Your skin tone/coloring: Fair neutral, leaning cool. NW20 is an okay match. I am between a 1.0 and a 2.0 in UD Naked Skin. Hourglass Pearl is a perfect match.
Miracle skin product? Anything Kate Somerville, especially the Goat Milk Cream. But I also love my Boscia Tsubaki Beauty Oil.
Lip color that makes you happy? Nars lipstick in Roman Holiday. I love a pretty pink lipstick, and it’s wearable for an every day color. Brights are what make me happiest, though, I just can’t wear them every day. 🙂
Blush you always go back to? Honestly… Nars Orgasm or Amour. As much as I keep saying I’m bored of those colors, I know they make me look gorgeous. So I keep picking it up and falling back on it even if my current favorite is my Radiant Magenta Ambient Lighting Blush.

I’m light/medium.
My miracle product is Annemarie Borlind LL eye wrinkle cream. Expensive but absolutely worth it!
Lip color that makes me happy is It Cosmetics’ vitality lip flush in Pretty Woman. It’s a berry that works perfectly for me.
The blush I keep going back to is Laura Geller’s Dreamsicle. It wakes my face up when I’m looking/feeling tired.

NC15 or UD 0.5
Hope in a Jar is my miracle worker! Cleared up my acne instantly.
I love UD Scandal, and Nars Mascate.
I always go back to Benefit Dallas. It just looks perfect on me, even if I get bored of it.

Lip color that makes you happy? Petal & Honey by Fresh Sugar lip balm
Blush you always go back to? Josie maran argan color stick and Josie Maran cheek gelee

Miracle skin product? Benefit’s porefessional and Avene’s Hydrance optimale hydrating cream;
Lip color that makes me happy? I’m a nude and pink person. One lipstick that always makes me happy because it’s so beautiful and comfortable to wear is MAC’s Viva Glam II.

skin tone: fair and warm. between nc 15 and nc 20
miracle skin product: dior one essential serum. i stopped using it for awhile and then bought another bottle and it made a big difference. i also won’t be without cerave lotion and cream. a recent find is skinmedica redness relief calmplex. i think it has really toned down some of my redness!
lip color that makes me happy: purple (think dior mysterious mauve) or a great orange.
blush i always go back to: kevyn aucoin natura and guerlain 4 seasons terra-cotta bronzer (the lightest one with the one pink square- the pink makes a great blush)

Your skin tone/coloring: NW15-20 (I think!)
Miracle skin product? Kiehls Ultra Facial range and My Beauty Diary hyuralonic acid sheet masks. Recently used a sample of Nude’s ProGenius Treatment Oil and I think my skin totally adored it but I can’t tell because I used a MBD mask the day before, so it could have just been that.
Lip color that makes you happy? Warm reds. YSL Glossy Stain #9, Guerlain Rouge G Genna, Illamasqua Liable.
Blush you always go back to? Rouge Bunny Rouge Blush Wand in Titian.

Your skin tone/coloring: MAC NC20, green eyes, fair hair

Lip color that makes you happy? Kiehl’s Lip Balm #1 – the perfect sheen and glossiness that best shows natural lip color!

Blush you always go back to? MAC Warm Soul. I try to avoid it but I just can’t! It goes with everything!

Skin tone/color: Light/medium, slight yellow undertone. I wear a shade 2 in Clinique BB Cream and shade 832 in Covergirl 3 in 1 Stay Fabulous foundation. I have oily/combo skin.
Miracle Skin Product: Eucerin Daily Protection Mositurizer in SPF 30. Super lightweight, non-greasy and protects my skin beautifully
Lip color: Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Catfight. It’s close to Revlon’s Cherries in the snow, but a slightly more purple undertone as opposed to the red in Cherries.
Blush: I don’t have that many, but I usually find myself picking up Smashbox Blush Rush in Passion. It is a really beautiful, natural, matte pink on me. Current fav is Tarte 12 hour Amazonian Clay Blush in Natural Beauty. Looks like a scary red in the pan, but gives cheeks a nice flush. Perfect for winter because it makes you look like you just came inside from playing in the snow.

