Your skin tone/coloring: NC20 and very, very yellow-toned (as in I-can-get-away-with-wearing-yellow-“correctors”-as-a-skintone-concealer yellow)!
What color do you feel you wear best?: The more neutral the colour, the better. Too cool-toned and it clashes with my yellow skin, but products that are more warm-toned always pull more towards orangey and look strange/muddy on me (I’m a true blue yellow!). The most neutral items I’ve found are MAC’s Beet lipliner, Brave lipstick, and the browns in the Bareminerals Enlightenment 2.0 palette.
What color do you feel is least flattering?: Cool-toned products! St Germaine and Candy Yum Yum were horrifying lipsticks on me.
Have you found a way to wear your āleast flatteringā in a flattering way?: I have not š I could probably pull them off if I wore them sheer, but where’s the fun in that, really! For cool-toned blushes, I’ve steered away from intense shades like Nars Gaiety and more towards pastel shades like MAC’s Full of Joy, which look just as its supposed to even if I wear them sheer.

What color do you feel is least flattering?: My hair color is naturally kind of brassy and blue-toned purples accentuate that the worst.

Have you found a way to wear your āleast flatteringā in a flattering way? Alas, no. I have a lot of contrast between my hair/eyes and my skin. Mustard actually manages to dull away the contrast. It’s the one color I’ve never been able to find a way to make work for me.

What color do you feel is least flattering? Cool neutrals such as taupes and greys for the eyes make me look like a corpse, and cool-toned light lippies complete the look. I can wear most blushes though.

Your skin tone/coloring: Medium-tan with golden undertones (NC35)
What color do you feel you wear best? Orangey red on the lips (MAC Lady Danger, my favorite!) or warm metallics on the eyes (coppers, bronzes, golds). Stila Comex Gold is my favorite in this category right now.
What color do you feel is least flattering? Blue-based light pinks (MAC St Germain)
Have you found a way to wear your āleast flatteringā in a flattering way? I can pull off a blue-based bright pink blush like NARS Desire (one of my favorites, actually), but light pink blushes usually don’t show up on my skin. On the lips, I haven’t figured out a way to make cool light pinks look flattering, but I can style my outfit and makeup so that the unflattering lip color fits (the mod look with pale lips and graphic liner, for example). I don’t necessarily think that a color has to flatter your coloring in order to look good. Recently I’ve been loving greyish taupe and lavender lipsticks, and they make me look kind of dead but I like it! How good your makeup looks is all down to how comfortable you are in it. Might be cheesy and repetitive, but it’s true!

Have you found a way to wear your āleast flatteringā in a flattering way? Not really. I can do colors like cream with a yellowish tone to them as inner corner eye highlights, I can get away with gold sometimes, but almost never true yellows.
Skin tone/coloring: Light-Medium (NC 20-25)
Color I wear best: Oddly enough, I prefer cool, blue-based colors on me although I have a decidedly warm complexion. Purple/blue/turquoise/grey/taupe are my friends.
Least flattering color: Orange.

I would blend in a little bit purple tone in my lip product just to give it a try. I use dark purple around my crease when pairing with my confident earth tone eyeshadows. I still can’t wear very blue-toned blush tho.

What color do you feel you wear best? Purple. I suit brighter colours- jewel tones and such like. As much as I love to make a statement with teal I feel more comfortable in purple because I believe it goes better with my skintone.
What color do you feel is least flattering? Pale blue. Sky blue. Powder blue. Anything like that, and pastel colours in general, do not look good on me!
Have you found a way to wear your āleast flatteringā in a flattering way? Well, I rarely try since I have a real aversion to pale blue anything so I suppose I don’t really think I have. I’d give it a go and probably could make it work but I don’t have the inclination to do so! Maybe one day.
I have a couple friends who are very, very pale like you and have a lot of trouble finding any skin makeup that matches them. Do you have a brand that you like that I could pass onto them?
(Pretty much unrelated: You know, you basically have what was considered my dream look as a kid! I was Really Very Goth at ages 12~15 and the only thing I wanted in the entire world was to be paler than the palest pale with black hair. Now that I wear foundation I’m happy for my more common skintone. I still think it’s such a naturally beautiful, striking look, though.
Also, we’re both named Gillian with a G! How many times did/do you get called Gilligan, in a month, on average? I think for me it must be 100,000.)
Your skin tone/coloring: Super pale, neutral (but leaning towards blue) undertones.
What color do you feel you wear best: Red! Especially when it comes to lipsticks, any shade of red looks flattering on me (in my opinion). I think it’s because I’m so pale with black hair, it’s very Snow White-esque. š
What color do you feel is least flattering: I think it would be greens of the warmer variety.
Have you found a way to wear your āleast flatteringā in a flattering way: I’m not sure if it’s flattering, but whenever I want to wear a color I do so with pride! Honestly, I think if you seem secure in what you’re wearing and do so confidently, there’s no way you could go wrong. š

