Your skin tone/coloring:
Bobbi Brown Natural Tan 4.25 (light medium/medium with yellow/neutral undertones)
Last beauty product that disappointed you?
OLEHENRIKSEN C-Rush Vitamin C Gel Moisturizer – I redeemed from Sephora for 750 points… It made my skin sting badly and I grew little milia bumps all over my face. 🙁 I actually had a sample before redeeming but I guess it wasn’t enough!
Most over-hyped product that you didn’t like?
OLEHENRIKSEN Banana Bright Eye Crème – No matter how many different ways I tried, it always managed to get into my eyes and sting. I always end up tearing up. I’m beginning to think that my skin should stay away from OLEHENRIKSEN products X_X
Last beauty product that surprised you?
HOURGLASS Caution Extreme Lash Mascara – It really separated my lashes and A+ for no raccoon eyes!
That mascara is indeed great for separating the lashes and staying put all day… but I still fail to see the `extreme` part. These mascaras nowadays and their fancy names. 😆
Your skin tone/coloring: Light neutral skin, green eyes, salt & pepper hair
Last beauty product that disappointed you? Guerlain Meteorite Pearls
Most over-hyped product that you didn’t like? MAC Powder Kiss lipstick
Last beauty product that surprised you? Lancome Definicils Mascara
Your skin tone/coloring: NW20 neutral/cool dark brown hair, blue eyes
Last beauty product that disappointed you? Benefit Hello Flawless foundation. Too pink, too wet looking.
Most over-hyped product that you didn’t like? I’m not all that taken with Mac Velvet Teddy on me.
Last beauty product that surprised you? Just how much I love Mac Nude Model. The purple-neutral thing is fantastic. Although I’m still getting used to the formula.
I LOVE Velvet Teddy. Its my MLBB and I wear it everyday. I’m an NW 15 so almost the same coloring as you so I find your thoughts on the shade very strange. I couldn’t live without it!
Your skin tone/coloring: Light-medium with yellow warm undertones, dark brown eyes and hair
Last beauty product that disappointed you? It’s not a huge disappointment, but my last one is the Charlotte Tilbury Air Brush Flawless Finish Micro-Powder. I have combination skin and the oils show through my face faster than with other recently used powders. It’s OK at first, it gives some air-brushed effect, but it barely lasts 4-5 hours before my foundation starts looking off. And besides that, I never hit pan on a powder so fast in my life… even with the lightest brush tap lots of powder gets picked-up.
Most over-hyped product that you didn’t like? Everything Briogeo… I tried multiple of their products, from styling to shampoos, and I still fail to understand what people like about them. Most of their products are `meah`, the conditioning mask that so many rave about did nothing for my hair (I have fine frizzy hair, with a bit of dryness)… I have tried way more better drugstore products.
Last beauty product that surprised you? Maybe the Becca Velvet Blurring Primer? 😆 I got surprised when I didn’t shake it well and it pumped the two formulas (the yellow and pink phases)… otherwise, an amazing primer, falling in love more and more with the brand.
I feel the same about Briogeo…the mask did nothing for my hair either and I don’t like the smell of any of their products.
I think Briogeo is one of those brands that gets raved hardcore by influencers on youtube/social media. When talking to “real” customers, I’ve heard much more tepid reviews on their products.
I sometimes feel the same, but I’m torn because some of those influencers are people I usually consider genuine (or more truthful than most). But to give some benefit of the doubt, I guess it’s easier to like a product when you get it for free (although some influencers specify they buy from the brand)… it’s similar to “real” customers liking some drugstore brands because it’s cheap saying “it’s a good product for the money”. When you spend your own money you tend to critique more… I know I always I’m harsher on mascara or haircare thinking “I can get almost similar results with a drugstore product, so this expensive one it’s meah, when actually they are comparable”.
Hi Ana Marie: Don’t know if this is your thing or not, but I use the CT micro-powder as a buffing powder only and not as a setting powder. Set your oilier areas first with a light layer and then buff this powder on top. Just a suggestion that may help you use the product up.
Thank you for the suggestion, I’m always trying to make things work (especially a $45 powder). I’m not that oily and I mostly use matte/semi-matte foundations, so I usually just dust setting powders or lightly press them into skin (depending on the product).
