Light-Med skin tone, warm olive undertones
Every day blush is either Mac Sincere or Gingerly
I use Mac Extra Dimension blush in Fairly Precious as highlighter
MAC NC 30 Studio Fix Powder Foundation is my every day foundation
Sometimes I feel odd when I respond in here with mostly MAC products so your comment made me less awkward. 🙂
Your skin tone/coloring: Light neutral skin tone, green eyes, s&p hair
What’s your go-to everyday blush? I switch up blushes a lot, but the two that get the most use are MAC Glow Play in Blush Please and Clinique Cheek Pop in Rosy Pop.
What’s your go-to everyday highlighter? I don’t wear a highlighter every day, but if I want a subtle highlight, I use Laura Mercier Baked Highlighter 01, and if I want something brighter, I wear Dior Nude Luminizer in Pink Glow.
What’s your go-to everyday foundation? Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup in Desert Beige.
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name (blue-green eyes).
What’s your go-to everyday blush? Either Essence Satin Love or Tarte Paaaarty most of the year, around this time, I begin to use MAC Spring Flock quite often, too.
What’s your go-to everyday highlighter? For this time of year, it’s either ABH x Amrezy, or now that I have it, MAC La Leyenda.
What’s your go-to everyday foundation? For now, I’m still using Fenty Hydrating Profilt’r Hydrating Longwear foundation in 260. If I ever begin to get outdoors more and darken up a little, I will then use my MAC Pro Longwear Waterproof foundation in NC41.
Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.
What’s your go-to everyday blush? Glossier Cloud Paint in Beam topped with Em Cosmetics Magic Hour Blush at the moment.
What’s your go-to everyday highlighter? Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter for a Superstar Youth Glow.
What’s your go-to everyday foundation? Right now, L’Oreal 24 HR Freshwear Foundation.
Your skin tone/coloring: under my name
What’s your go-to everyday blush? It depends on my eye look. If my eyes are done in warm neutrals, I will use Colourpop Bardot or MJ Lines and Last Night. If my eyes are done in pinks or purples, it will be Becca Wild Honey.
What’s your go-to everyday highlighter? I don’t wear highlighter
What’s your go-to everyday foundation? My everyday Covid foundation is Trish McEvoy Beauty Balm in shade 1.5 but my regular one is the sadly discontinued CYO Lifeproof. I have three or four backups.
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.
What’s your go-to everyday blush? I don’t have a single go-to, and rotate through my collection. If we’re talking about shades that go with just about any look, are easy to grab in a hurry, and are favorites: Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed, MAC Powder Blush in Pink Cult, Sydney Grace Pressed Blush in Paris Skies, Physicians Formula Butter Blush in Plum Rose, and Milani Rose Powder Blush in Coral Cove. Most people won’t consider these “everyday” colors, but I wear UD Afterglow Blush in Bittersweet and LORAC Color Source Buildable Bush in Ultraviolet a ton, also.
What’s your go-to everyday highlighter? Again, no single go to. I often reach for something out of the ABH Glow Kit in Moonchild, one of my Looxi Beauty Highlighters, City Color Cosmetics Intense Exposure Highlighting Powder (DC), Notoriously Morbid Divinations HL in Osteomancy, or MUG HL in Celestial (DC).
What’s your go-to everyday foundation? Lately, Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick in Alabaster, as it’s older and I’m trying to use it up. I do love it, but probably won’t repurchase as I’ve found some newer CF and less expensive stick foundations with a shade for me. For full coverage days, Revolution Beauty Conceal + Define Full Coverage Foundation in F0.1.
Skintone / colouring – Light/medium with neutral undertone, some slight surface redness
Everyday blush – Cream blush is rms lip2cheek in the shade modest, Powder blush is e.l.f. Primer Infused blush in the shade Always Rosy
Everyday highlight – Cream formula is rms Living Luminizer or the Champagne Rose shade, Powder is a toss between ABH X Amrezy or Jouer in the shade Citrine
I don’t wear much foundation, usually Glossier Skin Perfecting Tint or a little rms “un” cover-up on surface redness areas only. If i use a tinted sunscreen then no other base product is required under blush, highlight, bronzer.
What’s your go-to everyday blush?: MAC’s Mineralize Blush in Dainty, or Etude House’s Lovely Cookie Blusher in Strawberry Choux. I mix things up a lot though.
What’s your go-to everyday highlighter?: Colourpop’s Super Shock highlighter in Flexitarian. I’m not into highlighters much.