Most flattering: emerald and grass green.
Least flattering: grey. You know that pale-to-medium grey marl fabric of a lot of men’s T-shirts and sweatshirts? That kind of grey. Makes me look dead!
Way to wear it: I do have two or three grey eyeliners from sets, and I make them work with a lot of warm pink. They’re also good choices for a look where the liner goes on first and the shadow goes on over top. For lip products, shades that are too nude or too brown also make me look dead, but those can usually be rescued by a cool pink lipliner.

Have you found a way to wear your “least flattering” colors: I don’t really try with my eyes since I’m just not a pastel kind of person. I’m actually looking for an orange lip color that will work because I’m kind of an over the top fan when it comes to my baseball team and their colors are orange and black.

Found a way to wearing “least flattering” in flattering way? Actually, my acknowledgement that I simply can’t wear those colors, no matter how hard I tried, was quite freeing. I gave all the unusable products away to a friend who could wear them and I decided to spend my money on things that made sense on me, not things I never would find suitable.
Your skin tone/coloring: Medium-dark (NARS Sheer Glow Tahoe)
What color do you feel you wear best? I think I look really good with medium or dark pinks, personally! NARS Audacious Fanny is my current love.

Skin Tone: medium dark neutral/golden undertones.
What color do you feel you wear best? Warm sunset colors ( bronze, gold, red, orange, etc) and jewel tones ( purple, green, blue, etc). At makeup counters MUAs always saddle me with rosy plum lipsticks and blushes.
What color is the least flattering? Cool toned baby pink. Even as a kid I didn’t like baby pink because it reminded me of Pepto Bismol.
Have I found a way to wear it? Sure, I have – I wear warm pink eyeshadows and blushes. I love Mac’s Rose e/s and the Naked 3 palette. My only pink regret is my Tarte Exposed blush. It’s such a pretty nude pink blush, but my golden brown cheeks just washes it out (lol). I’m determined to wear it so I’m experimenting with warmer pink/plum blushes to pair with it.
I adore that Exposed blush from Tarte lol!! One of the very few pink makeup items I own.

I think anybody can wear any color. It’s just a matter of finding the right shades. If I like a color, I’ll find a shade of it I can wear. If I love a particular shade, I’ll wear it in small amounts, or pair it with something that makes it flattering. Examples: If I really want pastel blue eyecolor, I’ll wear it as lower lash liner, or pair it more flattering purples. Nude lips: I’ll go a little darker, pinker and browner, or add a shimmery gloss on top. Some vampy lipsticks give me “corpse face” (especially dark blues, browns and blacks), so I wear a warmer, brighter blush with them.
Skin tone – very fair, porcelain skin
Best colour: greens – olive, khaki, forest, mint; blues – navy, arctic; greys, some neutrals – taupe, gold
Least flattering: reds (with red hair a no-no); purples, dark browns
Incorporate least flattering colour. This is interesting because a few of my new clothes have shades of purple in them. I bought some Clinique products and received a bag of goodies. In it was a chubby stick of lavish lavender. I have used it when I have been wearing these clothes and it is quite good.
Oh and I forgot to say in least flattering -pinks of all kinds: lipsticks, blushes and eye shadows. Pinks are a definite no-no for me.

wearing: I never buy them myself, but if I get something as a present and want to put it on occassionally, I pair it with more flattering colours or I mute it with brown or grey. Have you found a way to wear your āleast flatteringā in a flattering way?: Kind of, I have a brownish-pink nude lipstick that works but brown eye-liner or shadow ages me a lot. I also have a dark orange lipstick that I like (MAC Korean Candy). I have some pastel pink shadows that work too (Cargo Suited to a Tea palette), but it has to be quite a pale and light pink or it looks awful.

What color do you feel you wear best? Red for lips, and taupe on the eyes. The latter is flattering on everybody. The former makes a statement against my pale skin.
What color do you feel is least flattering? I’m very cool toned, so definitely anything with a strong yellow-brown undertone. Peaches and orangey-coppers look awful on me. Warm pinks aren’t excessively flattering either.
Have you found a way to wear your āleast flatteringā in a flattering way? My summer skintone is more neutral, so I can sometimes get away with more yellow in my makeup. I do have to offset it with a fair bit of cooler neutrals, though.