Last beauty product that disappointed you: Tom Ford’s Nude Dip palette. For $88 (and it’s only a quad!), I expected to be wowed. I don’t know if I got a “bad” one but I was so underwhelmed by it after a few tries that I don’t want to try again.
Most over-hyped product that you didn’t like: Charlotte Tilbury. I bought the Instant Eye Palette which turned out to be another overpriced disappointment that has put me off the brand completely.
Last beauty product that surprised you: I’m so over Too Faced but I got sucked into buying the Then & Now palette when it was a Sephora Weekly Wow, and it is surprisingly good.
Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/blue/gray eyes and warm brown hair.
Last beauty product that disappointed you? The Milani Soft Focus Glow Skin Enhancer. It gives a pretty effect, but it’s much thicker than I anticipated and much less moisturizing than I hoped it would be. And also the Smith Cosmetics blending brushes…. They’re so scratchy! I thought they would feel a bit softer.
Most over-hyped product that you didn’t like? The IT Cosmetics CC cream. I know there’s a group of people here that feel the same way about this product that I do, lol. Also the newer Anastasia Glow Kits. So dry looking on my skin and I don’t find the sparkle in them flattering at all. I miss the old Glow Kits that were just beautiful glossy shine before the reformulation.
Last beauty product that surprised you? The No. 7 Triple Action Lift and Illuminate Serum foundation. This is the first foundation that I’ve ever tried that I truly love. I’ll buy it forever and ever; it’s that good. Also the ND Bloom and Darya blush palettes. I just can’t get over them. They make me drool they’re so beautiful.
Skin tone: Medium warm
Disappointed: Charlotte Tilburg Genius Magic Powder
Over hyped product I didn’t like: The Pat Mcgrath holiday 2018 opulence collection. The three palettes were called Metalmorphosis, Dark Star, and Bronze Temptation. Not that they weren’t good, but I already own six other Pat McGrath palettes and there was nothing unique in these palettes and some of the shadows were a letdown.
Most recent products that surprised me (in a good way): Chanel Rouge Coco Flash lipsticks, Viseart Liaison palette, SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl and Shine Mask, and Sonia G Builder 2.
Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair with neutral undertones, grey hair and dark brown eyes.
Last beauty product that disappointed you? Coloured Raine Glolighter in Snow. I have had this for awhile wore it a couple of times I could never get it t blend well and it emphasized texture. In skincare it would be Farmacy Honeymoon Glow. As soon as I finish it I am going back to Good Genes.
Most over-hyped product that you didn’t like? I have to go back a ways but Marc Jacobs Noir mascara. It was a mess on me!
Last beauty product that surprised you? Marc Jacobs See-Quinns. A really beautiful product. I have all the shades and have had no issues with any of them.
Your skin tone/coloring: Light/medium, yellow undertones. Dark brown hair & eyes.
Last beauty product that disappointed you? The Viseart Soleil palette wasn’t quite as pigmented as I would have liked. I had to layer a lot to get the intensity I wanted. Super pretty, just more work than I thought…
Most over-hyped product that you didn’t like? I really didn’t like the UD Born to Run palette. Or the 66 lipstick. I know a lot of folks LOVED them and they got excellent reviews but I just didn’t like them at all.
Last beauty product that surprised you? Makeup Revolution Star Primer. It’s a very gimmicky bright blue gel and smells faintly of aniseed but holy hole in a doughnut Batman, does it work GREAT on my skin.
I am having the same reaction to the Soleil palette, especially the two red shades. I have tried several different brushes and none gets me to the pigment level I get from the Minx and Tryst palettes.
I know, it’s so weird – I have Paris Nudes, Tryst and Siren and they’re all amazing. I do an eye, over primer, with Soleil and 5 minutes later I feel I have to add more product – even the gold seems to fade on me so quickly. I’m going to have to experiment with dampened brushes, I think.
Your skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Last beauty product that disappointed you? YSL Shine-in-Oil lipstick. For such a pricey product, it just didn’t last and was, basically, seriously overpriced
Most over-hyped product that you didn’t like? No question – Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer! I find it anything BUT either radiant or creamy….
