Lip product you feel most confident in? MAC Amplified Cream lipsticks, mainly in the shade Craving and also Guerlain’s Rouge Automatique (are they still being made?) in the colour Habit Rouge
Your favorite feature to emphasize? It really depends – almost always, it’s my skin (at my age, I’m pretty proud of how good it is); then I alter between lips and eyes, depending on my mood
Where in Ontario are you from? I live in a town called Bancroft. Just wondering as I often see you mention Lise Watier and they are one of my fav brands and love their seasonal collections!
Kathleen, I’m in “the Banana Belt” – Hamilton. I know of Bancroft – I used to work for the Ontario office of a major charity and we had volunteers and an office in Bancroft. Lise Watier has some fabulous products. I wish she’d expand the line of eyeshadow pencils and also of the “pot/cream” shadows they’ve come out with.

Oh lord, how am I supposed to choose^^ I always feel confident wearing lipstick, but I have to say that, strangely, over the last weeks I’ve felt more confident wearing “crazy” colors such as NYX Liquid Suede in Jet Set than while wearing more “traditional” colors.
Your favorite feature to emphasize? My eyes or my lips (or both at the same time) depending on the day and the effort I’m willing to put in getting ready

Favourite feature to emphasise – my eyes – because they are an interesting shade of grey/blue. Even though I wear glasses.

Most refreshing skincare product? Belif aqua bomb, the one for dry skin! I love how it really hydrates my skin, and leaves it plump and happy!
Lip product you feel most confident in? Kat Von D Studded Kiss lipstick in Hellbent, or MAC Rebel! I’m not a nude lip kind of gal!
Your favorite feature to emphasize? I want to say lips, because I love my full lips and bright colours. But I have severely hooded eyes, so I HAVE to emphasize them, or I look dead/asleep!

Most refreshing skincare product? I freshly washed face is always refreshing. I like the CeraVe cleansers. I also love the Clinique Take the Day Off balm because it removes every last bit of eye makeup without irritating my sensitive eyes. Traditional make up removers never completely remove my eye makeup, and usually leave my eyes feeling irritated
Lip product you feel most confident in? Usually something with color: UD matte revolution in Tilt (warm red), Coloured Raine liquid lipstick in Spiked Punch (burnt orange), Sleek True Colour Lipstick in Mystic (purple), Bite Beauty Radish, etc. I also like a nice a nice high-end neutral, like Tom Ford Ashton or Nars Anna. There’s something about applying a fancy lipstick that imparts confidence. 🙂
Your favorite feature to emphasize? My favorite makeup to do is eye makeup, so I enjoy emphasizing my eyes. Then again, I love a bright lip as well. I can skip all other makeup (even brows!) and just do a bright lip. And of course glowy skin is a must, and I am a highlighter junkie…. I guess I like variety!

Oops, meant to say Skyn Iceland Icelandic Relief Eye Cream. It’s cooling and refreshing, the texture is rather like blancmange which is a little weird but it’s nice to use. I got a deluxe sample in my M&S beauty calendar.

Most refreshing skin care? I know it sounds crazy but I still love MAC Fix Plus and in the summer there is nothing better than spraying refrigerated Fix Plus all over your face. I have mentioned before, I am pretty addicted to it. I have tried others but I keep coming back to it. Probably my most repurchased product.
Lip product you feel most confident in? MAC “Nightmoth” lip pencil with Rouge Bunny Rouge Sheer lipstick in “Perfume of His Gaze” over the top. I love my EA Red Door Red lipstick but I have to be careful wearing it as frequently happens with red lippies. I can’t relax in it but the lip pencil with the sheer lippie over it is perfect.
Feature I most like to play up? I wish I could say my lips because it is one of the first things I notice on other people but my top lip is nonexistent so I generally play up my eyes. I also really love lipstick and wish I had big beautiful lips to put the lipstick on!! I actually get the most compliments on my skin, though. I only see the flaws but everyone tells me I have amazing skin.

Most refreshing skincare product? Origins powder mask in matcha madness. A lot of people find the scent unpleasant but I just love it. It’s packed with antioxidants too.
Lip product you feel most confident in? In general, an orange or even brick toned lipstick works for my complexion the best. My favorites include NARS audacious lipstick in Jane, Kat Von D liquid lipstick in Lolita 2, Givenchy la rouge in 304 Mandarine Boléro, Mac matte lipstick in chili and Ofra liquid lipstick in Miami Fever.

Your skin tone/coloring: Fairest neutral. Currently trying trying out the Kat Von D Lock-It Foundation in Light 41 and I think I’m falling in love! A great colour and, for my taste anyway, a great foundation! A seriously awesome product that I’d recommend to any pale person who is struggling to find a really fair foundation and who likes full-coverage. ?
Most refreshing skincare product? The Rodial Dragon’s Blood Hyaluronic Tonic. It’s refreshing and hydrating on the skin! I’ve used it for years.
Lip product you feel most confident in? Lipstick in general. I’m a massive lipstick fan! I’m also obsessed with lip balms but that’s settled a bit since I found some excellent ones last year. I’ve found so many good lip products over the years that you’d think I’d stop buying them as I have too many but I feel compelled to keep trying new formulas and colours! I don’t think I’ll ever stop. ?
Your favorite feature to emphasize? My lips usually! If it’s not my lips it’s my lashes. They are very fair and pretty much invisible without mascara, but with mascara you can see just how long and curled they are. That in itself can be challenging as trying to find a flake-proof and smudge-proof mascara is hard for me but I recently discovered Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara and that stay put so well! I was pleasantly surprised. ?
