Favorite product this month? The Body Shop Brush on Radiance highlighter (an oldie but a goodie)
Most used face/cheek product this month? The Body Shop Brush on Radiance highlighter
Most used eye product this month? I used no eye makeup products this past month
I’ve been dealing with a depression flare up so the Brush on Radiance is the only makeup product I have used in months. It was for a party I hyped myself into attending. I look forward to when I feel better and will start wearing more makeup again.
❤️❤️
Hope you feel better soon
Thank you.
I hope you’ll feel better soon.
I also suffer from depression, chronic, so I sort of know what you are dealing with.
Take care.
Likewise <3
I hope you feel better soon. I get bouts of depression to go along with my constant anxiety. I feel for you.
Thank you. Take care <3
Take care and I hope that your depression flare up will pass soon.
I feel for you and hope you get better ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I hope you feel better soon. I recently restarted on Zoloft and am so, so, so glad that I did; it was an awful 6 months prior, for myself and my family. Wishing you brighter days ahead!
fair neutral
favorite product this month has been a new Tom Ford lipstick, in Venus Rising
Most used face product has been Hourglass foundation stick in Vanilla
Most used eye product was Huda Rose Gold Palette
Fair-light with cool/pink undertones
Favorite product:
Most used face/cheek product: for base, it’s my Nars Velvet Matte Skin Tint, mixed with the Tony Moly Banana Sleeping Pack, plus my Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. For color products, it’s been the Colourpop Super Shock Blush in “Between the Sheets” and Super Shock Highlight in “Lunch Money”
Most used eye product: I’ve been relying on eyeshadow singles rather than palettes recently, so a combo of those (mostly Colourpop)
Full disclosure, I got out of school for the summer at the end of April so I’ve worn makeup about 3 times this whole month. All of my products mentioned are basically staples I’ve been using the last 3 months, nothing is new.
That’s great MacKenzie to use up all your products in your stash. I regularly rotate mine and am often surprised to discover all over again why I purchased them and love them.
It’s a great feeling when school finishes… I hope you are enjoying your freedom.
Your skin tone/coloring: Light/medium, warm/yellow undertones
Favorite product this month? Becca Luminous Bronze Light bronzer
Most used face/cheek product this month? Becca Chrissy Teigen palette – trying to figure out whether I like it
Most used eye product this month? This is REALLY old, but I dug out my Urban Decay Pulp Fiction e/s palette which I’ve been using for the browbone and crease and if I need a good black shadow
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair/light with neutral undertones.
Favorite product this month? Urban Decay’s Jean-Michel Basquiat Tenant eyeshadow palette.
Most used face/cheek product this month? CoverGirl’s Classic Color Blush in Soft Mink! My classic go-to blush.
Most used eye product this month? The Meet Matt(e) Trimony palette by TheBalm!
Skintone: Medium warm (MAC NC30, Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk 5.75, Born This Way Natural Beige)
Favorite products this month: May was one of the best months this year and my list of favorites includes 12 products. If I bring it down to the top three, it would be Marc Jacob’s LE O!mega Bronzer in Tan-Tastic, Marc Jacob’s Re(cover) Perfecting Setting Mist, and Chanel’s Jardin’s Eclatants eyeshadow quad. For tools, I LOVE my new Chikuhodo R-C2 blush brush. This brush can make blushes that were too light for me actually show up on my skintone.
Most used face product: Marc Jacob’s O!Mega bronzer.
Most used eye product: I spent most of the month with my new Chanel Quads in Jardin Lumieres, Jardin Eclatants, Codes Subtils, and Codes Elegants. I also frequently dipped into my new NARS Duos in Old Church Street and
Rue Allent.
Hi Tammy!
Your opinion of Jardin Lumieres?
And, ooooooh, I so want that bronzer!
I like Jardin Lumieres but of the four quads I bought from Chanel in 2017, it is my least favorite. I could have lived without it but now that I have it, I enjoy using it.
