Hug life :O emerald-teal-everything like that is my favorite color 😀 I have several eyeshadows in that shade, I’m obsessed with malachite.
They are all pretty 🙂 maybe when ill be richer i’ll get some cause i know(from the net) they make very pigmented ones.

I’m super excited for these. I’ve been watching to many IMATS LA hauls. lol

But they usually do a birthday sale around Febuary 14th so I’m not sure if I should wait and haul everything at once with them. I was going to spen $90 CAN on the NARS Narsissist Dual Intensity Eyeshadow Palette but i rther buy some of these.

Grand Tiara looks amazsing, I wasn’t a fan of the original Tiara texture. 😉 I want them all.

I don’t like loose shadows -they make a mess and fallout is usually an issue. I don’t mind shimmer and a little glitter, but these look over-the-top to me. And it seems to emphasize wrinkles in the promo pictures.

Oh my goodness!!!! 😀 I think I really must have every single one! At least, nearly! How do I go about getting these, please? Any deals with purchasing lots? Thank you! I could die! Omg. Perfect.

Lotus Avatar

Thank you so much for the information, Ani_Bee! 🙂 Ivlike to avoid conventions. 🙂 My stash is beyond me so I never needed to look into Sugarpill but these, especially a few, really have my interest piqued! May I please ask you how the fallout is with these formulations? Thank you! <3

These are pretty pure pigments with little to no binders. MAC pigments for example does add some binders in the formula.

I personally apply with a damp brush on a stick eyeshadow base. But they can work dry on a regular primer. Apply them damp just gives you the best colour payoff with less fallout.

Best trick I learned was to just apply my eyemakeup first then go in with my foundation/concealer. Take way you can just clean up off your bare skin without any issue.

Hi Ani! Our loose eyeshadows do contain binders to help with adhesion and staying power. 🙂 I’m so happy to hear that you’re excited! And yes, Grand Tiara is like Tiara on steroids haha xoxo

WARPAINTandUnicorns Avatar

I got you Amy. And yes they don’t fall out like some other indie brands I’ve tried (also yours are way more pigmented).

What I meant though was that mac us waxes (oils) as well in there formula make the texture more like damp sand/lumpy. most pressed shadows have some form of oil to help bind them.

I’m excited for Grand tiara. Metallics that blind!

Lotus Avatar

Lol! 😛 Yes, I understand that! I was just curious as to if one can purchase these as a set. It’s all good though. Thank you for both responses!

Love the colors. especially Strangeling and Countess, but man, I am just not a fan of loose eyeshadows 🙁 I’d love to see these in pressed form!

Jenny Cupcakes Avatar

Charmy looks like a loose version of Kitten Parade.

I wish they sold samples, I can’t justify buying a giant jar of loose pigment DX

Thank you for posting this! I saw a comparison shot of some of the new vs old chromalust on the Sugarpill Facebook but couldn’t find anything outlining all the new colors. Can’t wait to pick some up! Quite a few of these are calling to me.
Now if only they’d release the Pro Palette online!

Awww!!! Darling Celia! I’m so hugging you with joy! Happy eye color day! 😛 I’m still on the fence.. Promo pictures are shot professionally, thus no clue if the product will match the color in mind, and I certainly love what I see but I know I won’t use a whole container, ever! I’m also prone to spillage and have not worked with loose in awhile and never tried Sugarpill.. So I’m enjoying looking at them and dupes! 😀 Yet I’m so enormously happy for you! Congratulations! Purchases like that feel extraordinary! Perhaps some day they’ll sell mini minies! I’m so obsessed with rich multidimensional emeralds, violets, and well.. Everything else gets noticed then and I fall in love too! Haha! I love makeup!! Kisses! <3

(Can’t hit the reply button under your last post so responding here) *Hugs* Thanks, honey! In my experience, Sugarpill’s promo pictures are very color-accurate. They definitely are less spill-prone than other loose shadows because of the way they fill/deal with the jars. There’s always a little room at the top and they’re super easy to just get a little in the cap and pour some out from there. If I was going to stick with one kind of loose shadow only, it would be Sugarpill. Minis would be AWESOME! That would be great.

These look beautiful, but Countess looks a lot like Magentric to me and I wonder how they differ… I really hope I don’t regret getting magentric after seeing Countess swatched.

Katherine Avatar

Aaahhh! I think I may finally have a contender to replace my beloved, discontinued, Mountain Brew from Geek Chic. Mint Soda looks pretty dead-on. I would have preferred a pressed pan, but I guess I can break out the rubbing alcohol and try fixing that myself.

I am so excited for this! This is where the money I would have spent on buying the not buy-able urban decay LTD palette is going! I’m so happy! Sugarpill will accept me as their customer. Thank you Christine for letting me know about this!! I love Sugarpill!!!!! And of course Temptalia!!!!!!!!!
