Favorite eye products this month? Hard to believe but I’ve been trying to use (and actually enjoying) ABH Rosette eyeshadow (yes, really, a reddish eyeshadow) and also ABH Gleam, Truffle (Glitter) and Chocolate (the satin one with a bit of shimmer, not the matte one)
Ooops – it’s not “satin” – it’s Titanium. I do wish companies wouldn’t have 3 or 4 of the same type of product with the same name or slight variations on the same name!
Mariella – did you know that Brigette’s Boutique from the States has MAC’s Craving lipstick? The online retailer ships to Australia, so they would ship to Canada too. Currently they have 9 spare tubes of this favourite lipstick of yours. I have bought a number of things from this retailer and they have all been good.

I have been lusting for one of the VB Eye Bricks, the greyish one, I can’t recall the name. Can you tell me a bit about the one you are using? Coverage, easy to blend, long lasting? They are not cheap so I would love to hear from someone I can trust, and I have a bit of an issue, trusting influencers in general. I am hoping the makeup products are worth the cost.
The pigmentation is quite good. No fall out. Super soft and easy to blend shadows. The one I have is gold and copper with a brown for definition. Not the most unique but if you like effortless and simple smoky eyes… Tweed, Tuxedo and Signature are more diverse and unique but I still quite like Silk. I have brown hair and eyes so the tones are flattering. It’s quite compact and small but it’s super hefty and lux feeling. Such a glamorous and elegant little compact. Feels much more luxurious than Charlotte Tilbury, Chanel or Tom Ford imo and more affordable than them. I think it’s worth the splurge. And if you purchase an eye luster, you can get more use out of the palette but I like topping an eye look with a pressed pigment or something like a Colourpop Super Shock or a Stila Shimmer and Glow. I wear MAC paint pot in Rubenesque to prime my eyes and I don’t really have an issue with fading or creasing. I’ve been quite obsessed with the little guy for about a month now but I’ve been into effortless and easy looks and the VB compact is perfect for that!

Once I’ve had my dogs teeth fixed, X-rayed and cleaned and maybe removing some I can think about buying makeup again. The little one had to have some of his teeth taken out and my is it costly. worth it of course, but a lot of money just flew away.