Last beauty product that surprised you? Milani Afterglow Highlighter – it is SO beautiful and easily rivals my beloved Dior highlighters at a fraction of the price
Nars RCC is not my favorite either. Probably a good thing I like MUR (aren’t they rechristened Revolution Beauty, now? ) infinitely better. Actually, none of his base products work for me, but his color products seldom do not.
Yeah, that Nars concealer was matte and relatively tacky in my experience
Not bad, but not an easy formula to blend out under the eyes
Your skin tone/coloring: light, MAC NC 15-20, med brown hair & eyes
Last beauty product that disappointed you? Dior Diorshow Pump n Volume Mascara
Most over-hyped product that you didn’t like? Beauty Blender, Urban Decay Primer Potion & anything BH Cosmetics and tbh anything Juvia’s Place
Last beauty product that surprised you? It’s kind of OG at this point but I bought the Limecrime Venus II at the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty and I’m super impressed. Very pigmented, blends well and lasts all day!
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair neutral, slightly cool undertones. Light brown hair, green/blue/gray eyes.
Last beauty product that disappointed you? Milk Kush mascara. This looked really nice for a few weeks, then flaked all over my face.
Most over-hyped product that you didn’t like? Essence Pure Nude highlighter. This color didn’t work on me at all.
Last beauty product that surprised you? Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define. I’ve been happy with how nicely this helps cover my areas with rosacea but doesn’t look too heavy.
Skintone/Coloring: Fairly light, very neutral; dark-featured.
Disappointed: Fenty Matchstick Trio; while the shades were beautiful, and applied & blended like a dream, they caused cystic acne that I haven’t experienced in decades… After trying 3 different times, over different base products & alone, I had the same experience, so they had to be returned…
Over-Hyped: Since I don’t typically buy based on “hype” alone, but base my purchases on what I like aesthetically & in formulas, I’d have to say the original UD Naked palette. Granted, it was a beautiful palette, the formula was great, and I love neutral eyeshadow, but the actual shades didn’t work as well for me as I’d hoped.
Surprised: Catrice HD Liquid Coverage Foundation; I picked it up on a whim, and it has quickly become my “go-to” foundation. Worth mentioning are Wet n Wild Liquid Catsuit High Shine lipstick, which I’ve been wearing almost daily, and Wet n Wild Makeup Remover Micellar Cleansing Water, which is even better than Lancome Bi-Facil, and doesn’t irritate my eyes.
Your skin tone/coloring: light buff
Last beauty product that disappointed you? Guerlain Fall in Red lipstick (not red, too pale, feels sandy)
Most over-hyped product that you didn’t like? REN Ready Steady Glow Tonic. Does nothing to my skin, just feels stingy, tight, with an unpleasant residue. Also, their Anti-Fatigue line actually smells just like ThisWorks Deep Sleep line, so that’s confusing. I’m still sleepy too!
Last beauty product that surprised you? Stila liquid metallic lipstick. Hard to apply as it dries so fast, feels like rough sand that won’t come off.

Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Last beauty product that disappointed you? Designer Brands foundation: the porcelain shade was not quite right, the formula was a bit too thick and the pump didn’t work properly.
Most over-hyped product that you didn’t like? NARS eyeshadows – have tried Misfit (awful) and Subra (nothing like the plum shade it was meant to be) and they were both terrible.
Last beauty product that surprised you? The Maybelline Burgundy Bar palette. Beautiful, creamy champagne and neutral shades that last all day, lovely taupe and plum shades. On a half price sale and a DS brand, it was a bargain.
Your skin tone/coloring:
Light/medium with neutral to warm undertones (MAC NC25, NARS custard)
Last beauty product that disappointed you?
Two products at the same time: Grande Cosmetics mascara and L’oreal Infallible Pro Glow Concealer. The mascara supposedly has some good ingredients to improve the growth of your lashes, but the formula is thin and needs one million coats to give volume. The concealer is beautiful in the skin, but burns the crap of my eyes for some reason.
Most over-hyped product that you didn’t like?
Wander Beauty Purifying and peel-off mask. Many people love this mask, but i had so much trouble peeling it off that i got extremely anxious. It brightens the skin and gives a beautiful glow, but does not worth the work.
Last beauty product that surprised you?
It Cosmetics Confidence in a cream. O-M-G, perfect moisturizer for normal to dry skin. I apply at night and super hydrates the skin.
