I have been thinking about NARS Dominique for a long time — how are you liking it? My coloring is a bit lighter and a lot cooler than yours — do you think it would work for someone with lighter, cooler coloring?

Last product you resisted? MAC Charlotte Olympia Overdressed pigment. I LOVE the little jar with the spiderweb, but the color isn’t something I’d wear often enough to justify the $23 price tag.

Last product you wished you had purchased? maybe MAC Lavender Jade? but now it’s going to be permanent so yay!

I’m considering getting a backup since it’s so hard to find a good purple liner that isn’t super red-leaning, and I just saw they marked the price down to $12.25.

Resisted – 1993 Revolution lipstick. I keep convincing myself that my MAC Spice is close enough.
Caved – Colour Pop Stole the Show, mostly because I got Birthday Boy with it.
Wish I Purchased – I keep wondering if I should have picked up UDs Alice lipstick. The duochrome makes me want it, but when I swatched in store I didn’t think it would look good on me. But now I still want it.

Last product you caved on? Nars Orgasm- I bought the LE XL from Sephora

Resisted: Too Faced Peanut Butter…but that’s not likely to last very long.
Caved: I didn’t end up buying it myself (my fiance ended up buying it as a Mother’s Day gift), but the UD Alice Through the Looking Glass palette. Before that, probably the Too Faced Sweet Peach palette, which I was definitely not going to get until I saw it in person. Not that I regret it.
Wish I’d purchased: KVD Monarch. Still kicking myself over that one.
Idk that monarch was gone. That was my first nude and brown love. Surprised me; Truly great. Would not be surprised to see it reappear with a l/s, like they did before.

Last product you wished you had purchased? There are 2 – MAC Subtle Breeze Mineralize Blush from quite a few years back, and Anastasia Self-Made Palette (I would have got both Pink Champagne – which I’ve since bought as a single – and Witchy, which I crave like a mad thing)

No kidding on the Fix+. I just bought it on a whim without ever have trying it before this past weekend – it’s a total face changer!
ITA! I was really really surprised with it, as I thought it’d be based mostly on hype just because it was Mac. But it’s not like other misting sprays I’ve tried. It doesn’t just moisten skin, but elevates any foundation or concealer to HG status.

Last product you resisted? Tarte Exposed. I have a few blushes I want to make a bigger dent in before I buy such an expensive one.
Last product you caved on? ColourPop’s Vanity Fair (a dark taupe) eye shadow. My friend was doing a big order so I picked up that shade because I wasn’t paying for shipping.
Last product you wished you had purchased? IT Cosmetics Superhero mascara. It looked soooooo good when I tested it, but the cheaper travel size wasn’t at my Ulta yet. I think I’ll pick it up next time Ulta does a prestige 20% coupon.
*Last product resisted – Still resisting Viseart Boheme Ribbons. I’d love to do some bright pops of color, but can’t justify the $80, and it has too many pinks for me, wish they had included a purple or some bright mattes
*Last product caved – Chanel Empreinte quad, and so glad I did! One of Chanel’s best quads in years, you will fall in love at first swatch
*Last product you wished you had purchased -hmmm, wish I got a back up of Bite Beauty Shiraz, but afraid it would go bad. I had no idea they were DC’ing it, thought it would be re-issued under the new Amuse Bouche formula, but nope!
It’s those pinks in the Viseart palette that I want most! If Viseart ever sells trios, and one contains pinks like in the Ribbons Boheme palette, I’ll buy it in a second!

I only went into Nordstrom for the Chanel Empriente du Desert quad, but then I stopped at the TF counter, just *had to* try on Derek….walked over to Sephora to buy the eye serum, and had an impulse to just get a sample, and run back over to Nordie's for Derek! ?
Last product you wish you had purchased: As much as I love my little tube of TF Derek ( umm, a lot?), I know that I really ought to have bought that Dr. Dennis G. Eye Serum, cuz that stuff is truly amazeballs!

Resisted: virtually everything these days. T helps me resist and write off. Of the not written off/available: modern renaissance, a big Zoeva haul, Bite summer/non-summer shades, and a growing list of KB, mostly Mizon.
Caved: Chris Chang lavender lip and CCB.
Wished/had: No real regrets, second to TMS (too much stash.)

Last Product Caved: I can’t really say I caved and bought it because I hunted for it for months and finally got it about a month ago and that is the KVD Thunderstruck metallic eye shadow. I don’t regret it a bit.
Product I Regret Not Buying: Even though it is permanent I haven’t been able to find it anywhere and lust after it every time I see it mentioned and that is the Tom Ford Honeymoon eye palette. I have signed up for email notification on what seems like 100’s of sites so that if it ever gets restocked I will be notified but I am not holding my breath.

