Eyeshadow palette: don’t really use shimmers, so Urban Decay Naked basics ( the first and the new one) are my go-to’s.
I don’t usually pull off nudes very well but Velvet Teddy is unusually flattering. It’s been a really underrated lipstick IMO, but I wonder if it will get more popular with the 90s brownish colors coming into style.
i watch a lot of Youtube beauty “gurus” and let me tell you, eeeeveryone is loving velvet teddy!

I feel like there’s a lot of people who don’t like the Full Exposure palette, but it’s always worked great for me! Glad to see it’s someone else’s favorite.
Same here! I remember being so nervous about getting it because everyone HATED it, but I’m so glad I did! It’s easily in my top two palettes!
I don’t have the full palette but I have the travel sized one (it includes 8 of the 16 colors)! One of my favorite eyeshadows of all time is UD Sidecar and the texture of the shimmers in the Smashbox palette remind me of Sidecar… Everything I have done with that palette looks so beautiful on the eyes.
my coloring: pale, pale skin (as in NARS Siberia is way too dark on me) with a neutralish undertone, dark brown hair, blue eyes

blush i’ll always repurchase: NARS sin. it looks so scary in the pan, especially for someone as pale as me, but it’s soooo pretty once applied lightly
eyeshadow palette i’m using the most right now: UD naked 3. it just works really well with my skin and hair. much, much more flattering than the other two naked palettes. rosy neutrals look really romantic and lovely and i love them for everyday.
NARS Funny Face is my favorite lipstick ever. Color, wear time, texture, it’s just perfect. I rarely hear it mentioned, it makes me happy to see that someone else appreciates it. 🙂

Have you tried Deep Throat by NARS? I have always thought of it as a pinky Orgasm.
This was an excellent suggestion. I tried it out in store today and bought it on the spot. It is more pink than orgasm and works far better against my pinky fair skin. Works with a nude, pink and coral lip! I’ve been looking for a blush like this for ages. I would have never even tried deep throat if it wasn’t for this suggestion.

Hi, Sarah! It sounds like we have similar skin coloring… Orgasm pulls waaaay orange on me, but my go to blush is benefit’s Bella Bamba! It has a similar sheen & texture as orgasm, but is cooler & pinker. Highly recommend it!!

Lip color you can’t be without? Estee Lauder Powerful & I am still (after many many years) on the hunt for the perfect MLBB color.
Blush you’ll always repurchase? Nars Gaiety is a likely candidate. Although I really wish I could find a blush that was like orgasm but pinker. Mata Hari is a close second. Mac Peony petal is the perfect color, but I don’t find it lasts. Until I find a better replacement it is on the likely-to-repurchase list.
Eyeshadow palette you’re using the most right now? UD Naked 3 …although I find most of the shadows too warm i’ve been making it work.
I find these surveys and comments incredibly helpful and tend to scan the comments looking for others with fair cool toned skin. My most recent purchases were suggestions I pulled directly from comments from you ladies on this site!
I am the same. I love the more cool-toned palettes. Too Faced Glamour to go is a great palette for cool toned complexions as it has a mix of grey, silvers, golds and cream. Another favourite is Charlotte Tilbury’s the Rebel for greens and my all time favourite is Estee Lauder’s Film Noir for tonal greys. Vice 2 by Urban Decay is pretty good as well. Blushes that suit our colours are hard to come by. The best foundation I have found is Rimmel’s Match Perfection in Light Porcelain – their lightest colour. It has pink undertones and it really works. Also it is often on sale – which is great.
Mlbbs are tricky for me, too, bc I’m super fair, everything “shows up” instead of blending in. But you might try Guerlain Kiss Kiss in the color Beige Booster if you’re near a Guerlain counter. It’s not beige, it’s actually a light rose that looks natural and doesn’t have a white base.

How do you make that eyeshadow palette even work? I got it as a gift and the highlighter shades, teal, and bright purple are so sheer. Plus I find it hard to blend…
I have this, too, and don’t have any problems with the colors. On mine, the purple is super-pigmented. The teal is a little sheer, but buildable.
Have you tried a primer, and/or using a damp brush for the colors that aren’t showing up well? That might help. Best of luck.
Oh dear, I hate that it doesn’t work well for you. I admittedly mostly use the highlight colors and that gorgeous grey from the contours. I agree that the purple is more sheer than the others. I’ve only used the darkest “define” colors wet as liner, so I haven’t tried to blend them, but the light to mid-tone colors have all blended well for me. I bet if you take it to a Clinique counter, they would let you exchange it for something that would work better for you. They are usually great about that.