Your skin tone/coloring: light/cool, dark brown hair, hazel eyes
Last beauty product that disappointed you? Color Pop Yellow Goodbye BFF Mascara, it was clumpy but I’m stubborn and I won’t quite give up on it yet.
Most over-hyped product that you didn’t like? Guerlain Meteorite Pearls I find it just meh.
Last beauty product that surprised you? Nars Climax Mascara, the first few times I used it I didn’t like it. I put it aside for a while then I used it the other day and it performed beautifully.
I’m with you on the Meteorite Pearls. I can’t even see it on my face. I tried putting it only on one side and looked at myself in different lighting and came to the conclusion that although it feels glamorous to put it on and smells lovely, it doesn’t actually do anything on my skin.
I know and after spending all that money you would expect more.
At least I got it for 20% off! Lol
Lucky you lol!
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair-light Neutral
Last beauty product that disappointed you: Hourglass Veil Retouching Fluid. Tati said this was a must have for retouching, and I always need to retouch around and on my nose, either blowing it in cold season, or the fact that my nose sweats (so weird). It doesn’t really do much. A powder foundation works better.
Most over-hyped product that you didn’t like: I’m still torn on the ABH Riviera palette. While the quality is amazing, I just don’t use it, the colours are too bold.
Last beauty product that surprised you:
1. Shu Umera Essence Absolue Nourishing Oil. It has transformed my hair. It is like a silky halo now. I never would have bought it at $70 CND, except Sephora had it on sale 1/2 price.
2. Mehon SKin Prep Pro. We have an FX makeup company in the city, they sell to movie and stage makeup artists. This liquid product, applied under makeup, stops sweating, for body painting work, or just in humid climates. I now use it solely on my nose (sweats from the moment I put on primer, while I apply foundation and so on…) and it really helps keep my makeup in place. It’s a lifesaver!
Yah, I’m with you and struggling with ABH Riviera as well. The shimmer/foil shades are what I use and love. The rest I find awkward and too intense and when I blend them out, meh. I’m not a fan of harsher contrast and lines so I have to keep trying to see if it is my technique/brush.. but these trials def need to be on days where I am not going anywhere ?. Tuesday, I rescued an eye look by using Sydney Grace Regal (a soft muted cool purple) on top of the ghastly pink look I had built with Bahamas and Monte Carlo.
???? ???? ????/????????: Under my name; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes
???? ?????? ??????? ???? ???????????? ???? Kat von D Everlasting Glimmer Veil in Gold Skool. Dry, sheer, scant product, plus the sponge-tip came off the applicator with the first use.
???? ????-????? ??????? ???? ??? ????’? ????? 1. NARSissist Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow Palette (the formula is good, but not as amazing as everyone hyped it up to be; the color selection lacks medium shades; Subra turns brown on me). 2. Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey (quality is good, but it’s just a basic rust color that looks OK on me, but is not my most flattering, perfect shade). 3. MUG eyeshadows (hit and mostly miss, IMHO)
???? ?????? ??????? ???? ????????? ???? Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette. I thought it looked really boring, but some friends convinced me to buy it. I ended up really loving it.
Skin tone Medium tan with neutral undertoness.
Last beauty product that disappointed me? Marc Jacobs eyelash primer , I know tons of people love it , for me it just ended up melting any mascara I used over it.
Most over hyped product that I didn’t like? This is one of my favorite drugstore brands so I hesitate to out them but Milano Amore liquid Shines looked amazing on every You Tuber I’ve seen but on me the colors all seemed a bit off like they have a strange greyish undertone that doesn’t match the color on the tube.
It’s a color thing so they might work beautifully on someone with cooler undertones.
Oh I forgot
Last product that surprised me ?
Peter Thomas Roth Potent C Serum and Moistuizer
Also Murad Insta Blur Primer .
I’m on my 4th bottle of the PTR Potent-C Serum – such a great product! It’s not cheap but the bottle lasts me 3 months (I only use in the a.m.). Previous to PTR I went through 2-3 bottles of the original cult vitamin C serum Skinceuticals CE-Ferulic (no problems but didn’t blow me away for the $$$); I also tried the highly-praised Drunk Elephant C-firma, which gave me a horrible breakout and oxidized so quickly. I’m not interested in trying anything else now I’m using the Potent-C.