Your skin tone/coloring: fair warm (NC10-ish), blue eyes, light brown hair with copper highlights
Favorite product this month? UD lovelight lipstick — rediscovered it in back of a drawer, it’s still just right color on me
Most used face/cheek product this month? Nothing new…so the staples of L. Geller baked blush in Pink Grapefruit, Smashbox Camera Ready foundation in fair/light.
Most used eye product this month? Viseart Nuance palette. Am enjoying the pink/purple that adds a little something to my every day/work day look.
Your skin tone/coloring:
Very fair, olive undertones (MAC NC10, IT Cosmetics Fair, MUFE Y215). Hazel eyes and dark auburn hair (almost black now!)
Favorite product this month?
I got the Estee Edit Metallishadow in Meteor Shower and while it’s not really a groundbreaking product, I like it a lot! The color is really cool, and the cream part is not too creamy, not too stiff. I still prefer the TF product in similar packaging because although the cream portion is SUPER creamy, it sets down beautifully. The Metallishadow is very nice, though, and the price is much better!
Most used face/cheek product this month?
Ooh, the IT Cosmetics CC Cream! I got it about a month or two ago and I’ve been loving it! I still like the finish and wear of the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer better but since that one oxidizes like NUTS I can’t wear it at all. This one is still getting a lot of love, though, since the color is spot-on and it doesn’t oxidize at all! Plus, it wears shockingly well for a CC cream (8+ hours of looking amazing on my skin).
Most used eye product this month?
Honestly? I’ve barely worn any eye makeup, only mascara maybe once a week. I’m going to go with tinted brow gel (Anastasia in Auburn) because I wore that every time I wore makeup at all!
Your skin tone/coloring: Very Fair/Cool
Favorite product this month? The Dior Addict Lacquer Stick in Sulfurous. It’s such a beautiful bold color, I like wearing it with simple face and eye. I was out at the mall the other day and got stopped constantly by people complimenting the color and asking what it was so they could go find it. I’m wearing it as often as possible and I have a ton of new lip products in right now.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Probably a tie between my Tom Ford Terra bronzer and Armani Fluid Sheer #2
Most used eye product this month? Chantecaille Faux Cils Mascara
Oh, I will have to try that Dior lipstick! How does it wear?
Beautifully in my opinion. It’s very hydrating and has a lot of sheen on it; there is a lot of slip to it because of the hydration but it doesn’t migrate around or off my lips. Through wear and drinking, the shine wears down but the pigment stays behind for several hours and no drying feeling on the lips. Sulfurous is a bold plum red and I just picked up Sassy (deep fuchsia) but I haven’t worn that one yet. There is something about this formula in a bold shade that knocks it out of the park. Obsessed is completely overused in beauty blogs and Youtube, but it’s the best way to describe how I feel about this color and formula. It’s one of those that you’ll have to pry from my cold, dead hands….
Thanks for the info! I will definitely give that lipstick a try.
Janet, I am–like Lea–blown away by the formula of the Dior Addict Lacquer Sticks. I buy 2-4 lipsticks a month, have been crazy about make up for 30 years, and this might just be the best formula I’ve ever tried. I would highly recommend you try them!
Your skintone/ coloring: Medium w/ olive undertones MAC NC37 or Lancôme Teint Idole 24H in N360, deep brunette, eyes w/ gold flecks.
Favorite product this month: Everything Fruity Juicy! Plus Jouer’s summer collection, too!
Most used face/ cheek product this month: MAC Oh My, Passion Pearlmate, UD Jawbone and Now’s The Time. Perfect combo!
Most used eye product this month: MAC Oh My Banana 6-pan palette and Chanel Empriente du Desert quad!
Your skin tone/coloring: Light Neutral
Favorite product this month? NARS Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder
Most used face/cheek product this month? Yves Saint Laurent Youth Liberator Serum Foundation SPF 20
Most used eye product this month? Sephora Outrageous Curl Mascara
NARS translucent powder is perfect for the under eye area, very very silky and lightweight yet provides industrial strength and duration (for the face, too). Only con, it gives photo flashbacks if you apply it heavily and not blend it a lot. The YSL foundation is really nothing special and I do not recommend, I just want to finish it plus I need that extra SPF due to several exfoliations I do in my routine these days. Also, there is no need for such strong fragrance in a full face product. The mascara is another one which is not my favourite and I want it to finish, I just cannot help messing my eye makeup while applying and I can’t say it holds that “outrageous” curl. I have other mascaras without that claim, that provide perfecty curly and longer lashes.