Eyeshadow Palette: Probably NYX Butt Naked “eyes”; it’s completely “goof-proof”, and literally takes no thought/effort.
I too love NARS’ Douceur and bought three when it came out as a LE shade, however, NARS made Douceur a permanent color. I just checked and Sephora.com has it in stock!
Interesting… I had to buy Douceur from NARS.com last year, as Sephora didn’t carry it then, and neither did any Nordstrom near me! Fortunately, I haven’t even made a dent in mine, so it should last a while, and most of my blush stash is similar in tone, so I’ll just use those more often-until I find a backup, LOL!

Lip color forever: Shiro Three Wolf Moon. It’s discontinued. It’s a vampy burgundy balm with a bit of translucency. Moisturizing, staining, and I can put it on without a mirror (if I wipe a finer down my cupid’s bow)
Blush Forever: Darling Girl to Love a Beast. Shimmery orange turns lovely coral on my ruddy cheeks. The shimmer doesn’t emphasize my pores. Goes with every lip color I’ve tried with it. Warms up my complexion sort of like bronzer but my complexion doesn’t tan so bronzer always looks weird.
Eyeshadow Palette: Lorac Champagne Dreams was my go to over the holidays. Usually it’s Wet’n’Wild Comfort Zone though.

Lip color you can’t be without? Nivea Kiss of Cherry–technically it’s just a tinted balm, but it adds the perfect amount of flushing healthy red to my lips without looking like I’m wearing lip color. 🙂 Tastes good, too.
Blush you’ll always repurchase? Tarte Exposed–it’s not my absolute favorite (I like some of the peachy Tarte blushes and all the Josie Maran Cheek Gelees), but it goes with everything and doesn’t clash with bold eye or lip looks.

Hi Aly! I recommend a lovely blush, a satin, by MAC called Dame! It is the perfect pale blue-based pink and wears so well! Well dressed is delightful as well but not the staple pale blue based pink as Dame, for sure! Otherwise, maybe Nars New Order? I still pick Dame. Any day, everyday. I hope that helps! 😀

Illamasqua Katie is a great, pale, blue-based pink, but it may be a pain to ship now that Illamasqua is no longer available in the United States. Dior Rosy Glow Blush in Petal is also quite lovely. It will scare you in the pan as it looks neon pink, but it applies as a cool-toned light pink. NARS Gaiety is another great cool-toned light pink. It also looks scary-bright in the pan, but is quite soft when applied.

Instantly turns any lip colour into its grown-up, super sexy sister with an irresistable juicy shine. I wore this over Bite Palomino the other day and was floored at how sexy and juicy my lips looked!
Blush you’ll always repurchase?: I’m way too into trying different products, but gun to my head, MAC Gingerly. Beautiful peach colour on me, just the right amount of colour!

Lip color you can’t be without? That's a really hard one since I use a different lip product every day. As much as I love bright colours it would have to be something that's wearable, something to wear to work. Some examples would be Estée Lauder Pure Colour Envy lipstick in Potent, Bobbi Brown Creamy Lip Color in Nude Pink (sadly discontinued) or MAC Angel. That's only the ones coming to mind but I just love so many lipsticks and I couldn't list them all!
Blush you’ll always repurchase? I always end up going back to MAC Mineralize blush in Dainty so I suppose it would be that one. However, I just love the limited edition MAC Mineralize blush in Moon River. I don't do back ups really since I chop and change my makeup all the time and don't tend to finish many products but I have nearly finished this blush and had to fork out a fair amount to get another one!
Eyeshadow palette you’re using the most right now? The Smashbox On The Rocks palette, the large version. I'm really liking the formula of the eyeshadows and the variety of colours. Runner up would be the Rouge Bunny Rouge Raw Garden Chronos palette. Beautiful formula and gorgeous colours but I tend to use it in conjunction with other eyeshadows/palettes since the finish of all the eyeshadows is shimmery.
Picking favourites for me is pretty hard since I like to change what I use all the time. 😀

Definitely my most used, though sometimes I also like to use theBalm Meet Matt(e) Nude with it as well as some sparkly shades from other palettes or just spice up my look with a bright eyeliner on my lash line. By far my most loved palette though, and superb just on its own as well.