Your skin tone/coloring: light neutral beige
Last beauty product that disappointed you? Smith and Cult foundation I ordered from Ulta. First Ulta order ever and my product arrive smashed. They packed the top of the box, but not the bottom and the foundation was in a glass bottle. 4 weeks later and I’m still trying to get my refund. What a debacle. I’m out 68 dollars and consequently do not want to order from Ulta ever again.
Most over-hyped product that you didn’t like? Love/hate Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter. The more I use it, I realize it breaks down my foundations. I only use a small dab, but I find it interferes with coverage; makes foundation eventally turn spotty looking.
Last beauty product that surprised you? L’Oreal Infallible Fresh Wear foundation. Amazing!
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair neutral, preference of cool tones
Last beauty product that disappointed you? Ole Henrickson Banana Bright Primer. I wore it by itself and I looked like a disco ball. So did my hands.
Most over-hyped product that you didn’t like? LM Translucent powder. It’s just too heavy for me, and I have normal to oily skin. So bizarre.
Last beauty product that surprised you? I’ve been using the Regenerator from Surreal Skincare and it’s started to fade a few of my terrible acne scars.
Cool, fair skin, blue eyes, dark brown hair
Beauty product that disappointed AND was overhyped: Pat McGrath mascara. I couldn’t wait to try it and was convinced that since it’s a PM product it would be absolute perfection. Wrong. The formula is very wet, made a clumpy mess out of my lashes, but, worst of all, 2 hours after applying I had smudges and my under eyes were covered in flakes. I was heartbroken. Anyone else have the same experience?
Beauty product that surprised: L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Primer. Hydrates my dry skin and my foundation goes on like a dream.
Skin tone/coloring: Light-medium/neutral, blonde hair, hazel eyes.
Last beauty product that disappointed you? Urban Decay eye primer. It did absolutely nothing to keep my eyeshadow in place and it creased terribly.
Most over-hyped product that you didn’t like? Anything by Charlotte Tilbury. The lipsticks are soooo drying, and the eyeshadows and blushes have no pigment. I know a lot of people like her products, but for me they just don’t work.
Last beauty product that surprised you? Ole Henriksen Retin-ALT Serum and Sleeping Creme. These are the first products from the brand that actually made a difference to my skin. Absolutely love both of them!
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair-light, w/ neutral undertones and some redness. Light beige blond hair; light brown eyes.
Last beauty product that disappointed you? Briogeo Deep Conditioning hair mask. I purchased the Holiday box just to have the mask in the standard size. It did nothing for my dry hair. Their Rosarco Milk Leave-In Conditioning Spray was ok, but nothing spectacular. For my hair, their products are not hydrating enough.
Most over-hyped product that you didn’t like? Milk Makeup – Kush high volume mascara. Yes, it gives me volume but it transfers like crazy on me (I have the standard size). I got a mini size of the Hourglass Caution Extreme Lash Mascara and I love it (no transfer + volume).
Last beauty product that surprised you? The new eyeshadow palette from Wander Beauty – Wanderess Fling.
Is the Wander palette a good or bad surprise? I’ve never tried the brand but I like the colors in the palette.
It is a good surprise Gena. I purchased my first Wander Beauty e/s palette last December (the Chill one) and I was impressed with it. The eyeshadows were like butter (similar to my Mario palette by ABH). The Chill palette is made in South Korea, is CF, gluten-free and has no mineral oil, phtalates, parabens and synthetic fragrance.
The new Fling palette is made in Taiwan and the swatches you see on Sephora Canada (I’m Canadian) are not the most accurate. I would have a look at those available on the brand’s website and especially at their video showing the swatches. I have fair-light skin, like in that video, and I can tell that those swatches are exactly like they show up on my arm. Although the five shimmery shades are all described as “shimmers”, three of them (the upper row in the palette: Bouquet, Blossom and Marigold) are more shimmery than than bottom two, in that they have some tiny, fine sparkles (especially Blossom). You can see the difference in that video. I apply them with my fingers or with a flat brush. There is a bit of kick but I didn’t experience any fallout during the day. The bottom two, Orchid and Cedar, have no such tiny sparkles and are pure buttery shimmers. Eden is a matte (more like a satin imo) and it applies like a dream. Also, all the shimmers are talc-free. I’m really happy with the two e/s palettes I have from this brand. Here is the link to the brand’s video (check the third row, first video): https://www.wanderbeauty.com/videos
I had the same mascara experience! Kush is really pretty on and does actually seem to strengthen my lashes, but I’d never wear it to a full day of work or a rowdy night out. Caution is perfect for all day use. I wish it were easier to remove, but it’s a fair trade for how trusty it is.
