Your skin tone/coloring: above, with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.
Product you couldn’t put down this month? My Missha M Perfect Cover BB cream. Dang, it’s so good. And also, my Too Faced BTW Concealer. These two make a perfect pair. Oh and ALSO the Beauty Bakerie Cotton Candy Champagne Blushlighter palette (specifically over any of my cream blushes) ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!
Favorite eye product this month? The ND Safari Palette. I’ve used it every single day since I got it in one capacity or another.
Favorite lip product this month? The Laneige Lip Glowy Balm and Tom Ford Casablanca. And, really, any of my glosses.
I can’t put down my Too Faced BTW Concealer as well, but I’m bored of mentioning it… and it’s also my concealer in rotation (so it’s my only one opened 😆 )… but it’s amazing…
And so cost efficient; I’ve been using it since October almost everyday and I still have product to use. 😀
Agreed, it’s amazing! I only use a tiny bit under my eyes (I don’t like how it looks on the rest of my face, oddly enough) so I’ll have it forever!
I agree. It’s my fave concealer also.
Skintone: Medium Warm (MAC NC30)
Couldn’t put down: Becca Anti-fatigue Under Eye Primer, La Mer Luminous Cushion Foundation, Giorgio Armani Power Fabric Concealer in shade 5 set with Huda Easy Bake Powder in Poundcake, and the Marc Jacobs Velvet mascara primer topped with the Velvet Nior Mascara. So impressed with all of these.
Favorite eye products: Viseart Coy and Editorial Brights palettes, used together. I don’t think I’ve ever loved two palettes more.
Favorite lip products: Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Supersize Me. I use it everyday and don’t leave home without it. A second favorite is the Pat McGrath Lust Gloss in Earth Angel. Just looking at it makes me sigh. Such a pretty gloss.
Your skin tone/coloring: medium tan with strong yellow undertones
Product you couldn’t put down this month? Pulled out all of my bronzed, Golden and tawny toned and glossy items!
Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Powder in Sunlight, Diamond eye gloss in Moonlight, MAC shaft of Gold, Bronze Fx, Surratt Chaleur and La rosee du soir, Bobbi Brown Glow Stick in Desert Sun, Marc Jacobs Tantastic, Becca Warm Honey and Nars Body Glow Monoi Oil.
I have to remind myself of the things that I have so I can resist buying all of the summer releases, especially that Natasha Denona Bronze and Glow palette, Marc jacobs dew drops in Tantalize and Fantasy (I know fantasy is from last years and I still have the same desire to buy it from last year) and all of the shimmery body stuff!!
I love summer, the sun and the long days!!
Why can’t Marc Jacobs come out with small versions of his dew drops and also the Nars Liquid blushes?!
Favorite eye product this month? Shu Uemura Hard Formula in 09 Seal Brown. So happy that I was able to try out my possible shades when I was in Japan, it beats going through the Diorshow brow styler every 3 months.
Favorite lip product this month? Surratt lip lustre in Ensoleille and L’Oréal Havana Lip Dew in Desnudo.
The L’Oréal lip dew is surprisingly moisturizing, I’ve had problems with any colourpop lip products drying me out. I should really declutter them.
Your skin tone/coloring: Light-medium warm yellow undertones, dark brown hair and eyes
Product you couldn’t put down this month? Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara
I was late to try this mascara, but I simply can’t believe how great it looks… volume, length, separation, definition, doesn’t smudge on my watery eyes…
Favorite eye product this month? MAC Scene
I think I already mentioned this, but this past weeks I rediscovered how good cooler toned shades look on me and MAC Scene is just so perfect. It looks great as a single eyeshadow look, I like it as crease or base color with taupes (like MAC Satin) or silvers (like MAC Knights Divine). Unfortunately it seems they might be discontinuing it…
Favorite lip product this month? Clinique Pep-Start Pout Restoring Night Mask
I love my lipstick, wear them everyday, but I just love the Clinique lip mask when I’m just around the house, going for a walk or hitting the gym (I actually don’t apply lip balms before bed). My lips tend to easily get dry and this product simply heals them instantly. But I’m having the feeling it’s getting discontinued.
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.
Product you couldn’t put down this month? Violet Voss The Rainbow Palette
Favorite eye product this month? Green eyeshadows
Favorite lip product this month? Sephora Collection Rouge Lacquer in Riot Girl
Aren’t those Rouge Lacquers lovely? I want to get at least 1 more and possible 2 or 3.
Yes, I love the formula! I got a Squad Goals and What’s My Secret, too. I’m debating getting one of the reds.
Your skin tone/coloring: Light neutral, green eyes, salt & pepper hair
Product you couldn’t put down this month? Of all the beautiful makeup products I own, I was addicted to one of my cheapest palettes for an everyday office looks during May: The Emily Edit Wants. I plan to use mostly Colourpop palettes for June.