What’s your go-to everyday foundation? Skipping foundation currently but Estee Lauder’s Double Wear, or Clio’s Kill Cover Pink Cream balm compact.
Your skin tone/coloring: light, MAC NC 20
What’s your go-to everyday blush? Clinique Nude Pop
What’s your go-to everyday highlighter? Becca Moonstone
What’s your go-to everyday foundation? Loreal Freshwear or Bare Minerals Matte Mineral Foundation
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name. Fair with cool to neutral undertones, grey hair and brown eyes.
What’s your go-to everyday blush? When I don’t know what to wear or am in a hurry, I will usually grab Tarte Exposed or Paaarty. I have formula’s that I like more but these shades go with a lot of looks and I really don’t have to think about it too much.
What’s your go-to everyday highlighter? I don’t wear highlighter everyday but when I do and when it is appropriate, I will wear Becca Pearl. It is light enough and the formula is nice. I have it both in the poured version and the powder version and if I really want a beaming highlight, I will layer them.
What’s your go-to everyday foundation? For the past month I have been using and loving, Estee Lauder Futurist Foundation. **Side note, I cannot remember the name of this foundation for love or money. I have to look it up every single time. I must have a block against the name. I am not sure about how it will hold up during the summer so will have to test that out but for now, I am happy with it. I finally got my Sephora order from the sale. I was beginning to think it would never arrive. It still says it is processing on the site but it was delivered late last night. I picked up a BB cream from Erborian so I will try that soon. Sephora must have been having some issues as I purchased a Bye Bye Undereye powder with point perks and when the container came, it was empty. I had picked it up to carry when I travel, which I purchase a lot of small point perk products that I know I like, to use for that purpose. I also didn’t get any samples, not that I care as I have a zillion of them but just seemed like they didn’t have their act together. I am sure it was Covid related. I am just thankful they went ahead with the sale.
Estee Lauder Futurist Foundation highly intrigues me… I kind of want it since I like Double Wear and I heard many good reviews… but it’s the hydrating and radiant part that stops me. I kind of like flat finishes… in normal times I would go get a sample in store.
Hi Ana Marie, I know it is hard to get a sample these days and depending where you live it might not be safe to do so. I would say get a sample when you can, safely. I really like a dewy foundation. I thought this would be dewier than it is but I just don’t powder except where I want to blend other products. I also have dry skin so I love a moisturizing foundation. Again, I don’t find this to be super moisturizing. I do like it though. I wish their was a shade just slightly darker and more neutral as the lightest shade it pretty light but the next one up is too warm. I find the coverage to be high medium and it builds okay for me. Oh well, I don’t think I am ever 100% satisfied with any foundation.
So, now that I have rambled on for a bit, my point is that I think it could look matte if you powder it and depending on how oily you skin is it likely would remain matte through a normal 8 hour day. Again, so many factors, skin type, humidity, temperature, coverage etc.
I like Estee Lauder Double Wear but again, couldn’t find a shade that was good for me and it was too matte for me. It did have good coverage though.
Deborah, I just received my last order from the Rouge Sale yesterday, the samples and the point perk that were in the package were not the ones I picked but at least I got something, and honestly I was surprised I did, the previous order I didn’t get any.
I’m glad you finally got your order.
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair, neutral, low-contrast
What’s your go-to everyday blush? Lately I’ve been reaching for Laura Geller Pink Buttercream, since it seems to flatter both warm and cool looks and is soft enough not to compete with a bold lip or eye.
What’s your go-to everyday highlighter? Natasha Denona Super Glow in 01. It’s seemed to shed fallout over the rest of my face lately, so I need to figure out how to get it to stay where I put it.
What’s your go-to everyday foundation? This one’s a lot harder since I switch it up fairly often, though I always seem to come back to Revlon Nearly Naked and Lancôme Teint Idole. Other go-to’s include Tarte RotS and Becca Aqua Luminous.
Your skin tone/coloring: Light-medium with warm yellow undertone, dark brown eyes and hair
What’s your go-to everyday blush? MAC Breath of Plum, but most likely I’ll just throw a contour like MAC Sculpt all over my cheeks and call it a day.
What’s your go-to everyday highlighter? I’m not into highlighters… I sometimes wear an illuminating shade like MAC Emphasize.
What’s your go-to everyday foundation? I use another foundation at this moment (and I only use one at a time), but my go-to everyday would be one of my favorites (Estee Lauder Double Wear, MAC Prolongwear Waterproof, Becca Ultimate Coverage) applied in a small amount and sheared-out to a medium coverage.
