Sultry Sunset: All About Funbathing!

I was completely determined to use Funbathing lipstick, since it’s the only To the Beach lipstick I hadn’t yet used in an actual look. I already had a good idea of what I wanted to do — kind of a smoky berry/burgundy eye — and this is kind of ended up. I didn’t intend for the inner corner to be quite as orange-yellow, but I suppose it works!

You will need the following…

For eyes, start by applying Smudgeproof as your eyeshadow base all over the eye area with the 249. Using the 239, apply Goldmine eyeshadow on the inner third of the lid and pull upwards along the inner crease. Lightly blend Free Love eyeshadow on the middle of the lid with the 239. Next, apply Star Violet eyeshadow into the crease with the 226, lightly blending onto the outer lid. Define the crease with Vibrant Grape eyeshadow and the 226. Blend Nylon eyeshadow with the crease shade and highlight the brow bone. Bring everything together by applying #11 Aqua Cream on the lower lash line. Finish by sweeping lashes with Plushlash mascara.

For cheeks, apply Hipness blush on the apples of the cheeks and sweep upwards towards the temple with the 116, then lightly pat Get-Away Bronze blush on the cheekbones.

For lips, apply Funbathing lipstick first, and then layer Easy Lounger lipglass for a complementing lip.

I love Funbathing I hope I’m able to get it before it sells out. This look is really pretty, I don’t have all of the colors you used, so I wanna try it with Goldmine, Firecracker and maybe a dark purple like Fashion Groupie or something.

This look is simply gorgeous. The orange-yellow in the inner corners just made the whole look popped!

Somehow I also associated Funbathing and the rest of the lippies shade from TTB with sunrise and sunset. That’s just how I felt when I was playing with them and swatching them at the store yesterday.

i am definitely getting mufe #11, looks exactly what i want lining my lower lash line, i don’t like the gold to be super bright, this is nice but not too subtle.

I have to say that Funbathing really makes the look ! I know you chose eyeshadow colours to coordinate with the lipstick since you hadn’t done a look with that lipstick yet but it really does look great 😀

Such a beautiful look, one of my all time favs. Finally someone used star violet, its such an underrated mac eyeshadow but its lovely and I love how you used it in the crease, I will def. try this look myself 🙂