Favorite eye/lip product this month? I put these two categories together because I’ve been using NYX Proof It Waterproof Eyeshadow Primer both underneath eyeshadow and along my lip line to keep lipstick from feathering (I know I’ve mentioned this several times already…sorry!).
Your skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Product you couldn’t put down this month? UD The Night King liner (I think that’s what it’s called – the teal one from the Game of Thrones collection)
Favorite eye product this month? besides the above-mentioned pencil liner, it would be Winter is Here eyeshadow (also from the same collection)
Favorite lip product this month? Sephora Rouge Lacquer lipstick in whatever the heck shade I got – I think it’s Empowered but the print is soooo small I can’t see the name.
Your skin tone/coloring: Next to my name! (blue-green eyes)
Product you couldn’t put down this month? ALL my UD GoT goodies! I have gotten some gorgeous eye looks using the palette and liners.
Favorite eye product this month? UD GoT palette and using some neglected MAC Pro Pan singles, like Shadowy Lady, Nocturnal and quite a few others.
Favorite lip product this month? Definitely that MAC x Aladdin lip combo I fell for! Friend Like Me lipstick, Diamond In The Rough Lipglass, with Nyx Mahogany SLP underneath for definition.
Your skin tone/coloring: Light medium, yellow undertones. Dark brown hair & eyes.
Product you couldn’t put down this month? Revolution Skincare Halyuronic serum – it’s coming on winter in the Southern Hemisphere and my skin has been a bit dry. This is a godsend!
Favorite eye product this month? I rediscovered LA Girl fibre mascara – long, beautifully separated wispy lashes that hold a curl all day. Love!
Favorite lip product this month? Skin & Tonic London mint lip balm.
Your skin tone/coloring:
light, MAC NC 15-20, med hair and eyes
Product you couldn’t put down this month?
Chanel Bronzer Soleil Tan. Origins Pinch Your Cheeks Blush in Rose Dust. Becca Flowerchild Blush
Favorite eye product this month?
ABH Riviera
Favorite lip product this month?
MAC Half and Half
Skin tone is very fair with pink undertones. Gray hair, medium brown eyes.
Product I can’t put down this month? My new foundation: Laura Mercier Flawless Lumiere Radiance-Perfecting Foundation in shade 1C1 Shell. I usually wear Chanel foundations, but wanted to try something new and I love it!
Favorite eye product this month? Mascara. Lots and lots of mascara. I wear glasses, so spending a lot of time on eyeshadow is wasted because no one will see it behind the glasses. BUT, thick dark lashes always stand out. In truth, I often brush my cheek colors (bronzer, blush and highlight) over the lid area for a wash of harmonious color.
Favorite lip product this month? I van’t pick just one!!! I have an addiction to lip products in all their many colors. I love a nice pop of lip color to brighten otherwise understated makeup.
My favorite nude (for my lips anyway!): Buxom Lip Polish in the shade Dolly. This one has just a hint more color than my natural lips and is perfect for when I want a no-makeup look. This is a color that will actually be on my refill list.
Thus month, I’m really loving a RED lip as well. I just discovered Elizabeth Arden’s Red Door Red. A gorgeous cool-red that goes beautifully with my skin tone.
My final favorite, absolutely can’t do without, lip product is my By Terry Baume de Rose lip balm. Since I started using it, this stuff has been a miracle worker for my lips. Another product I’ll always reorder.
Your skin tone/coloring: fair/cool skin (foundation matches: Fenty Pro Filt’r 110, Urban Decay All Nighter 2.5, NARS Natural Radiant Longwear 2.0 Mont Blanc, Kevyn Aucoin The Etherealist Light EF 02, L’Oreal True Match C3 Creamy Natural), gray eyes, brown hair with red highlights and scattered blonde/blue strands
Product you couldn’t put down this month? I’ve been using 2 Tarte Amazonian Clay blushes, Unstoppable and Paaarty, a lot this month. I think I’ll have to get a few more and expand my shade range.
Favorite eye product this month? Probably the UD Electric palette-we had 3 big tornadoes in my area Monday night (my neighborhood still hasn’t gotten our power back-I’m writing this at a local Starbucks-but my house/fence/possessions are intact; apparently all 3 only got close enough to me to knock out the power, but other areas around me had heavy damage) and I’ve had my broken old Electric palette in my go bag because it has all my favorite brights that go with my favorite shirts and I just have to switch out mascaras and lip products each day.
Favorite lip product this month? This month it’s probably a 3-way tie of Marc Jacobs Enamored Ch-ch-Changes, UDxGoT Cersei, and UDxGoT Dany.
