Best holiday collection you’ve seen (ever!)? My favorite I can remember is MAC Snowball collection. Packaging, items offered, color selection was perfection and the quality was fantastic!

I don’t know because entire collections aren’t really my thing -I’ve never bought an entire collection – and also because I just don’t remember when it’s all over and the next Xmas comes around but I’m sure if I looked back in time, it would have been one of Chanel’s Xmas collections. One Holiday palette I bought that I really like, years and years ago, was from Too Faced – the Everything Nice palette

Blue- or orange-based red lipstick? Orange based lipsticks seem to work well on me. The blue based ones never seem to look right and end up looking too dark.
Best holiday collection you’ve seen (ever!)? Lorac’s Holiday collection 2021 – hands down the best I’ve seen because the shades speak to me.
More or less sparkle for the holiday season? As I generally loathe matte eyeshadows, I want more sparkle – but not glitter! I like soft, shimmery or satin/pearl shades. More of them please.

Best holiday collection you’ve seen (ever!)? I don’t really buy holiday collections, maybe years ago Quo had sparkly liquid eyeliners that I fell in love with at Shopper’s Drug Mart.

Best holiday collection you’ve seen (ever!)? I’ve never been WOW’d but I do purchase collections if my favorite brands combine my most loved products.

Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name (blue-green eyes, dark hair)
Blue- or orange-based red lipstick? Both! But for very different effects. Orange/coral based ones look most natural on me and meld with my peachy overtones in my skin. But blue based reds bring me the exquisite drama and glamour! Plus, make my teeth look very white (trust me, they’re not). The prettiest one, on me, has to be YSL Scout’s Red!
Best holiday collection you’ve seen (ever!)? Um, what? There’s been so many great ones over the years, therefore this is a difficult question to pinpoint just one answer to. Most recently, though, MAC has been bringing it with the “special” pieces of their holiday releases. Each year, I’ve gotten at least some of those one of a kind items. Nars had a fantastic collection a few years back based entirely on Punk couture, and I bought all 3 lipsticks and the cheek palette. Sadly, I missed out on the eyeshadow palette for that collection.
Favorite item I ever saw for a holiday collection was by Guerlain. It was a frosted glass container of Meteorites with gold stars mixed in!
More or less sparkle for the holiday season? There is something quite special about sparkly, twinkling products in the wintertime! Especiallly, eyeshadow and lipgloss. But; NO PET glitter, please.
Amen to the NO PET GLITTER, Nancy!!! And you’re right about MAC’s holiday collections. I’ve never bought them but they sure do know how to make them look festive and special (even when the quality isn’t great).

Best holiday collection you’ve seen (ever!)? Ohh, that’s a hard one! I’m still partial to PMGL holiday collection from 2020 (Celestial Divinity) because it contained shades that I was lusting after from the Star Wars collection she released previously, was a decent price for Pat and a color scheme that I’m partial to. BUT, I also love the ND Triochrome that was released last year as well… its one of my favorite palettes ever and I’m continually thinking of new ways to combine the colors together.

Best holiday collection you’ve seen (ever!)? Releases tend to get mixed up for me these days when there are so many.
I have loved some from MAC, but I can’t recall what they were called or when they came. There was a pretty blush-highlighter palette not long ago that I’m still using and I have and use some lose pigments from Christmas releases. I think my favourite ever was the Aquatic one, but I’m not sure it was for a holiday.
