Sneak Peek: Viseart Golden Hour Eyeshadow Palette Photos & Swatches

Viseart Golden Hour Eyeshadow Palette ($49.00 for 0.49 oz.) is a new palette that features nine shades in updated packaging with most of the exterior being rubberized and the cover being metallic.
First Impressions
The mattes were soft, blendable, and semi-opaque to opaque in a single layer with slight dustiness in the pan but nothing that seemed particularly concerning. They felt slightly firmer compared to some of Viseart’s other mattes but not significantly different. The shimmers were moderately dense and fairly pigmented, and they applied evenly to bare skin. There was nothing through swatching or applying (I’m writing this as I wear them, so I have nothing to report yet on wear) that was inconsistent with Viseart’s typical, high quality formula.

I decided to skip this one for now; to many dupes. I initially thought they were cream shadows, but Sephora has since corrected the description…
Palais is a nice, pumpkin shimma.
Your eye look is beautiful, Christine!
I’m excited that Viseart is coming out with more non-makeup artist palettes, but this one is a pass for me just due to the shade range. I hope they come out with a cooler toned palette in this format sometime.
Pretty, but I’ll probably skip it. I feel like I have too many of these shades already. But I really do like the Viseart matte formula. I have yet to try their shimmers.
I purchased this as soon as it became available as I absolutely adore Viseart shadows.
All I can say is wow!
I know the colors look like so many others out right now, but the photos don’t capture the depth and dimension they have. There’s just something special and spectacular about them. I have these colors in other palettes as well, but they just don’t compare to Viseart. The colors are not one dimensional at all. They’re smooth, buttery and blendable and just gorgeous.
I am in love with this palette…to the exclusion of all others, including my ABH MR.
I can’t say enough good things about this palette. Believe me, it’s worth trying. If you don’t like it, Sephora has a great return policy.
I don’t care if the formula is so pigmented, it stays on my eyelids until the end of time— we’ve seen these colors over and over and over. Hey, Viseart, how about a remake of the Pearl Brights palette?
I have the Minx II and the Chanel Candeur et Experience so there isn’t enough new here for me to buy this. The black shades do not work for me anymore (alas!).
I think this looks pretty good. I’m not sure how much use I’d get out of it though. I’d also have to swatch, some warmer colors pull so warm on me they look sickly, so it’s always a gamble with eye shadows.
Great looking quality! However, I was somehow expecting Royal to be a gunmetal blue-charcoal, but it’s just a shimmery black. So, because I have Chroma and Minx Theory palettes, I don’t believe I need this one. But I sure DO love it!
I’m really excited Viseart is coming out with 9 pans and at the middle price point of $50. This looks like great quality, but I have too many dupes of this one right now, will wait for next one
I really like the packaging but I already own too many dupes from the brand (the red might be the only one I don’t have). I hope they will have a lot of success with this palette and expand their range further!
Still looking forward to the next exclusive palette they are going to release soon!
Love Carousel!!!!!
Very pretty but I have so many of these colors. I think that I will wait until after the palette/shadow holiday race is over and re-evaluate. I do like the packaging and looks like it would be easy to travel with. We shall see after reviews are in.
Gorgeous shades – if they didn’t have the orange and red/pink in this I would be seriously tempted. Lovely eye look Christine, as usual. You are so talented.
I can”t do any orange, red or pink either, I look sick!
Concur with everyone on already having very similar colors, but I’ve heard so much about Viseart’s quality I was hoping to find one palette that would interest me, and so far this one, the mini (but I’ve read reviews that said it wasn’t the same quality as the normal palettes) and the colorful matte one ar etc only ones that I’d consider. Am I missing out on a top product if I don’t have a Viseart palette? I’m looking for something like the Zoeva Spectrum palette (which I also don’t have), an all matte palette or a palette with a larger proportion of mattes. And I’m missing champagnes, taupes, darker blues, greens, & blacks (for neutral to warm skin-tones).
This is **the** ideal palette for my skin tone and eye color. And I have pretty much all these colors already (Royal and Carousel are probably the only two I don’t have direct dupes for). [sigh]
Any oranges make me look sick, too warm for me. Love the 2 bottom shimmery colors!