1. Inbetween NC45 and NC50, Golden/ Yellow undertone
2. Clean and clear daily wash
3. Flat out Fabulous by MAC
4. Sleek blush in Sahara

I am wearing FOF today. I just ordered Sahara and several other blushes and the contour powder from Sleek. Where do you order from? My bank initially declined the sale, as they were concerned someone was using my card for an oversees purchase.

You can try calling your bank ahead of time & after answering some required security questions, they may permit a one-time transaction. Or, you can go into any bank and purchase a pre-paid card. It’a a bit inconvenient, and there will be a small fee, but the only option. Or, try Amazon or ebay. HTH

-Skin tone/coloring? Fair/neutral
-Miracle skin product? I give myself a chemical peel from PCA every month or so, they help my hyper-pigmentation a lot.
-Lip color that makes you happy? Red, Purple, Pink
-Blush you always go back to? Nars Orgasm

Your skin tone/coloring: Light medium with yellow undertones

Miracle skin product? Olay Night Resurfacing Essence works wonders and good old Nivea Creme is hard to beat for an intensive night cream.

Lip color that makes you happy? Rose pink!

Blush you always go back to? I am a total blush hoor and I am not faithful in the slightest!

Your skin tone/coloring: very fair Chanel BR-12 in Vitalumiere Aqua
Miracle skin product? None, yet. 🙁
Lip color that makes you happy? Tarte Dazzled lip surgence
Blush you always go back to? NARS Madly. I wish I could find a dupe for it.

Palladio Herbal Mosaic Powder in Sun Kissed is a bit pinker, and Milani Illuminating Face Powder in Hermosa Rose is a bit lighter. Both are under $10, and may be worth a look. HTH

MAC used to make an eyeshadow/blush called Spice. Madly is the closest color to that old favorite. Someone on this blog recommended Kevin Aucoin’s Natura blush as a dupe for that . I believe Christine reviewed it recently, so you can see that color and the dupes Christine picked for it. That should give you some ideas of similar colors. If finding one that is less expensive is your goal, don’t count on it, I believe the Kevin Aucoin is up there, and so were all the brands that had dupes. I just got Revlon’s Naughty Nude blush at CVS, and I love it, but it is pinker than Madly. If you layer it over a brownish/taupe blush you could get a color that is close. Good luck!

Your skin tone/coloring: Light to medium with neutral undertones

Miracle skin product? Glam Glow Tingling & Exfoliating Mud Mask. I was really skeptical since it has been hyped up on YT. I got a sample from Sephora a while back and finally used it for the first time last week, not expecting very much. And I almost fell over when I looked in the mirror, and any sign of blackheads I had on my nose were COMPLETELY gone! Amazing! I will definitely be purchasing the full size!

Lip color that makes you happy? Too Faced La Creme Lipstick in Jelly Bean. Such a gorgeous color, makes me happy just thinking about it!

Blush you always go back to? Benefit Coralista

Your skin tone/coloring:

Fair in the winter/ light medium in the spring and summer with a pink undetone

Miracle skin product?
I religiously use Estee Lauder’s Advanced night repair- it’s worth every penny. Also, drink lots of water and make sure to eat lots of vegetables and fruit

Lip color that makes you happy?
Since I’m fair with light brownish/ blonde hair and green eyes I do tend to go towards pink hues for lips. I don’t shy away from bright colors (I love NARS Schiap- omg!) but right now I’m digging a pink long wearing lipliner (line and fill in the lips before putting on lipstick) and layering Bobbi Brown’s pink kiss on top. It’s an incredible color with a great creamy consistency.

Blush you always go back to?
Sensuous Rose by Estee Lauder. I saw you did a review of it a long time ago and I couldn’t agree more. It’s just one of those colors that goes with every skin tone and looks good year round no matter what kind of makeup you’re wearing.

I adore Estee Lauder’s New (kinda new) blush formula especially Sensuous Rose! Im so pale I can use it as a natural looking bronzer, its beautiful!
I also cant do without Advanced Night Repair. I owe my great skin to ANR and Paula’s Choice.

