I don’t have a preference. Although I’m currently using Marcelle. It works well, but it’s not like “zomg amazing miracle remover”.

I use biore facial wipes to take off my makeup and cetaphil to cleanse and i ALWAYS remove my makeup before bed or i feel extremely uncomfortable and dirty!!!

I’ve really been loving Garnier’s makeup removing wipes, they get everything off and don’t make my eyes itchy. They’re also really gentle on my skin, it doesn’t feel raw after using them.
I use my Clarisonic with Philosophy’s Purity cleanser after removing makeup.
I always do. If I don’t I will get a ginormous zit on my face. My skin does not like makeup on at night.
definitely Neutrogena for the eyes. i tried my mom’s estee lauder eye makeup remover, and it doesn’t remove my eye makeup as nicely as neutrogena does. as for my whole face, i use baby wipes. lol i remember in an interview with beyonce on TRL, she explained that she used baby wipes to quickly remove her makeup during her tour with destiny’s child.
for cleansing, i’ve been obsessed with first aid beauty’s facial cleanser. i can feel my face feel softer and cleaner after using it.
i ALWAYS remove my makeup before going to bed, no matter how tired i am. i easily break out in acne, so i don’t want it to get worse.
My favorite makeup remover is MAC Makeup Remover Wipes – You can’t use them without washing your face after but they really do a good job of getting all of your makeup off, fast!
I use Cetaphil to wash my face after using the MAC wipes.
In the past, ive been SO BAD about taking my makeup off, but now, I wont go to bed without taking it off!

I has 2 for two different reason.
Marcelle Gentle Make-up Remover for Sensitive Eyes. Takes off everything I put on and melts really suborn waterproof liners (think MAC).
Embryolisse Lotion Micellar (No Rinse Make-Up Remover).
This will purge anything left after washing your face from your pores as well.

For Marcelle u wash after using it since it is oil based.
For Embryolisse Lotion Micellar I use after washing my face to purge anything left on my skin.

Yes i have to do it otherwise my skin gets cranky. Even if I’m extremely tired I used a Kirkland Daily Facial Cleansing Towelette to get most of it off before going to bed.

Do you use a face cleanser along with it? Sometimes, but not always, just wipe my whole face with the pad I used on my eyes if it’s not too grubby.

What’s your favorite makeup remover? “Galénic cleansing make-up remover water” or any micellar water for sensitive skin. It takes off even water-proff make up and its so gently with sensitive skin.
Do you use a face cleanser along with it? Sometimes, if I wear a lot of make up (heavy eyes, glitter, etc). I use to use some gentle cleanser by La Roche-Posay or Avene.

– Usually pretty good just because I hate the feel of foundation on my face when I sleep. I do however tend to slack if I’m not wearing a full face of makeup (i.e. some concealer+mascara)
Fave makeup remover – Lancome Huile Douceur cleansing oil and I use Purity cleanser with it.

What’s your favorite makeup remover? Caudalie cleansing water: the best & worth every dime. I think it’s even what penny pinching Sephora uses to remove customer’s makeup. No oils, no mess, hydrates, tones. Swear by it.
Do you use a face cleanser along with it? just repeat til clean for heavy makeup, it’s gentler than water. if I’m taking a whole shower I’ll usually just wash off my MU with my reg cleanser.

I do this every single night. Quite often, I take it all off as soon as I know I will be in for the night.

Do you use a face cleanser along with it? yes! although you dont need to after this cleanser, i like using a cleanser to get rid of whatever my cotton pad couldn’t. I use Shisheido’s White Lucent Brightening Cleanser.

My favorite makeup remover is Clinique by Clinique Take The Day Off Make Up Remover, however I use Sephora Collection Instant Eye Makeup Remover. Which is supposed to be a dupe, but doesn’t work nearly as well as Clinique’s.
As a face cleanser I switch between Black Opal Black Soap & St Ives Apricot Scrub Blemish & Blackhead Control.
I wish I better at removing my make-up at night.

