Comments that do not adhere to our comment policy may be removed. Discussion and debate are highly encouraged but we expect community members to participate respectfully. Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!
Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).
We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!
We try to approve comments within 24 hours (and reply to them within 72 hours) but can sometimes get behind and appreciate your patience! 🙂 If you have general feedback, product review requests, off-topic questions, or need technical support, please contact us directly. Thank you for your patience!

Oh my gosh, I cannot believe I forgot the Elf Kabuki brush for foundation! That’s probably actually my top one and I forgot it!
Do u mean the large fluffy kabuki or the new long-handle one? I like both, just curious
The large fluffy one (“Kabuki Face Brush”) with the more traditional short handle!
Ohhhhh!!! What foundation do you prefer to use the kabuki with? I’m intrigued hehe!!
I like to use it with MAC Studio Fix Fluid foundation and on the rare occasion I use Estée Lauder Double Wear. I find for whatever reason this brush is really good at blending out thicker liquid foundations!
Your skin tone/coloring: Deep Dark / NW50
Favorite powder brush? I use my beauty blender to set my concealer and the Real Techniques Powder brush or Buffing brush for the rest of my face. It depends if I’m using a colored or translucent powder.
Favorite blush brush? Elf Kabuki Brush or the Real Techniques Blush Brush…I clearly have HUGE chipmunk cheeks. lol
Favorite foundation brush? The Real Techniques Expert Face Brush! I have like 5 of them! I must say that I’ve also been enjoying the ELF Ultimate Blending brush too. It’s super soft and doesn’t feel like it was only $6.

Favorite powder brush? I dont actually know yet! This is a category I am still exploring with the bigger bronzer-type brushes and the elf Studio Complexion Brush — made of softs ?
Favorite blush brush? I like a soft tapered (not angles) and/or round synthetic brush but lately I have also been loving the NARS mini Ita type of brushes for my cheeks. I use powder formulas almost exclusively so I haven’t got that many in rotation.

Favorite blush brush? Laugh if you must, but I only have one blush brush and it’s an angled one from PUR Minerals from YEARS ago. It’s not very good but then again, not so dreadful that I’ve replaced it, so it’s “good enough” but I think I should probably treat myself to a new blush brush – maybe the angled one from the Sephora Pro Line
Favorite foundation brush? EASY – the little stubby one from Shiseido. I have 2 of them and got a 3rd for my daughter (even though she almost never wears foundation – she doesn’t need it).
Favorite powder brush? It Cosmetics, I have a kabuki that was LE for the holidays last year. These brushes are the softest on this planet.