Bummer Briogeo wasn’t good for you. I’m going to get the conditioning mask during the sale after getting a sample, but the spray did nothing for me. I’m also getting the jumbo size of the curly hair conditioner. I don’t need a ton of moisture, but I can use a little, and it rinsed really clean and gave my wave-curls good definition.
Last beauty product that disappointed you? truly truly truly disappointed was long time ago a MAC eyeshadow palette and that really made me got off the MAC bandwagon for good.
Most over-hyped product that you didn’t like? Tatcha Primer, Fenty Foundation, Fenty Stix
Last beauty product that surprised you? YSL Tatouage Matte Stain, Benefit Cheek Parade
Your skin tone/coloring: NC30/ Armani 5.5
Last beauty product that disappointed you? Cle de Peau serum – I don’t have super sensitive skin but I tried this and it made my eyes water and skin burn.
Most over-hyped product that you didn’t like? Clarins lip oil – this just made my lips drier and seemed to last less than 10 mins on me.
Last beauty product that surprised you? Honest Beauty lip tinted lip balm. Holy smokes – I love these! They feel good and give just that hint of color. Second place goes to Bobbi Brown cream shadow sticks – I had 5 mins before a big client meeting and these just got me to look so polished.
???? ?????? ??????? ???? ???????????? ???? Dermadoctor Kakadu C Serum. This did absolutely nothing for my skin, it just sat on top of my skin.
???? ????-????? ??????? ???? ??? ????’? ????? Inglot eyeshadows. They were so hyped back in the day I bought quite a few and they did n ot live up to the hype at all. They were ok but not great. After that I always side eye you tube reviews especially raves.
???? ?????? ??????? ???? ????????? ???? Morphe 3502 my first venture into Morphe and it is a workhorse. I just wish it was travel friendly.
Last beauty product that disappointed you?
Juvia’s place Warrior palette. The formula does not stay put on me and always ends up on my contact lenses. I won’t buy another palette from them.
Most over-hyped product that you didn’t like?
Too Faced Multi-Use Concealer-My skin HATES this! I couldn’t use the Born This Way foundation either.
Last beauty product that surprised you?
My Pat McGrath lipsticks last all day. Comfortably. Amazing quality.
Last beauty product that disappointed you? Farmacy Honeymoon Glow. Although Honeymoon Glow is tauted as having a lower pH (therefore more gentle on the skin), it was not aggressive enough for my textured skin. I got much better results with SR Good Genes and will stick with using that for now on. I was also disappointed with Marc Jacobs Steel(etto) palette (glad I got 25% off or else I would’ve been sad). I was going back and forth between that palette and Viseart Liaison. I wish I would’ve purchased Viseart instead. Steel(etto) was to bland/blah for me and just did pack enough punch for me.
Most over-hyped product you didn’t like? Tatcha Primer and OLEHENRIKENSEN Banana Brighten Eye Creme. I didn’t care for the texture/consisteny of either one of them. The eye creme just made my under eyes look greasy, not brightening.
Last beauty product that surprised you? Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. At $60 it is quite pricey (I only get it when I have a coupon code to use) however, I only need to use a small amount and my oily skin loves it as both a moisturizer and primer especially in the cooler months. I love it!
Your skin tone/coloring: ^
Last beauty product that disappointed you? Fenty Flyliner only because the tip dried out. Beautiful formula to wear tho, lasted the whole day.
Most over-hyped product that you didn’t like? I’m hardly buying anymore because hype is so misleading and I have such a large stash of good makeup! I guess ABH Subculture? But honestly I do like it and think the colors are beautiful, I just get disappointed with colors initially applying muted and then fading even more with wear. I had the same complaint with Modern Renaissance and gave it to my sister.
Last beauty product that surprised you? MAC Shape and Shade brow pens are SO GOOD! Also Glossier Cloud Paints. Hard to see the point of other blushes anymore.