Always remove my makeup before bed and apply moisturizer. It’s a ritual!
Best makeup remover I have ever found is Clinique’s Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm. It’s like a cleansing oil, but in balm form, so you use less. It dissolves even heavy eyemakeup and rinses clean. I do follow with a regular cleanser, Spectro Jel cleanser for blemish prone skin. And sometimes if there is a tiny bit of mascara residue I’ll use a q-tip and Neutrogenas Oil-Free eye makeup remover. I am extremely conscientious about taking off all my makeup before bed.
I don’t wear waterproof eye makeup, so if I use a good cleanser, I usually don’t have to use a separate makeup remover. Right now I’m using the L’Oreal Go 360 Clean for Sensitive Skin cleanser that comes with the scrubby brush, and that takes off my makeup really well! If I have really heavy eye makeup on, I just use a little more and focus on my eyes.
As for taking my makeup off before bed… I’m pretty good about it! I go to bed with makeup on maybe 2-3 times a year.

How good are you about taking your makeup off before bed – I’m pretty good at it, although sometimes if I am knackered I go for a lay down and fall asleep and then wake up in the middle of the night but I get up to clean it off.

I definitely still use a cleanser afterwards because I feel like make up remover doesn’t really clean and freshen up your skin, especially at night when your skin regenerates itself!Right now, my cleanser is lush’s buche de noel. 🙂

OMG I use baby oil too! I use it on a tissue or cotton ball to get off most of my eyemakeup, then I follow by washing my face with a generic Walgreen’s version of Olay Regenerist cleanser. Then, I follow-up with baby oil on a q-tip if I have any residual liner (on days I tightline, for example.)

Recently I’ve been using the Kirkland Cleansing Wipes from Costco to remove my makeup and cleanse. They work great, and are especially good at getting off all my mascara. I highly recommend them – and they’re so cheap!

remover: I just use my facewash to clean my entire face, including eye makeup (Neutragena Oil-Free Acne wash). It removes every sign of makeup and you just have to be careful to shut your eyes tight when using around that area.
cleanser: same as above
remove before bed: always! my bed is sacred, i like to feel super clean and fresh when i get into it.
Fave remover: Bliss Lid & Lash Wash. Recommended by Karen (and I keep it in the fridge too). So soothing and gets all my eye makeup off. My lids have also been less irritated since I started using this.
Cleanser: I use Mario Badescu Enzyme cleansing gel to clean the rest of my face.
Taking makeup off before bed: I always do this. I don’t even remember the last time I slept with makeup on.
My favorite is Caudalie Cleansing Water – so gentle, and removes eye makeup well (not so much on waterproof, though)

If I go to bed with makeup on, it takes me a week to get my skin looking good again, so I always cleanse.

I usually just use a face cleanser that is tough enough to remove all my makeup, I don’t often bother with a separate remover (‘cos I’m lazy like that). Laura Mercier One Step Cleanser looks and smells horrid but it does the job. Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Oil Free Acne Wash is also surprisingly good at removing eye makeup – and it smells nice!

Right now I use the clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover for Lids, Lashes, and Lips but I hate it. Pretty much just using it to use it up.
I’m pregnant and had a skin freak out, so I stopped wearing makeup (and washing my face) for about 2 month. Needless to say I was destroyed. My fiancé picked up a little kit for me at the Body Shop, the Tea Tree Oil one, to help clear my face up.
I use the Skin Clearing Facial Wash if I’m not taking a shower and Tea Tree Oil Blackhead Scrub in the shower.
I’m am SO bad at taking off my makeup. When I’m broke out I’ll do it every morning and night, then my skin clears and I slack off. Then I breakout, repeat. I’m working on getting better though!
What’s your favorite makeup remover? For eyes, I like Clean&Clear oil-free eye makeup remover. For face, Cetaphil or Spectro Jel on a cotton ball and then rinsed off.

