Layering – I don’t own too many glosses! I’m not a huge gloss person and I’m not often tempted to buy them, so I don’t have one that I reach for regularly, because I have very few. And if I do buy them, they’re usually opaque colors that work well alone.
Lipstick – How do I choose??? Regular picks for me are NARS Blonde Venus and Schiap, MAC Girl About Town, Creme Cup, Ruby Woo… and the list goes on.
Combos – I LOVE Schiap and Girl About Town layered with this hot pink Stila gloss whose name I can’t remember. I also love Ruby Woo paired with Chanel Extrait de Gloss in Exces.
Fav gloss for for layering – any of the lighter Jose Maran shades. I tend to keep a peachy pink one and a taupy one reachable in the bathroom and also in my purse so I can grab either right now.
Fav lipstick to wear alone – all spring and summer it’s been Jose Maran’s Birthday Suit that she added to the main collection now – it’s not just what’s left from the Sephora Xmas collection set anymore.
Fav gloss/lipstick combo – any of the 2 mixes above right now – but all will change when fall hits here and I am wearing different colors/fabrics et all.

What’s your favorite gloss for layering? Probably Dazzleglasses, like Sugarrimmed and Rags to Riches. Plushglasses and Cremesheen Glasses are also great for layering.
What’s your favorite lipstick to wear alone? I don’t think I could even choose. I have lots of lipsticks that I like to wear alone.

For me it’s either one or the other. I don’t like layering because it really feels like layers. It just sits on top. It’s not something that “sinks in” to the point of where I forget I’m wearing it. But…

1.) I’m not a big gloss person at all and really only own a few. I think the two colored shades I have were actually inherited from my sister, who didn’t like the color and handed them off to me. Primarily, I use a cheap Dollar Store gloss as an overcoat on lipstick. It’s not overtly sticky, and it has a really nice shine to it.
2.) Probably my Sephora ruby red shade. It has such a great natural shine that I’ve never had to put an overcoat. I’ve gotten hours upon hours of wear out of that.
3.) I generally prefer my lipsticks matte, but I have a couple of wine shades that I’ll wear a clear gloss over it, since I think it brings out the color more.

Lipgloss/lipstick combo: Well i would wear any fuscia or pink lipstick and wear Inglot’s AMC lipgloss in shade $541 over it. I’m out of the inglot lipgloss (just ran out today).

1. NYC extreme glider lip gloss is wild orchid. It was super duper cheap and it gives any lip color a gorgeous jelly-shine and and ever so slight blue-based tint like nothing else I have ever tried can. Unfortunately it was LE and I only have 1/2 a tube left so I am rationing myself!
2. Mac Hug me. My ultimate MLBB color
3. my NYC gloss over top of anything, lol! But it looks expecially great over MAC spitfire and gem of roses.