Last product you resisted? I have at least been stretching out my Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche lipstick purchases, but I couldn’t resist Lavender Jam and Taro. I held off on Squid Ink, Thistle, Rhubarb and Spritzer.

Sephora Collection Pro Press Full Coverage Complexion and Precision brushes (#66 and #67) — extremely glad I got them, they worked beautifully for applying RCMA cream foundation on my fellow esthetician students’ faces, when I’d had difficulty using other foundation brushes for the task and was reduced to using disposable sponges.
Last product you wished you had purchased? The Fresh Sugar holiday set of mini tinted lip balms. Darn it!

Last product you resisted? NARS Summer 2016 Lip Cover in Do Not Disturb. I did some research here in the swatch gallery and found that my NARS Audacious Lipstick in Annabella was a dupe.
Last product you caved on? Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick. Even though there had been good reviews on the new Vice lipstick formula, I’m a sucker and scooped up three when they went on clearance.
Last product you wished you had purchased? Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel. I wish I had splurged on my favorite cleanser instead of trying to save money by purchasing an Olay cleanser.

Last product you resisted? Don’t remember specifics, but I think it was some impulse-buy stuff at the MAC store. I tend to research stuff to death so I don’t feel like I’m resisting as it either falls into the “definite no” or “definite yes” category. I think the exceptions are pricey things (Guerlain Perles Des Neiges! So pretty but waaaay out of my price range! Still miss that I don’t have it.)

Becca’s Champagne Pop highlighter! I almost bought it last night but somehow I just closed my laptop and fell asleep. The next morning when I woke up, I saw that the new ABH glow kit was released and I bought it straight away from Beauty Bay! I think I’ll buy champagne pop another time.. ?

Anastasia Beverly Hills’ new glow kit in Sun Dipped, MAC Amorous lipstick and Luxie Beauty’s 5piece kabuki brush set. I’m actually about to order the last two as well; Amorous has been haunting me for weeks since I swatched it in the store ? And I instantly fell in love with the Luxie brushes the second I saw them online (they remind me of Zoeva’s rose gold set but not as expensive) so I want both.

I wish I had purchased Laura Geller’s Gilded Honey highlighter. It’s still available, but I recently bought something else for the same price and than ended up not liking it!

Last product you resisted? Kevyn Aucoin Neo Bronzers in Siena and Capri. Kept telling myself that I have quite enough coral and pink blushes and bronzers and highlighters, but damn, I love that gradient! I just got the Bliss gradient blush in Peach Bellini, so hopefully that’ll do me for awhile!

Last product you caved on? Nothing much really, but I did get a whole whole lot of lipsticks (especially Korean ones, they are the master in creating irresistible formulas and packaging) in multiple tones only for the pleasure of having options 🙂
Last product you wished you had purchased? Rosebud Salve in Mocha Rose instead on the original scent. Since my body cannot digest coffee anymore (no idea why!), at least I have the option of having both the scent and the benefit of ultra soft moisturized lips, ha!

Last product I resisted: I built a super pretty six eyeshadow palette on MAC during their 15% off sale, but then I resisted buying it. Although I really liked the colors, they all seemed unnecessary considering the rest of my collection. How many bronzey peachy browns do I really need?
Last product I caved on: I totally bought an Anastasia 4 eyeshadow palette. There goes my stance against materialism! In my defense I did that BEFORE the MAC sale and some of the new eyeshadows are why I didn’t need the MAC palette. I think I’ll get a lot of use out of these.
Last product I wish I’d purchased: Hard to think of anything, which is probably why I don’t need any more bronzey peachy browns!

Last product you wished you had purchased? I honestly can’t really think of anything right off. If I really want something I kind of evaluate whether I’d use it or not and either buy it or don’t. If I chose not to buy it then it was for a reason so I don’t so much regret it.

Last product caved on: tarte tartist lash paint. I’m strictly a drugstore mascara gal, because I never see enough difference for me to justify the price tag, but I sampled this and loved it. I never use a full-size tube completely up, so the guilt is real.
Last product I wish I purchased: So hard. I can think of dozens, but I also have poor self control with makeup so most of what I love I buy. I’m going to go with Nars Matte lip pencil in Walkyrie. I just can’t pull the trigger on it for some reason.

Maybelline Color Jolt lip paint in berry naughty. Surprised to find that the texture was comfy, the smell was faint and tolerable, and my lips don’t react negatively to the formula like it does to 90% of lip products out there but it is not long lasting.

Nars audacious lipstick in fanny during the beauty.com sale. Would have been a wonderful way to try out the line.
