Stila’s Precious Pearl Collection not only features the so stunning Precious Pearl Palette, but four shades of Pearl Shimmer Gloss ($22.00 each):

  • South Sea Coral Soft peach with white shimmer
  • Pearlescent Pink Mid-tone pink with shimmer
  • Ocean Currant Deep, sheer berry with pink and red shimmer
  • Pearl Kitten Universally flattering warm pink-champagne with shimmer

I was able to try out South Sea Coral, which is a soft, semi-sheer peachy shade with multi-colored shimmer; as well as Pearl Kitten, which is a frosty, shimmery beigey color. It almost looks brown in the tube, but the formula itself is pretty sheer so it ends up working out when applied to lips. I preferred South Sea Coral, because on my lips, it’s almost like a sheer, milky peach with subtle gold shimmer. Pearl Kitten is richer in shimmer and gives my lips a bronzy look.

The South Sea Coral is really pretty. I think I will have to add it to my list along with the eye shadow palette. Although the more I look at your swatches, the Pearl Kitten is growing on me too. Why must spring have so many tempting things? 🙂

can i ask you what section of the drug store you find the glycerin in? i have looked at two drug stores and the employees are no help. just wondering where i should be looking. thanks a lot!

Mmm, they look nice. But how did they feel on your lips, compared to Lipglass? With BBR coming up, I just don’t know about spending that extra $8.

have you tried the stila lip glaze sticks? if not, i highly reccomend them, they are moisturizing, creamy, shimmery, shiney and very pigmented. they are $16.50 on the website but there is this amazing website called beautycrunch.com that sells discounted stila, so i highly reccomend checking that out. u can get the stila lip glazes for like $8 and eyeshadows for like $7

oh my gosh, pearl kitten is stunning! i love love love the frostiness~ are there any cheaper dupes for this? i really can’t bear to fork over $22 for 0.10 fl oz of product 🙁

I got the South Sea Coral on clearance from Stila’s website, and I’m so in love with it! I agree that $22 is a little steep for it normally, but it has the silkiest texture, that feels amazing going on, and the most delicious smell ever. It definitely feels luxurious on the lips, and stays soft and not sticky at all. Granted, sticky is what keeps a lipgloss ON in the first place, but I was pleasantly surprised with its staying power for a non-sticky gloss.
This one gets an “A” from me!
