Comments that do not adhere to our comment policy may be removed. Discussion and debate are highly encouraged but we expect community members to participate respectfully. Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green eyes, warm brown hair.

Favorite coral blush? Natasha Denona Mini Bloom Highlighting Blush. Perfect summery color and has enough glow that I can skip highlight. it’s really lovely.

Favorite subtle highlighter? Lately it’s been the highlight side of the CT Contour Duo, but I also love Stila Cosmetics Heaven’s Hue Highlighter in Kitten because it can be used very subtly but also built up quite a bit too and never looks like too much.

Favorite palette for travel? I don’t travel enough to have a definitive answer for that one, but I am going out of town for the weekend and plan to bring my ND Mini Lila and a couple special singles.

Your skin tone/coloring: light, MAC NC 20

Favorite coral blush? NARS Orgasm, MAC Springsheen or Clinique Peach Pop

Favorite subtle highlighter? Chantecaille Liquid Lumiere in Sheen

Favorite palette for travel? I keep things pretty simple when I travel. I’d bring Victoria Beckham Signature/Silk or a MAC quad with eyeshadows that coordinate with the clothes I bring

Favorite coral blush? Essence Satin Coral, MAC Sweet Vision
Favorite subtle highlighter? Essence Be My Highlight
Favorite palette for travel? Probably my palette of singles but LA Girl’s Eternalize quad always gives me beautiful results and it’s nice & compact.

Your skin tone/coloring: Light + neutral u/t
Favorite coral blush? Pretty much anything but coral blush
Favorite subtle highlighter? I don’t really do subtle: ND super glow nude from the bronze cheek palette looks more subtle because it blends with my skintone.
Favorite palette for travel? ND Glam face palette (deep/dark) helps keep packing to minimal.

Your skin tone/coloring: Light neutral skin tone, green eyes, s&p hair

Favorite coral blush? Clinique Peach Pop (not sure if that qualifies as coral, but I think it’s as close to coral as I get)

Favorite subtle highlighter? Laura Mercier Matte Radiance

Favorite palette for travel? I used to take big case full of makeup on trips with multiple palettes, but nowadays I prefer to travel light, so I just take a couple Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks and maybe a couple MAC single shadows. So, no favorite travel palettes anymore!

Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name (blue-green eyes, dark hair)

Favorite coral blush? Still love MAC Spring Flock after all these years!

Favorite subtle highlighter? Lately, I’ve been loving Nars Breathless from the Afterglow Cheek Palette for that purpose. But, I do still love Laura Mercier Highlight 01, too.

Favorite palette for travel? Definitely would be Nars Unrated if I ever get to get away from here!

Your skin tone/coloring: pale, cool
Favorite coral blush? I think it would count as coral – it’s a blush in an LE IT Cosmetics, face palette and it’s surprisingly flattering in terms of colour and the finish on my skin is truly beautiful. This question has served to remind me that I really need to use this palette – especially the blush – more often.
Favorite subtle highlighter? Dior Glowing Pink Glowing Gardens (LE)
Favorite palette for travel? sigh….it’s still the original (and now dc’d) Naked palette but when I can fly again, I won’t take it for fear of losing it. So it only goes on car trips with me. For flying, it would be Smashbox Minimalist with something else thrown in for a bit of colour (maybe the Tarteist Pro Remix one (I think it was LE, so no longer available but I could cope with losing it marginally better than losing the original Naked palette).

FAVORITE PALETTE FOR TRAVEL?
Cheeks — Tarte Blush Bazaar (LE).
Eyes-/Face – Urban Decay Naked Basics (DC).

Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones

Favorite coral blush? So far, Clinique’s Melon Pop

Favorite subtle highlighter? I don’t use any highlighters.

Favorite palette for travel? Well, I am about to go on our first holiday since the pandemic started, so choosing the palettes to take will be interesting. Definitely ND’s Glam for all of my neutral eye looks and Temptalia x SG On the Horizon for some added colour.

Your skin tone/coloring: Light with neutral undertones; rosacea
Favorite coral blush? Marc Jacobs Air Blush – Flesh & Fantasy (506)
Favorite subtle highlighter? Sydney Grace – Satin Kicks
Favorite palette for travel? Sydney Grace – Enduring Love (goes everywhere with me cause it goes with every occasion) and Natasha Denona Glam Face & Eye Palette in Light

Ana Maria Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: Light medium with warm yellow undertones, dark brown hair and eyes

Favorite coral blush? I don’t like coral blushes on myself. I can do at most a peachy copper like MAC Peachtwist

Favorite subtle highlighter? As a person who doesn’t like highlighters (on myself), MAC Emphasize is the perfect illuminating product… off course, discontinued 😅

Favorite palette for travel? My custom made palette, with 15 eyeshadows on a side and 6 face powders on the other. Perfect for me everyday, but also perfect for travel since I have everything in a quite compact for.

Your skin tone/coloring: Above, grey – green eyes and dark brown hair.
Favorite coral blush? Must be NARS Orgasm, other than that I stay away from corals.
Favorite subtle highlighter? I’m not sure I have one, but I sometime use a Benefit High Beam, don’t know the name, and too lazy to go and check, I then use it under my foundation.
Favorite palette for travel? I haven’t travelled of more than a decade, as I bought my dog then and don’t want or feel the need to travel, so I’m very uncertain how to answer this question.
I do know that on my next to last time when we went o South Africa I only brought on small neutral palette with me and after two weeks, we stayed for three, I was so tired of using it I could have tossed it.
I can’t recall what I brought with me to Japan, it was the last journey I took.
I do think I’d bring ND Glam and/or a costume made palette with either MAC or SG singles.