Skintone: NC23! Light medium with prominent yellow undertones. Warm brown curly hair, dark hazel eyes
Favourite product this month: this is a general one, but my MUFE artist shadows! I own 6 full sized ones, and 6 minis. And iv been doing a neutral eye look on my upper lids using them, and then taking a pencil brush and running a glittery blue/purple artis shadow under my lower lashes! So summery and pretty!
Most used cheek/face product this month: I got a tarte Amazonian clay blush in Sweet, and it’s beautiful for summer! It’s a pinky coral, with golden shimmers. It lasts all day on my oily skin, and blends like a dream. I’ve used it so much this month!
Most used eye product this month: my favourite eye product this month has to be ELF’s liquid eye shadows! When I first got them, I thought they were too sheer, and creased easily. Turns out I was using them wrong! Now I think they’re beautiful! I have rose gold, and liquid gold.
I love the MUFE artist shadows! They are holy grail for me.
What colour is your favourite? (Mine is peacock.)
Dana, girl you’re killing me! Making me pick just one ahaha 😉
I adore:
D-926 – a glittery purple/blue. It’s stunning as a liner!
D-716 – a pinky ivory base, with white glitter flecks. Beautiful on the lids!
D-826 – a muted nettalic burgundy with reddish flecks of glitter. My favourite one and done eye shadow!
And I guess my all time favourite multipurpose one, ME-512, a mettalic gold! I love it as a highlight on my face and mostly use it that way. Or as a lid brightener 😀
Shannon, I love my MUFE shadows too. I’ll have to try creating a similar look. It sounds nice and summery.
I hope you enjoy the look Shari!!!
I love to use brighter shades I’m more scared of under the lower lashing til I’m more used to seeing myself in them!!! 😀
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair
Favorite product this month? Sephora gel mask hydrating — it’s non-greasy!
Most used face/cheek product this month? Bobbi Brown Nude finish tinted sunscreen
Most used eye product this month? Benefit Cosmetics They’re Real mascara
Your skin tone/coloring: light and warm
Favorite product this month? YSL Volupte Tint-in-Balm
Most used face/cheek product this month? Givenchy Healthy Glow powder in the summer 2017 LE compact
Most used eye product this month? bareMinerals BB eyeshadow in Elegant Taupe. I love this formula but it dries out and thickens rather quickly, so I’m using it as much as I can before having to toss it – which will likely happen within the next month.
Your skin tone/coloring: Light, medium
Favorite product this month?
Toss up as I am loving three things equally:
1) Chanel Coco Codes Harmony blush. I use it as a separate bronzer, blush, highlighter. Sometimes I swirl it all together. Sometimes I mix this and that. As an inveterate mixer, this thing is right up my alley. Plus the quality and longevity meets my sniff test and then some.
2) Tom Ford Nude Dip Eyeshadow quad
3) Guerlain Meteorites in Medium 03. A friend (my one and only friend who is into makeup) gave me her barely used container of pearls, as she is traveling a lot and is into the compact. I. LOVE. THIS. Where have I been?! (I know where….turned off on paying so much for packaging– another story….)
Most used face/cheek product this month?
See Chanel Harmony Blush and Meteorites above.
Most used eye product this month?
Tom Ford Nude Dip for sure — SOOOOO easy to use this quad. Love it. I particularly like it paired with the Chanel Noir Petrole pencil on the lash and water lines.
Yay about Guerlain Meteorites Perles! LOVE it.
Linda, You already know I love the Codes Harmony blush but I thoroughly enjoy saying it again! Just wore I think yesterday, and it always makes me happy.
You are just now trying Guerlain’s Meteorites??? My makeup is not complete without Meteorites. I have been using my pearls daily for a year with no discernible dent in product
Hi Tammy and Pearl!
