontinued lip product? Urban Decay Sheer Liar (Sheer Revolution formula, NOT Vice!!)
