Your skin tone/coloring: light and warm
Most hydrating lip balm? Surprisingly the Nivea balms that come in a round tin.
Best tinted lip balm? Clinique Chubby Stick!
Best lip scrub? I don’t use lip scrubs! I use the wet cotton pad technique.
what is the wet cotton pad technique?!
Soak a cotton pad in hot water, squeeze so it’s just damp,keep it pinched between your lips while it’s warm, and then rub your lips with it as soon as it get colder. The warmth softens flakes really well and the water loosens them. Follow with lip balm, voila! It’s super gentle.
Your skin tone/coloring: Cool-toned and pale
Most hydrating lip balm? I just use plain ol’ chapstick.
Best tinted lip balm? Revlon’s balm stains and lip butters are comfortable enough. I don’t like the formulas of proper tinted balms. The lines don’t stay precise.
Best lip scrub? I use a wet washcloth in the shower every day.
Your skin tone/coloring: Light/Medium Olive
Most hydrating lip balm? My favourite will always be the Blistex Lip Medex but I’m really loving the Vaseline Lip Therapy Rosy Lips (in the red tin) and the Best Damn Lip Mask
Best tinted lip balm? I like the Benefit Hydrating Tinted Lip balms and the Vaseline and Best Damn that I mentioned above.
Best lip scrub? I don’t know if you can still buy it, but Smashbox had a really great lip scrub in a squeezy tube. I think the ELF lip scrub is great but a little dry so I always put the lightest layer of lip balm or oil on first.

Best tinted lip balm? I don’t have any, I think, but I liked the sample of the red Bite Beauty Agave Mask!
Best lip scrub? I don’t use one, I just bring my facial exfoliator onto my lips. I use a fairly gentle facial exfoliator because I have sensitive skin so it’s suitable for the lips.

Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair with neutral undertones. I never buy high end balms, tinted balms or scrubs, I’m not a balm connoisseur like a lot of people here, so I don’t know how helpful my answers are.
Most hydrating lip balm? I usually use Blistex medicated, Burt’s Bees, or eos. I was recently very impressed with Jack Black: I got a tube in a subscription box and used it on my son when he was sick. His lips and nose were badly chapped, so I used clean cotton swabs to put Jack Black on them, and it helped so much…and so fast! He ended up using the whole tube. I’ll have to get some more and try it on me!
Best tinted lip balm? E.l.f. Lip Kiss Balm, e.l.f. Lip Balm Tint, e.l.f. Lip Balm SPF 15; Maybelline Baby Lips.
Best lip scrub? E.l.f. Lip Exfoliator, original, de-potted into a little tin. It’s much easier to use and softer than when left in the stick form.

I highly recommend Jack Black lip balm. Miraculously healing to my super chapped lips on which nothing seemed to work. Worth every penny. I use it as a thin first layer in daytime, put lipstick on top; and then again at bedtime.

Best tinted lip balm: Fresh Sugar Shine Lip Treatment (gloss product). My lips are highly sensitive to any trace of SPF, so this knocks out lots of balms, sadly. If DiorAddict Lip Glow removed the sunscreen entirely, that would be my winner here.
Best lip scrub: Fresh Sugar Lip Polish
Coloring: fair/cool
Best balm: actual lip balms do NOTHING for me. I’ve tried dozens, from Eos, to Jack Black, to Fresh. They feel nice enough on, but my lips are still in the same (horrible) condition as before. I get huge chunks of dry skin. The best thing I’ve found that actually works are the Lorac Alter Ego lip glosses. I know I’ve raved on them before, but they are really the only thing I’ve found to actually improve my lips after they’ve worn off.
Best tinted balm: well, I really like Clinique & L’Oreal chubby sticks, but I don’t think that they work well as balms!
Best lip scrub: I’ve found that they are worthless for me. A wet wash cloth, or even a tooth brush work best, but the results are short term, and it seems to exacerbate the dryness in the long run.
I know you may have tried the lip balm I am going to recommend but neosporin has pot “balm” called lip health overnight renewal therapy. I find this to be a really nice one to actually heal lips. Do you pick your lips or peel the dead/dry skin off? I know thats really bad for your lips and makes them peel more (i tend to do it and have to work really hard to get my lips back into shape.) I also looked up how to fix dry/cracked/peeling lips and lots of balms have ingredients in them that arent good for you so I had to do some research because I didnt want my lips looking that way. If you try the neosporin one I hope it works for you if not I hope you find something that does!