Guerlain Meteorites = a glimpse into my personality = stubborn and set. LOL. 🙂 The cost that I always equated with the packaging excess kept me away for how long? I’m in my mid 50s! I’m nothing if not consistent.
Where have I been?! I have waxed poetic about a lavender based Chanel finishing powder I used in the 80s. 80s! It was discontinued and I missed it for decade…when…Meteorites are very close and had been there all along!
Anyway, Meteorites is a beautiful, beautiful product. As a last step, it is so satisfying to use to pull the look all together. Since the pearls are not really travel friendly I got the Meteorites Voyage Exceptional Compact Pearls. Tried it today and — swoon!
You know what? Meteorites is the first product in a while that has connected me with gratitude. It’s a long story, but the fact that it came to me from such knowledgeable women (you two and others), and the fact that I can have it in my life…well, it signifies more than you know. xoxo
I started using Guerlain Meteorites after watching a YT’er, Tarababyz use them as the final step in her makeup application and they looked beautiful. I use the color Claire but have thought about buying a slightly darker color and try using as a light blush. I am still on my first “can” and I use them daily. I purchased at Christmas time 2015. I know many people don’t care for the smell but I actually love it as it reminds me of my grandmother. Lilacs were her favorite flowers.
My skin tone/colouring: fair/light with neutral undertones
Favourite product this month: Milani’s Rosa Romantica as a highlight- It’s a gorgeous pinky highlight!
Most used face/cheek product: Clinique Even Better Foundation- I’m just trying to use it up.

Ooh, I love Bel Air!

Favorite product this month? Dose of Color Baked Browns and/or Marvelous Mauves palette
Most used face/cheek product this month? Pony Effect Original Ultimate Prep Primer (Korean dupe of Benefit’s The Porefessional)
Most used eye product this month? Too Faced PB&J palette
Lt-med coolish, ~ NW 15-20, KGD 013. Fave: bought far too much stuff, but am smitten by the Sephora soft traincase in the lobster pattern. I mean, lobsters! After much shuffle, think I’m keeping current rotation blush in it, with face color brushes in the lid compartment. And I figured out what to put in the Pirates compartment, those foolish double ended brushes that cannot store vertically.
Face: used Wrapped Candy quite a bit. Next month, it’s likely to be Rosee du Soir. Always say I should NEVER start a new brand. Think I’m in trouble with Surratt blush. Last summer’s fave, the DI palette, is on Ulta, for those who missed it.
Eyes: I forego eyes a lot, but prob Fruity Glades palette and cp weekend warrior. My eyes are deep set, so using the browbone color all over and leaving it for brow bone, and adding color from anything works as quick and dirty. At least I’m not dragging out the Chloe Morello palette endlessly…
I had never heard of the Chloe Morello palette before and just looked it up. My word, it is beautiful.
Your skin tone/coloring: very fair, neutral undertone
Favorite product this month? it was towards the end of the month, but l’oréal true match super-blendable makeup in w1 was a revelation

Your skin tone/coloring: Light/Medium Neutral

Your skin tone/coloring: light medium/warm with yellow undertones
Favorite product this month? Mixing ColourPop’s satin lippies in Femme and Aquarius. I cannot find a soft pink lippie that works for the life of me, so I mix those two and bam!
Most used face/cheek product this month? Not a blush fan but I’m really liking Milani’s Baked Blush in Luminoso. I also swear by BareMinerals BarePro powder foundation in silk 14 – need to go a shade darker since I’m a little tan now, but I love it
Most used eye product this month? I haven’t worn eyeshadow in months so I’ll say Tarte Shape Tape as a base (I still wear it on my eyes w/o shadow) and my Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow/Brow Wiz in Medium brown
Skintone / coloring : light NC 20 brown hair and eyes
Favorite product: Tom Ford Wicked blush
Most used cheek/face: Benefit Cheek Parade Palette or Tom Ford Wicked blush
Most used eye: UD Basquiat Gold Griot Eyeshadow Palette or Colourpop Super Shock Eyeshadows in Crimper, Sequin, Truth & Brady
Skin tone: Very fair with cool undertones.