Your skin tone/coloring: Fair, cool-toned
Miracle skin product? Insofar as there aren’t any true miracles, I’d still have to say (after sunscreen) that Alpha Hydrox Retinol Night ResQ paired with the 12% AHA Souffle for daytime has made a huge improvement in all aspects of my skin. A “miracle” in terms of making my skin look totally flawless is IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness. I’ve recently fallen in love with the same Tsubaki Oil that Larissa mentioned, though I’m not sure it’s earned “miracle” status for me yet.
Lip color that makes you happy? Right now, it is Clinique’s Roomiest Rose Chubby Stick
Blush you always go back to? No surprises here – Tarte Natural Beauty Amazonian Clay powder blush.

Your skin tone/coloring: Light / Neutral-Cool
Miracle skin product? Amarte BB Cream!
Lip color that makes you happy? Revlon ColorBurst Lacquer in Vivacious
Blush you always go back to? 100% Pure Strawberry Blush

Your skin tone/coloring: fair/light, warm
Miracle skin product? Dermalogica exfoliant (the acid mask) and clinique moisture surge intense for my dry skin.
Lip color that makes you happy? I love so many and change it up a lot but my default is punchy pinks/berry. Years ago I went through numerous tubes of clinique black honey. Right now I’m using clinique chubby stick in chunky cherry and for a more muted look, two faced lipstick in teddy berry. Mac Fanfare is my go to pretty pink for day. For pure joy, Mac Impassioned and UD gloss stick in punch drunk make me smile every time I open them.
Blush you always go back to? BB pale pink, but my pale pink and my sister’s pale pink look totally different, so I’m not sure which of us has an off batch! Have a feeling it’s going to be clinique plum pop before long.

Never knew this would be so clinique heavy. I turn to them in the store so rarely! Guess that says something.

Your skin tone/coloring: NC50
Miracle skin product? acne.org Treatment Gel
Lip color that makes you happy? MAC Girl About Town lipglass
Blush you always go back to? Rock & Republic Shameless

Your skin tone/coloring: Light Neutral

Miracle skin product? Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Skin Exfoliant, makes my skin feel and look amazing
Lip color that makes you happy? Dior Addict lip gloss in 257 Venus, such a gorgeous shimmery nude
Blush you always go back to? MAC Blushbaby is my absolute favorite

Your skin tone/coloring:
Super pale, cool to neutral

Miracle skin product?
Lancome Hydra Gel moisture mask stuff. Genius. Expensive, but you can totally eke it out!

Lip color that makes you happy?
Either Chanel Rouge Coco in Charme or Revlon Fire and Ice. One for the memories, the other for the punchy colour!

Blush you always go back to?
Channel Affinite. Just. Gorgeous.

Skintone/ Coloring: Fairly light, very neutral; dark-featured.

Miracle Skincare: My prevalent skin issues have significantly subsided since I turned to primarily all-natural products. Pores are smaller, texture is smoother, no flakiness, among other issues. I can’t pinpoint any one product, as I switch individual products around. Another benefit-I spend far less money per year!

Lip Color: Pinky/rosey nudes, typically with a gloss.

Blush: I haven’t worn blush on a regular basis very long, so I don’t have any particular one to fall back on. However, 90% of my stash falls within the same range, with the remaining 10% not too different, that I just find myself grabbing one at random. Since they’re all fairly similar, it doesn’t really matter; I prefer a very natural shade for any face product, so everything I own tends to always work.