And yes, I try not to, but I am guilty of picking & chewing at the the dead skin…usually I’ll soften up first with some balm or gloss…I know it makes it worse, but I can’t deal with running around with chunks of dead skin hanging around. Totally gross, I know!!!
Your skin tone/coloring: Light medium/ brunette
Most hydrating lip balm? I order mine through this small company called My Lip Stuff – the packaging is beyond ugly but the formula is sooo smooth and moisturizing. They make literally hundreds of scents (fun!) and it feels like a solid stick of coconut oil. I stash them all over my house/office/purse 🙂
Best tinted lip balm? I prefer gloss, but Clinique Chubby Sticks are pretty fun if you’d count those as a balm. great range of colors but not hydrating.
Best lip scrub? I don’t really love lip scrubs. I have the one from Fresh and it’s ok. They’re messy.
Which scents of my lip stuff are your favorite?
I order London Fog every single time – it smells like Earl Grey tea with cream, it’s delicious! My other usual re-orders are Key Lime Pie for the summer, and a lot of the herbal ones to use at night. There is one called Bourjois that smells like old school luxury lipstick and for some reason I really like it. Have you ordered from them?

Most hydrating lip balm? Aerin Rose Lip Conditioner has stopped me from have major chapped lip issues like I used to have – I use it nightly. During the day, I use my cheap fav of Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Swivel Stick ($2.99!)
Best tinted lip balm? I’m not a big tinted balm person, but if I had to pick, it’s Fresh’s version in Fig. The shade is pretty much universally flattering and it’s moisturizing.
Best lip scrub? The only lip scrub I’ve been happy with is Laura Geller Lip Strip ($16). I use it once a week, whether I “need it or not”. I also use it on days I plan on wearing a matte lipstick (followed by application of the Palmer’s cocoa butter, sit for a bit, then blot) to prevent application issues.

Best lip scrub? Mary Kay Satin Lips Scrub (the balm is just average) and e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator (the one in stick form that looks like a lipstick tube)

Most hydrating lip balm? Daytime: Korres lip butter: (potted version) Nighttime: Bite Agave Lip Mask
Best tinted lip balm? I love Korres lip butter in Jasmine, but does seem to have as much lanolin as the Guava (plain). Do not like the pots, but have’t really looked for a replacement either.
Best lip scrub? I do not use lip scrubs, they exacerbate lip peeling for me. I will remove rough bits with a cotton though.
Skin tone/type: Medium w/olive undertones, combination, dry lips.
Most hydrating lip balm: Jack Black and Eos are my favorites, especially the Jack Black Shea Butter & Vit. E!
Best tinted lip balm: Clinique Chubby Stick or Nyx Butter line.
Best lip scrub: Either the one by e.l.f. , or just brown sugar and coconut oil mixed into a paste!
Your skin tone/coloring: Fairest neutral. Foundation match example is Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet + Foundation in #15 Alabaster.
Most hydrating lip balm? I absolutely love Rouge Bunny Rouge Kiss Elixir balm. It’s rich, thick, hydrating and smells amazing! The tube is tiny but in my opinion it’s the best lip balm I’ve ever tried. Second would be the Rodial Glam Balm, the one in the tub. I like thick ones that stay put, especially at night since my lips get so dry.
Best tinted lip balm? I can’t think of a standout tinted balm but I do quite like the Vaseline Rosy Lips. It’s not a formula I’d usually reach for but it still feels pretty nice on the lips and I really like the colour and shine you get from it.
Best lip scrub? The only one I own is the Laura Geller one but I don’t rate it too much. I prefer to use a soft toothbrush and a little bit of lip balm.
I’m light to light medium with golden undertones.
My favorite hydrating lip balm is the Jouer Essential Lip Enhancer.
Favorite tinted lip balm would have to be the Benefit tint balms.
I really like the elf Studio Lip Exfoliator. It’s super cheap, does the job, and also moisturizes.

Tinted: Clinique Chubby Sticks. Easy and foolproof. I have several shades.
Scrub? I just use my Clarisonic on low.

Most hydrating lip balm? I prefer to use a hydrating moisturiser on my lips if my lips are really dry, I find it better than lip balm (although it’s not very tasty, it really works for me!)

Best lip scrub? I like to use a damp flannel (facecloth) or a soft toothbrush and gently rub my lips with it, but I only do this if my lips are really flaky. At the moment, they’re in good condition.

Best tinted lip balm? I love Fresh Sugar lip balm in the honey shade. Soap & Glory’s Sexy Mother Pucker gloss stick in the shade Nudist is surprisingly moisturizing too.

Best lip scrub? ELF Lip Scrubs – The original is the most heavy duty and the two newer ones are awesome as well and they have a lip balm built into the bottom of the stick!

I’m neutral toned, very fair.
The best lip balm I’ve ever tried is Nuxe Rêve de Miel. I repurchase as soon as it runs out, and it protects against the icy Scandinavian winter.
The most flattering lip balm on me is Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in pretty much any shade; it imparts very little colour, but makes the lips look full and soft.
As for exfoliating, I do that with my electric toothbrush.