Favorite product this month: Continues to be my Cle de Peau foundation in B10.
Most used face/cheek product this month: See above and the Chrissy Teigen palette from Becca. I really thought the highlighter would be way too dark but I like it as a highlighter and the darker rose gold highlighter works as a blush topper and eye shadow. The bronzer works if I use a light hand. Really enjoying it.
Most used eye product: An Anastasia single shadow called Stone and several duochrome shadows from Makeup Geek. Stone is a cool toned greyish taupe which is light enough to be a transition shade for me.
Skin tone/coloring: Fair with neutral undertones
Favorite product of the month? Clinique Beyond Perfecting foundation
Most used face/cheek product this month? The first half of the month, I was all about MAC Extra Dimension blush in At Dusk, and the second half, I went old-school with Nars Orgasm.
Most used eye product this month? Charlotte Tilbury Fallen Angel shadow quad and Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics.
Your skin tone/colouring: Light to fair depending on whether I’m wearing False Tan. But I’d never be darker than a light medium.
Favorite product this month? Kat Von D Everlasting Lips
Most used face/cheek product this month? Jouer Luminizing Tinted Moisuriser- I’m trying to go for lighter coverage coming into the summer months. Benefit Cheek Parade Palette-loving the Galafornia shade, so pretty with any eye look I’ve done this week.
Most used eye product this month? Kat Von D Shade & Light Eye Contour palette (loving all Kat Von D products at the moment- they really seem to suit my skin)
Your skin tone/coloring: Deep/Dark NW50
Favorite product this month? The Ordinary Skincare from Deciem
Most used face/cheek product this month? Smashbox Primer Water. I don’t use it as a powder, but I use it the same way I use MAC Fix +. It takes the cake away.
Most used eye product this month? Colour Pop Eyeshadow Singles
Skin tone : fair to medium with yellow olive undertone
Fave product : Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper. I only had a deluxe size. Love the easy precision of this liner.
Most used face/cheek product : upLo-fi blush from the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani palette. Using as bronzer.
Most used eye product : Boots No 7 mini eyeshadow. I live in U.K. And received this as GWP. using it to set my base and have hit pan.
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair cool to neutral, dark auburn hair, dark green-grey eyes.
Favorite product this month? Dior Nude Air Luminizer in 002 Pink.
Most used face/cheek product this month? The Dior Nude Air Luminizer. It looks gorgeous especially when I use Tatcha Dewy Skin Mist as well over my face, I’m 40 but this combination makes my skin look amazing.
Most used eye product this month? Jouer Springtime in Paris eye palette. It’s fun coming up with different combinations and I’m in love with the pink shade that shifts colour.
Skin tone is light medium, on the cool side/dark blond hair, blue eyes.
Favorite product is a toss up between the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue in Shade, I love it when the weather heats up, and the Estee Lauder Light, for when I want a bit more coverage. If I’ve worn makeup one of these two have served as my base.
Most Used face/cheek product is the Ambient Strobe Blush palette. I was lucky that the proportions of pigment to powder that I got in all three are just right. I hope it maintains as I work down through the pans, I think that is why I continue to use it so much, I want to see if it is going to change!
Most Used eye product. I really thought it would have been the ABH Modern Renaissance, which I finally purchased. I must be one of the few that isn’t head over heels for it. I do like the formula, and have some singles from the line, I think it is just too warm for my skill set so I have been avoiding it. I have been using a lot of singles though and reach for my Naked Basics to use Naked and Buck in my crease all the time.
Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair, yellow undertones with pink overtones
Favorite product this month? The Body Shop Strawberry body butter — it’s SO thick and perfect for my skin in the desert heat!
Most used face/cheek product this month? Tarte Double Duty foundation (the empowered gel or whatever). I’ve been testing it; other than a slight color mismatch, it’s great!
Most used eye product this month? Sephora mascara deluxe sample (something like “Lash Craft Length + Volume,” I think). It dried out pretty fast, but was lovely while it was good — definitely lengthened and thickened without clumping!