Incidentally, I only realized a couple weeks ago that MacKenzie G lives about a half hour from me. MacKenzie, whenever you get the chance, I’d like you to reply under this comment and let us know you’re OK-tornadoes and all.
Gosh Nikki, I hope you get your power restored fairly soon, as we have been reading and hearing about your tornadoes here in Melbourne Aus. They look ferocious and have devastated many communities across the US. I hope MacKenzie is OK too.
It must be terrifying for you all, never knowing when the tornadoes are going to hit your area.
Thanks for your well-wishes! I’m running errands right now, but my next-door neighbor texted me that our power’s back.
These tornadoes were EF3-so about medium-strength on the scale. Apparently they all went right around my neighborhood.
Luckily, our meteorologists are vigilant and can usually give us at least a few minutes’ warning-in this case I turned on the TV and found out about them about a half hour before they hit. It’s not really all that scary, though-usually my area gets something like one semi-large tornado and a few really small ones per tornado season.
Nikki — I’m hoping you and your house are OK. Same to MacKenzie G.
My house and I are OK. There wasn’t much damage-it mostly went around me-and we just got power back tonight.
Glad to hear it!
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Product you couldn’t put down this month? L’Oreal’s True Match Foundation in Porcelain Rose, EA’s Sweet Peach blush and for skincare, A’kin’s Night cream.
Favorite eye product this month? Maybelline Burgundy Bar palette plus City Colour Cleo. Lorac’s Pro Metal palette has had a good workout too.
Favorite lip product this month? Foolish by Colour Pop, hands down. Next to that Maybelline’s Spice for Me and EA’s Goldmine.
Your skin tone/coloring: Hopefully listed above.
Product you couldn’t put down this month? The Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Stick. So easy to use! The first makeup in stick formula that I’ve ever liked. Love the control too, from sheer to medium coverage, I am concerned with how fast I am using it and that I’m neglecting every other base product in my stash.
Favorite eye product this month? I’ve been using UD Naked Basics and Naked Basics 2 to contour my eye area. My goal has been to look like I’m just wearing mascara and liner on my eyes.
Favorite lip product this month: I’ve been switching around but they have all been comparable to UD Sheer Rapture.
? Your skin tone/coloring: Light neutral beige with a hint of olive
? Product you couldn’t put down this month? Charlotte Tilbury Glowgasm – Light
? Favorite eye product this month? I’m having a thing and reloving PMG MTHRSHIP Subliminal Platinum bronze. I love how the palette has beautiful metallic neutral neutrals: Telepathic Taupe, Smoke and Mirrors, Ritualistic and Platinize are gorgeous. I also really love the matte Deep Velvet.
? Favorite lip product this month? Tie between Hourglass Unreal in Provoke and MAC Aladdin Friend Like Me. They look fantastic together as well; both a pinky beige.
I want those little red lip bullet points! How did you make them?
Emoji from my iPad/iPhone. I was feeling the need for some interesting bullet points.
Skin tone/Coloring: tan, dark brown hair, dark green eyes.
Product I couldn’t put down: Cover Fx Illuminating Setting Spray. I feel like this is the one every month. It makes my skin look that good. Whenever I stop using it and then start again, I’m always like “why do I ever not use this?”
Favorite Eye Product: Just started using Nars Skin Deep palette. In. Love.
Favorite Lip Product: Colourpop liner in As If. It’s a pale beige that keeps my lipstick or gloss its true color.
I’ll have to try that setting spray. I’ve been using UD All Nighter for years and I’m still not sure it really helps.
Skin tone: Under my name.
Product I couldn’t put down: My Emme Cosmetics Spring Garden palette. I love this palette so much. Every single shade is perfect for me. The tones, the pigmentation, the versatility. It is just my perfect spring/summer palette.
Favorite eye shadow: See above. I started putting some of the Viseart and Natasha Denona single shadows into my cart and then realized that at the price point it would be better just to buy the palette I actually want so I am going to hold off a while and then pick up the Coy Palette. Tammy has me drooling over it, LOL!!
Favorite lip product: This is a tough one since I have so many and try to not wear the same one more than once or twice a month. I have been loving my L’Oreal Colour Riche Shines this month and I have heard that there is going to be an extension of the line this summer so I am excited for that. They are very pigmented and wear well for what is essentially a gloss. They are just thick enough to remain where I put them and they don’t travel into my lip lines. They come in so many amazing shades. I will no doubt be picking up most of the extension. I might even try a nude, I know crazy, right? I never wear nudes unless you count Whirl and Twig. I saw Allana Davison wear the L’Oreal Colour Riche Shine in a nude with a lip liner and it was so beautiful on her. Of course her skin tone is 3 shades darker than mine and her lips are normally pigmented. But, I might give it a try.
