It’s a nice looking set of swatches, I don’t see any major duds, and I like Follow Me (purple), but it’s mostly brown/neutrals, and I have enough of those shades already. With a Vegas and Stardust theme, I was expecting a much more colorful palette. Maybe they should rename this Desert Sands. I’ll save my money for the UD Spectrum palette.

I’ve lived in Las Vegas for almost 20 years, and the colors in this palette actually do a fairly good job of representing the city. There’s a more “modern” casino section (called The Strip) and then there’s the “older” casino section, which is the one featured in a lot of mob movies. This palette is more reflective of the latter: gold rings on each finger, Liberace, fur coats, leopard print, etc. I would even say it’s more representative of a daytime older Vegas. The purple color Follow Me is a nice homage to the modern Vegas casino culture and The Strip shade is appropriately named, in my opinion, as it seems to be representative of new money.

To be fair, there aren’t much colors out here in Las Vegas. But I do agree with you that they probably could’ve nixed some of the repetitive pale shades and replaced Pink Pearl and/or #Selfie with a royal blue with glitter or an olive green with cool-toned shimmer. Just my opinion. 😉

This swatched a lot better than I expected given the last few TF palettes. I like the color combo. It is perfect for me for Fall. I’m interested in the review. But-IDK, So many good things coming out now and soon. I am surprised this is still available actually! It would have to perform really well for me to buy it with all the Holiday goodies coming up!

Wow, that’s very nice!… I mean, if you don’t own the Chocolate Bar Palette, or any of the Nakeds… or any popular neutral palette. Oh well…

#Selfie, Pink Pearl, & The Strip pretty much look identical to one another. Wish different shades were used intstead; pointless to have 3 of the same looking color.

Cora (Vintage or Tacky) did a look with this. She gushed over this palette, but does not do her opinions/ ratings systematically. She also always uses primer. But, check her video out on her blog: Vintageortacky.com.
The red-based browns are pretty nice, but the three mentioned shimmers could translate the same on many persons. This looks like a swatch-it-in-person-first palette.

I was going to buy this the other day but said to myself I’m going to wait ’til I see a Temptalia swatch. I’m glad I did. I’m not very excited about it anymore. The colors are pretty but no big standouts for me. Dat Jackpot though. That be a pretty one.

I don’t own any Too Faced palettes, and I was leaning towards the Chocolate Bar… But then I read your review and swatches. Disappointment. However, the sneak peak swatches look really good; so I think I’ll be going for this one! Cannot wait to hear your thoughts. 🙂