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
What’s your go-to everyday blush? At the moment I am using Models Prefer Peach/Coral blush. You need to tap the brush to remove the extra powder at times, but the shade is right for me and it does last quite awhile. I really want the Cover FX Monochrome duo in peach, but it is not available here (sold out).
What’s your go-to everyday highlighter? I don’t use one.
What’s your go-to everyday foundation? L’Oreal’s True Match foundation in porcelain rose. A good one.
Your skin tone/coloring: beside my name, dark brown hair/w highlights, hazel eyes
What’s your go-to everyday blush? ND Bloom Blush and Glow Palette
What’s your go-to everyday highlighter? Glow Extreme from the above Palette
What’s your go-to everyday foundation? I’m scraping out the last of my Bobbi Brown Skin Long-Wear Weightless Foundation SPF15 Oil Free Shine Control Full Cover, now to find something to replace it!
Skin tone/coloring: Medium skin tone, warm/neutral undertones
Everyday blush: Too Faced Pink Sand from the Natural Face palette
Everyday highlighter: MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Global Glow
Everyday foundation: Cover FX Pressed Mineral Foundation in G+60
Light – Yellow undertone
Nars Madly for sure (5 years strong now)
The highlighter in the CT Bronze and Glow
It cosmetics bye bye foundation
Your skin tone/coloring: Pale-yellow, blue eyes, dark hair
What’s your go-to everyday blush? Lotte London Justin or Jouer Marigold lately
What’s your go-to everyday highlighter? Becca Moonstone or the pale gold shade in Lime Crime Fairies highlight palette
What’s your go-to everyday foundation? Missha’s original BB cream or L’Oreal Infallible Fresh Wear foundation are two of the easiest for me, but I am typically mixing or lightening like a mad scientist, so I am not sure I have a true go-to. Revlon Colorstay in Buff (lightened) is a workhorse for me though!
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair neutral
What’s your go-to everyday blush? CT Pillowtalk blush (the original). I can feel the pan coming soon.
What’s your go-to everyday highlighter? I tend to wear Stila Kitten the most frequently due to how much I can sheer it out.
What’s your go-to everyday foundation? Armani Luminous Silk – the best color match I’ve ever had that doesn’t go orange or pink.
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair, warm
What’s your go-to everyday blush? Essence Satin Love or Hourglass Mood Exposure
What’s your go-to everyday highlighter? Essence 10 Heroic or Essence Nude Illusion
What’s your go-to everyday foundation? Missha BB Perfect Cover or IT CC cream
Your skin tone/coloring: Fenty Pro Filt’r 110, Urban Decay All Nighter 2.5, NARS Natural Radiant Longwear 2.0 Mont Blanc, Kevyn Aucoin The Etherealist Light EF 02, L’Oreal True Match C3 Creamy Natural), gray eyes, brown hair with red highlights and scattered blonde/blue strands. My everyday base products are Fenty-Amber Match Stick as cheek contour and Pro Filt’r concealer and Soft Matte foundation in 110.
What’s your go-to everyday blush? Unless I have a certain one in mind for a certain look, the default often ends up being ColourPop Super Shock Thnks fr th Mmrs-it’s a really pretty, versatile reddish peach (with my cool undertone, my peaches need a lot of red or pink to them), and I give it bonus points for being named after a Fall Out Boy song! Tarte blushes also get used a lot, especially Paaarty, Unstoppable, and Dollface.
What’s your go-to everyday highlighter? Using highlighter isn’t really a routine thing for me-I do it if it suits the look I’m going for-but the one I end up using most often is ColourPop x Disney Designer Midnight Masquerade Andalasia. It’s a coppery pink (also good for my undertone) and soft enough to not overpower my skin, but bright enough to stand out.
What’s your go-to everyday foundation? Listed at the end of skin tone/coloring.
Your skin tone/coloring: fair neutral N20 (N10 in the winter)
What’s your go-to everyday blush? Bare Minerals loose powder blusher in Hint or Soft Focus True (the latter is discontinued, but I still have an XL container of it!)
What’s your go-to everyday highlighter? Bare Minerals pressed powder highlighter in Whimsy. I also have the same color in the liquid formula. It’s supposed to be a ‘holographic’ pink, but in reality it’s subtle and gives that pretty ‘glow from within’ look.
What’s your go-to everyday foundation? Bare Minerals Original powder foundation. Been using it for 16 years. I tried liquids over the years, even luxury brands but I can’t deal with the patchiness, flakes, settling into pores and lines, etc. my loose powder foundation always comes out perfectly nice. I love the timesaving reliability.