MAC NC50 or Covergirl Queen 825 Golden Honey
Clean & Clear Persa Gel 10% – my goto adult acne product
Mary Kay Deep Cleanser #3 (Discontinued but on the hunt 🙂
MAC Cyndi Viva Glam Lipgloss

Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair/cool
Miracle skin product? Origins Make a Difference+ Ultra-Rich Rejuvenating Cream – this product saved my skin from the biggest skin reaction of my life. I had used MAC prep + prime skin for the first time and I was violently allergic to it and one of the reactions was my facial skin. For the next month and a half, my skin was flaking, red, and there was nothing that would help. I moisturized, it did not matter, I exfoliated, it got redder, I left it alone, it got much worse, I sat in a room of steam, nothing. I was so self-conscious, I was exhibiting depressive symptoms. The last step before a dermatologist was a really hydrating moisturizer. I did research and settled on this Origins product. Within 24 hours of the first application, I saw a drastic improvement. My skin is healthy and hydrated now. It was a miracle product and works well with my other skin products, especially Origins A Perfect World skin guardian.
Lip color that makes you happy? MAC Violetta. I still have the tube from the venomous villains collection (I do not use that as it is years old-I have it new in the preferred pink palette).
Blush you always go back to? Nars Deep Throat

Your skin tone/coloring: Neutral/Warm, NC30-35
Miracle skin product: I really love Philosophy Purity Made Simple it really is a one step cleanser and takes off everything.
Lip color that makes you happy? Corals anc Fuschia Pinks
Blush you always go back to? Mac Fleur Power

Your skin tone/coloring:
Golden olive undertone, medium dark/tan skin, M·A·C NC40-42.

Miracle skin product?
Paula’s Choice CLEAR Regular Strength Acne Exfoliant;
Paula’s Choice RESIST Dark Spot Eraser 7% AHA;
Paula’s Choice RESIST Retinol Serum;
Make Up Artist Choice Transforming Anti Aging Eye Repair; and
La Roche-Posay Cicaplast.
All of those are magic!

Lip color that makes you happy?
Bright pink/fuchsia-toned coral (think Tom Ford Flamingo Lip Color) & classic blue-toned red (think Hourglass Icon Opaque Rouge)

Blush you always go back to?
Coral!!! 😀
NARS Gilda & Torrid are my all time favorite, but lately I’ve been playing with Tom Ford Flush, Chanel Intonation & Clinique Peach Pop a lot.
For much, much cheaper alternative, I also looovvveee La Femme Coral Blush on Rouge!

skintone: medium, leaning light. neutral, leaning cool
miracle: Paula’s Choice BHA 9, hands down.
happy? now this one’s weird! for either lippie or blush: one I managed to get before the vault door shut. I get very irked when I miss something which suited me well. Like Chanel Notorious. BOOO!

Happy lippie: NARS King Kong backup. Korres cherry lip gloss backups. It makes me happy I managed to get them, before…POOOOOF!
Happy blush: Nars Silvana. Now scouring Bluemercuries for Nars Gilda + Gina.

Other happy factor: clever names that are not cutesy, when the products are spot on, like Poppy’s
(Poppy King, now reincarnated as Lipstick Queen) original collection, 7 deadly sins. What’s not to like about Avarice, Anger, or Vanity, especially with great colors/application, which associated well with the names (you never forgot or got confused + pulled the wrong one….). I toss NOTHING, unless it turns + the fridge can be my preservation friend, for some formulas.

Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair, used to think I had yellow undertones but now think I’m leaning cooler.
Miracle skin product? This is gonna sound strange, but Frownies! They’re triangles of brown paper with a water activated adhesive that you paste between your eyes before you go to sleep so they keep you from frowning. They really help stop the crease between the eyebrows from getting worse. I haven’t totally eliminated my crease but it’s much better than it used to be and I don’t look as angry.
Lip color that makes you happy? Most cool bright pinks. Right now I’m loving the purply pink from the MAC Archie collection, Daddy’s Girl, I think.
Blush you always go back to? Benefit Dandelion. It’s also my oldest blush. Just a basic pink that looks very neutral on me, I can wear it with anything.

Your skin tone/coloring: Medium with yellow undertones/NC30 MAC
Miracle skin product? Phloretin CF Sérum by Skinceuticals and for makeup Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer (hide all my face imperfections)

I feel that it freshens my skin and makes doubly sure that every trace of my make up is gone. It’s also great for removing eye make up, just dampen a cotton pad with the cleanser and press it lightly against your eye for about a minute. Then you can gently remove your eye make up worth no rubbing, just light sweeps. 🙂