1. What’s your favorite makeup remover?
Definitely MAC Cleanse-Off Oil. I use LUSH Ultrabland too, but Cleanse-Off Oil is easier to use when I’m lazy. It’s water-soluble and I can just spread it all over my face (eyes and all) and rinse it off. Plus, Cleanse-Off Oil is slightly better for removing really stubborn makeup.
2. Do you use a face cleanser along with it?
Every other day, I’ll just use the makeup remover as my cleanser. On the opposite days, I’ll use LUSH Angels on Bare Skin for a quick scrub to get rid of dead skin.

Pretty good, I’d say! I wear contacts, so no matter what, I always have to take them out before I crawl into bed, and as long as I’m at the sink, it’s not really any more trouble to quickly remove my makeup and wash my face.

If I wore foundation and powder, yes. Otherwise if I’m really tired and dying to sleep, I just use the magic of MAC Cleanse Off Oil because it really does get rid of all my makeup and without any sticky, smeary residue left over. It just leaves a clean feel after you use water to rinse the oil off, as you’re supposed to.

My favorite eye makeup remover is anything oil-based. I don’t really have a preference, but I need something oil-based. I don’t even wear waterproof mascara, but I find oil-based removers do a better job.
I use Soap & Glory’s Fab Pore hot cloth cleanser, but use only warm water to remove the eye makeup remover, as the Fab Pore irritates my eye area.
I’m good about taking off my makeup before bed, but prefer to take it off as soon as I get home from wherever I’ve been, as long as I don’t need to go out again after that.
Is your face acne-prone/combination? I want to try the Soap & Glory but I’m afraid it’ll break me out. If you’ve tried MAC Cleanse Off Oil, how do they compare in terms of make-up removal? Sorry for all the questions!
Favorite Makeup Remover/ Face cleanser- Laura Mercier Purifying Oil in the Rich version. Before I started using this product I was used to removing my makeup with make up wipes and then cleansing with my old cleanser. But when I switched to this laura mercier product I realized that it was incredibly good and better than makeup remover wipes. Now I just cleanse and remove my make up with the same product. If I wear a lot of eye makeup one night, I will just wash my face twice to make sure my skin is in perfect clean condition.
How good are you about taking make up off before going to bed? I personally have to be extremely compulsive about this because I have very sensitive skin. I always have to make sure that I removed every one bit of my make up before going to bed. Otherwise, i can wake up the next morning to a broken out face 🙁

Make-up remover: Any type of oil. Olive oil, grape seed oil, jojoba oil… Rub on face and remove with warm cloth. Gets off everything and super cheap and natural.
Cleanser: Not picky, just something to get the last of the oil off my face. I make my own, but I’ll use anything I get as gifts. At the moment it’s DHC’s Washing Powder or Aveda’s Tourmaline Charged Exfoliating Cleanser.

My favorite makeup remover is Clinique’s Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm. It takes off EVERYTHING!!!! I follow it with Lancome Creme Radiance Foaming Cleanser, Lancome Tonique Radiance Clarifying Toner, then Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum for Face and Eye, and Clarins Multi-Active Night Cream. I ALWAYS take my makeup off. Usually, I take it off as soon as I get home at the end of the day. I’m very adamant of that.

1. I use Sweet Almond Oil to remove makeup and it does wonders at this task as well as improving, toning and lightening my skin.
2. Yes, I use a cleanser after I wipe off the Sweet Almond Oil and then I exfoliate my skin and then apply my night time moisturizer and eye cream.
3. I try to be about 96% but there are days that all I can manage is using a Basis Facial Cleansing Wipe, rinsing my face and then applying moisturizer as I am running towards the bed.

I use all of their core makeup removing products, including the wipes, the liquid eye makeup remover, and the liquid facial cleanser. I find it to be gentle but effective. I’m not against trying others, I think next will be Sonia Kashuk’s eyemakeup remover.

My favorite makeup remover of all time is the Neutrogena Make-Up Remover Cleansing Towelettes. If I’m not in a rush to go to bed, I will then cleanse my face with Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser using a face brush. Honestly, I’m not very good at taking off my makeup every night.
